Last month, activists packed the Chicago Teachers Union Center for the annual conference of the National Alliance Against Racist & Political Repression (NAARPR). Attendees gathered to discuss fighting ICE and confronting the Trump administration. Despite NAARPR’s relative obscurity—it was founded in 1973 to agitate for the release of Angela Davis and has since become a catch-all activist organization—the group’s conference featured several high-profile speakers, including Chicago mayor Brandon Johnson, who claimed to have inherited a “white supremacist system.” The event was hosted by the Chicago Teachers Union, one of Johnson’s most aggressive backers. Johnson’s appearance, along with that of several...

The City of Woodburn is committed to keeping our community safe while respecting the concerns of our community members," Mayor Frank Lonergan said. "Based on community input, pausing the Flock camera system is a prudent step."

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem visited the ICE facility on Tuesday and Portland Police Bureau Chief Bob Day noted that authorities had the vicinity cordoned off for the occasion. But the perimeter was removed on Wednesday, according to the report.

Pritzker said that Texas National Guard troops should, ‘stay the hell out of Illinois.’Fully embracing anarchy, Democrat leaders in Chicago, a sanctuary city; and in Illinois, a sanctuary state, are using every possible method to thwart federal immigration authorities from removing illegal aliens and curtailing rampant crime there.Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson issued an executive order Monday creating an ICE Free Zone, preventing ICE from using city property, such as parking lots, as staging areas, or for enforcement actions. During Thursday night’s mayoral debate, Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell said he wouldn’t jail aneight-time convicted offender and would rather learn about that person’s life story. Faced with a shockingly high number of prolific offenders severely harming the city of Seattle’s quality of life, Harrell’s comment was one of the most jaw-dropping, tone-deaf moments I’ve ever seen from a sitting mayor—and that bar is already subterranean in this city. Harrell delivered the kind of response that makes you wonder if he even lives in the same city the rest of us do. No jail time for eight-time repeat criminal The moderator...

Wednesday on CNN’s “OutFront,” Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass (D) said the Trump administration wanted to “go in primarily inner city communities and shoot people.” Host Erin Burnett said, “White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, speaking to law enforcement officials in Memphis, telling the officers that they, along with their guns, are now, quote, unleashed amid a federal crackdown on crime.” Miller said, “I see the guns and badges in this room. You are unleashed.”

Despite Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler having spent his whole career as mayor catering to left-wing extremists, Rose City’s extremists showed him zero love when he chose inexplicably to march among them during a “protest” Wednesday. From the moment Wheeler entered the scene — reportedly with his security detail close by — he was hassled, with the extremists pouring broken glass in front of his path, yelling in his face, cursing him out and calling him a “f–king fascist.”

VIDEO No matter how much liberal mayors try to spinelessly placate the rioters, it is never enough as you can see. Watch how both Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey as well as Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler end up being forced to perform the humiliating "Walk of Shame" by the enraged mob.

When some of the protesters and potential rioters showed up in downtown Portland, Oregon last night holding signs reading “Tear Gas Ted,” I’m pretty sure they were assigning that nickname to Mayor Wheeler, not issuing instructions to law enforcement. But the DHS officers deployed to protect the federal courthouse may have taken their signage seriously. In the wee hours of this morning, Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler was indeed tear-gassed by the feds while he stood at the front of the mob challenging the barrier erected around the courthouse. From the sound of things, he handled the gas pretty well....
