A new statue of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin, foundress of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, the oldest Catholic college for women in the United States, was dedicated to today (June 28) The life-size statue has been placed near the entrance of the Church of the Immaculate Conception at the end of the main drive just east of the fountain. A new walkway with lighting and landscaping leads to the statue site, and benches and a plaque will be added soon.
