American Forces Press Service WASHINGTON, Sept. 21, 2009 – Afghan soldiers and police, working with international troops, in recent days have detained insurgents in southern and eastern Afghanistan and seized large amounts of weapons and explosives, military officials reported. 4/15/2008 - OSAN AIR BASE, South Korea (AFPN) -- Staff Sgt. Travis L Griffin was killed by an improvised explosive device in one of Baghdad's most violent neighborhoods April 3.
