<p>July 9, 2003 -- Letter-writer Ian Myers ("Remember the War, Forget Paris!" July 7) opines that Post columnist Dick Morris "behaves like the typical stupid American we have grown to hate."</p>
<p>I've never regarded myself as stupid, nor would I like to think that I am "typical," but I am an American, and I've grown weary trying to reconcile France's deep "friendship" with America with France's arrogance and obstinacy.</p>
