<p>LOS ANGELES - A fund-raiser allegedly defrauded charities supported by former President Clinton and some of Hollywood's most prominent celebrities out of more than $1.5 million, according to a lawsuit filed Thursday by the state attorney general.</p>
<p>The action filed in Los Angeles Superior Court seeks a permanent injunction barring Aaron Tonken and his associates from engaging in charitable fund-raising or disbursing donations from fund-raising events cited in the complaint until they account for the missing money.</p>
