(IsraelNN.com) Moments ago, the Israeli parliament voted to dissolve itself with no objections. The final vote was 84 in favor of a motion to dissolve the 16th Knesset, with zero opposed. The vote spares President Moshe Katsav the necessity of deciding to declare the Knesset disbanded as a result of a request from the acting prime minister, Ariel Sharon. New national elections will take place in the month of March, 2006.
