This Thursday marks the 13th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 al Qaeda terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and United Airlines Flight 93. On that infamous day, 19 hijackers killed 2,996 innocents in a grand declaration of war against the United States, leaving a permanent scar in Manhattan’s skyline.
