New Hampshire Gov. Christopher T. Sununu said Sunday that the GOP has its “priorities screwed up,” noting that only two House Republicans voted to censure Rep. Paul Gosar for posting an anime video depicting himself killing Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez with a sword. The Republican governor also noted that some in the Republican Party want to strip their GOP colleagues of committee assignment for supporting a bipartisan infrastructure bill. “I think when a congressman says those things and puts that thing up, of course they have to be censured for that,” Mr. Sununu said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”...

DEVELOPING STORY: House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) delayed quick passage of the Democrat’s Build Back Broke spending plan late Thursday night by holding the floor for more than three hours in a filibuster-style speech. Democrats repeatedly interrupted McCarthy’s speech with jeers and yells to “vote!” Every page of the Democrats' Socialist Spending Scam will be paid for by or borrowed from you: America’s hardworking taxpayers. Watch the speech live below This is the single most reckless and irresponsible spending bill in our nation’s history. https://t.co/OCJJ0XaXzU — Kevin McCarthy (@GOPLeader) November 19, 2021

Reps. Liz Cheney (Wyo.) and Adam Kinzinger (Ill.), are expressing support for censuring their fellow Republican Rep. Paul Gosar (Ariz.) for posting a photoshopped anime video this week depicting himself killing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.). Cheney and Kinzinger have frequently criticized their own party over its continued ties to former President Trump, but it is nevertheless extraordinarily rare for lawmakers to back censure efforts against members of their own party. A group of House Democrats, led by Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.), formally introduced a resolution on Friday to censure Gosar over the video, which the Arizona Republican defended as a...

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said Democrats' so-called 'woke problem' was 'made up' to try and push the left away from fighting for racial injustice and election reform, which she claims could help them win. 'One dangerous aspect of thinking there's a 'woke problem' is that Dem chances for re-election or majorities in House, Senate, & WH rely on the racial justice issue of voting rights,' the New York representative tweeted Sunday evening. She added: 'Dems distancing from racial justice makes protection of voting rights less likely, ensuring losses.' Republicans and establishment Democrats claimed that the party's embracing a more progressive agenda and...

Chuck Schumer was spotted celebrating the passing of President Biden's infrastructure bill on Friday night, but the Senate Majority Leader who was in Puerto Rico, appeared to let the win for the Democrats go to his head and forgot to wear a face mask. Strict local rules on the Caribbean island are still in place and require those in public places indoors to wear face coverings, regardless of their vaccination status. Schumer, 70, was seen embracing island life as he attempted to perform the merengue alongside New York City Council member Carlina Rivera who was also maskless. 'Sen. Majority Leader...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) blasted Democrat strategist James Carville for being out of touch with the Democrat Party regarding the debate over its recent election losses, Business Insider reported Friday. “Like the average audience for people seriously using the word ‘woke’ in a 2021 political discussion are James Carville and Fox News pundits so that should tell you all you need to know,” Ocasio-Cortez said in a social media post. Carville told PBS on Wednesday “wokeness” was to blame for Terry McAuliffe’s (D) loss to Glenn Youngkin (R) during the Virginia gubernatorial election. Breitbart News reported: “[W]hat went wrong is...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has a degree in economics from Boston University, yet she still misunderstands the most basic of economic principles: supply and demand. According to Ocasio-Cortez, the solution to across-the-board, runaway inflation is massive government spending. Per a recent tweet from AOC, “If you are worried about inflation, it’s important to understand why it’s happening: supply chain, labor, and healthcare complications. We can address these issues by investing in infrastructure, wages, healthcare & benefits. AKA signing BBB/BIF into law as absolute, bare minimum.” AOC would like for you to believe that all the economic problems that are stifling...

