Portland Mayor Keith Wilson ordered the removal of police tape near a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility this week despite the federal government's call for the establishment of a perimeter around the ICE location, according to a report on oregonlive.com. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem visited the ICE facility on Tuesday and Portland Police Bureau Chief Bob Day noted that authorities had the vicinity cordoned off for the occasion. But the perimeter was removed on Wednesday, according to the report.

Wednesday on CNN’s “OutFront,” Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass (D) said the Trump administration wanted to “go in primarily inner city communities and shoot people.” Host Erin Burnett said, “White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, speaking to law enforcement officials in Memphis, telling the officers that they, along with their guns, are now, quote, unleashed amid a federal crackdown on crime.” Miller said, “I see the guns and badges in this room. You are unleashed.”

Despite Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler having spent his whole career as mayor catering to left-wing extremists, Rose City’s extremists showed him zero love when he chose inexplicably to march among them during a “protest” Wednesday. From the moment Wheeler entered the scene — reportedly with his security detail close by — he was hassled, with the extremists pouring broken glass in front of his path, yelling in his face, cursing him out and calling him a “f–king fascist.”
