SAN DIEGO - A judge in North County gives the maximum sentence to a man who killed an Oceanside police officer in 2003. It has been two months since a jury found Adrian Camacho guilty of killing Officer Tony Zeppetella during a traffic stop. That jury later recommended that Camacho receive the death penalty, and on Tuesday, Superior Court Judge Joan Weber endorsed that recommendation in a Vista courthouse.