Any sane person realizes that the Virginia gubernatorial election was in effect a referendum on the gallop toward socialism that Old Joe Biden and his handlers have taken the country on since Jan. 20 and knows that race-baiting and the repudiation of parental authority are not a winning formula. But when we’re talking about rational and reality-based assessments, that leaves out Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-Trotsky), who has her own analysis of why the socialist, authoritarian Democrats crashed and burned in Virginia on Tuesday: they weren’t Leftist enough..@AOC finds a silver lining in Virginia election losses.“I think that the results show...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) offered brief insight on Democrat Terry McAuliffe’s loss in Virginia’s gubernatorial race, contending that the results show the “limits” of running a “super moderated campaign” and warning that Democrats should be worried about the midterms if “nothing changes.” “Plus on the election front, I actually think we have good news as well. I know that Virginia was a huge bummer,” she said in an video posted to Instagram on Wednesday.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed that Republican Glenn Youngkin won the Virginia gubernatorial election because Democratic candidate Terry McAuliffe ran a "100% super moderated campaign" that didn't "energize a progressive base."

By now we all know the tale of socialist Cinderella, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez hitting the Met Gala red carpet to hobnob with the wealthy and powerful in a pricey couture gown emblazoned with the phrase, “Tax the Rich.“ If it was a sartorial effort to show solidarity with her working-class constituents, it only seemed to get “yas kween” snaps from the fancy people inside the fancy museum. Enter Kyrsten Sinema who basically said, “hold my Keystone Light… and Marlboro Reds.” This week, the 45-year-old presided over the Senate in a denim vest, looking like Ponyboy’s long lost sister who made...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal agenda is now governing the future of city pension funds, Mayor Bill de Blasio and city Comptroller Scott Stringer announced Thursday. Self-described socialist AOC was on hand at City Hall Thursday as the city politicians, each with less than three months left in office, pushed $8 billion in investments to her Green New Deal agenda — detailing their commitment of the Big Apple’s pension investments to climate-friendly companies. The $8 billion through 2025 amounts to a down payment toward a previously stated commitment by de Blasio for $50 billion in pensions funds invested in...

First lady Jill Biden flew in to New York City Wednesday for a visit to PS 83 in the Bronx amid her push for higher teacher pay. Biden, herself a teacher, arrived at the school on Rhinelander Avenue with Mayor Bill de Blasio and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) in tow. Biden traveled to New York after addressing the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy National Summit on Adult Literacy earlier Wednesday at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. “I think Joe is saying, ‘We have to pay our teachers more.’ And we’re getting more money to the schools,” the first...

Democrats in both chambers of Congress have long emphasized their $3.5 trillion budget bill’s climate policies as constituting a crucial element of the bill; however, moderate Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W. Va.) remains unconvinced on these, even as Democrats speed toward another legislative deadline at the end of October. For most Democrats in Congress, policies to reduce carbon emissions and to move away from fossil fuels have been a keystone of their policy priorities for months. When Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), who drafted the original budget framework, introduced the bill on the Senate floor, he promised an “extremely aggressive … [transformation...

With instability and political unrest roiling the world stage, it is more important than ever for America to have solid allies in the Middle East, a dangerous region historically rife with conflict and dysfunction. Americans know and understand almost innately that Israel's values are a mirror of our own: Israel champions democracy and the rule of law, has a strong judiciary and demonstrates freedom of religion and the press. However, our recent hurried withdrawal from Afghanistan and the ensuing chaos illustrates how quickly fortunes can change in this volatile region. The resulting pandemonium underscores how much we need a steady...

[PALESTINIAN POLICEMEN face off against demonstrators in Ramallah in June, during protests following the death of Nizar Banat, a critic of the Palestinian Authority.] Hamas sources said that the crackdown was one of the fruits of the ongoing security coordination between the PA and Israel. The Palestinian Authority is continuing its crackdown on political activists and rivals in the West Bank, notwithstanding protests by Palestinian and international human rights organizations, Palestinians said on Wednesday. The clampdown, which has targeted dozens of Palestinians over the past few weeks, is emboldening Hamas, the PA’s main rivals, and threatening to undermine security and...
