Federal agents seized nearly 60 pounds of cocaine and 2,100 pounds of marijuana in separate incidents Tuesday at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint on Interstate 19 south of Tucson. The first seizure happened about 10 a.m. at the I-19 traffic checkpoint near Amado, about 45 miles south of Tucson, after a Border Patrol agent noticed inconsistencies with a driver's immigration documents, according to a U.S. Customs and Border Protection press release.
