A woman in Missouri was afraid of the effects from COVID-19 vaccines and chose not to get the shots, but later contracted the Delta variant of the novel coronavirus and died in the hospital. Deborah Carmichael, the mother of now-deceased 45-year-old Tricia Jones, is speaking out and urging those hesitant about the vaccine to get the jab after losing her daughter in June. She spoke to Kansas City's news channel Fox 4 WDAF-TV about her daughter's death and vaccine hesitancy in an interview broadcast this week. "She was afraid of the side effects, I think. You hear a lot of...

I overhear many conversations in my shuttle bus from the DFW airport and nobody is commenting about the election or what happened in DC.

My enduring memories of the pandemic in 2020 will be centered around one thing: masks. They have been central to my work over the past five months - but I never expected that I would become a target for internet trolls after proving how safe it is to wear a mask. I am a doctor working in the intensive care at Bradford Royal Infirmary, England so in the early stages of the COVID-19 outbreak...

While Republicans debate whether to repeal the Affordable Care Act outright or piecemeal, here are a few people they should meet: Paula, 52, a breast-cancer survivor; Namir, 35, with a rare tumor; Cameron, 44, who suffers from Parkinson’s; and Jason, 36, fighting a blood infection. They all received lifesaving treatment through ObamaCare; they, and others, will literally interpose their bodies in front of any attempt to reform or repeal it.

LAKE CITY, Minn. Police say there were two people inside the house prior to the arrival of the officers. A woman escaped before the officer was shot and she was not harmed, thanks to officer Schneider.

President's speech writers appear to have been informed by erroneous media reports, including an article on Slate.com, about a man who was dropped from his insurance plan and later died. President Barack Obama, seeking to make a case for health-insurance regulation, told a poignant story to a joint session of Congress last week. An Illinois man getting chemotherapy was dropped from his insurance plan when his insurer discovered an unreported gallstone the patient hadn't known about. "They delayed his treatment, and he died because of it," the president said in the nationally televised address. In fact, the man, Otto S....

So today I'm walking down a hall at the office. I pass by the cubicle of a co-worker who I know just on a very basic level. As I glance in, I can see over his shoulder that he's got on screen... ... this graphic.

Once again I listened to a news program and repeatedly heard about things done by a Mr. Bush. WHo the heck was he referring to? He couldn't have meant the current President. Because the proper name is President Bush. Not his father for he would be Former President Bush. Or Jeb for that matter because he is Governor Bush. In the same newscast they referred to Bill Clinton as President Clinton.

I heard this at 6:25 PM yesterday (Saturday), on Handel's show. I'm not sure whether or not it was a replay. A female schoolteacher called in to find out if she had any legal recourse against her female school principal. The teacher, who was upset nearly to the point of tears, related the following: She had invited a veteran to speak to her class, and she had asked the children to write letters to soldiers in Iraq. The principal had approved of all of this. Subsequently, a miserable insect of a parent complained, and the principal then called the teacher...
