[history]
July 9, 2003 -- Letter-writer Ian Myers ("Remember the War, Forget Paris!" July 7) opines that Post columnist Dick Morris "behaves like the typical stupid American we have grown to hate."
I've never regarded myself as stupid, nor would I like to think that I am "typical," but I am an American, and I've grown weary trying to reconcile France's deep "friendship" with America with France's arrogance and obstinacy.

Hm. I'd say those frogs don't need any of the consumer dollars of
this "typical" and "stupid" American.
In short, they can kiss my American a$$.

Amen.
It isn't so much that I am boycotting French products and not ever visiting France, but closing my mind, more or less to the constant, hateful, nasty anti-Americanism spewing from their every utterance. We've had to endure so much of it since the 50's that I just want to ignore them completely. Let them find their level in the Third World them pretend to lead.
