đșđžPray For The Peace of Jerusalem đźđ±(12/21/25)[Prayer]Countdown To ChristmasLuke 1:1-4Introduction 1 Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled[a] among us, 2 just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the word. 3 With this in mind, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I too decided to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, 4 so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught.New International Version (NIV) Holy Bible, New International...

One of the most dangerous illusions Americans are living under today is the belief that safety is ambient, existing automatically, everywhere, and at all times, by virtue of laws, norms, or declarations. For decades, we have been trained to assume that public spaces are fundamentally benign and that vigilance itself is somehow antisocial or unnecessary. That assumption is no longer valid. A steady stream of viral videos now documents what many quietly sense: sudden assaults in stores, flash-mob robberies, random attacks on public transport, group intimidation in ordinary places. These are not war zones or failed states. They are malls,...

An emotional meeting took place at a Sydney hospital between Rabbi Mendel Kastel, the brother-in-law of Rabbi Eli Schlanger, who was murdered in a terrorist attack in the city, and Ahmed al-Ahmad, the Syrian Muslim citizen who courageously intervened and neutralized one of the terrorists during the attack. Al-Ahmadâs attorney, Sam Issa, also attended the meeting, which was reported by Kan News. Speaking to Ahmed at his hospital bedside, Rabbi Kastel expressed his gratitude. âThank you-not only for saving lives, but for your courage,â he said. âThe fact that you come from a non-Jewish background, from a Muslim background, makes...

It's a fresh Monday morning in the quaint city of Amersfoort in the Netherlands, and a group of elderly guests are listening attentively to the words of an Australian physician. Dr Philip Nitschke, the first doctor in the world to administer a legal, lethal voluntary injection, and the inventor of the controversial Sarco pod, is presenting his latest gadget. The Australian-born founder of Exit International, the non-profit that provides guidance on assisted suicide, stirred controversy in 2024 when a woman ended her life using the so-called suicide pod, in apparently the first case of its kind. But undeterred by the...

As my late father used to say, we have more polls than gas stations in this country. I think of that every time that I see a new poll. It seems as if that's all they do in the media these days. Also, everyone seems to have their poll, i.e. Fox News, the Washington Post, etc. As long we are playing the game of polls, let's share this one. You are not hearing a lot about the Quinnipiac poll. Let's check with Matt Margolis: Democrats are sinking like a stone, and the new Quinnipiac poll makes it official: their congressional...

World War II Navy veteran Ira âIkeâ Schab, one of the dwindling number of survivors of the 1941 Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor, has died. He was 105. Daughter Kimberlee Heinrichs told The Associated Press that Schab died at home early Saturday in the presence of her and her husband. With his passing, there remain only about a dozen survivors of the surprise attack, which killed just over 2,400 troops and propelled the United States into the war. Schab was a sailor of just 21 at the time of the attack, and for decades he rarely spoke about the experience....

On a quiet night beneath a sky filled with stars, Almighty God's promised agape love came down. Almighty God, the Son clothed Himself in humility, lay in a manger, wrapped in flesh so that humanity could be wrapped in Almighty God's wondrous grace and agape love for all of Adam's fallen race. Christmas declared that agape love does not wait to be deserved; it is, and it has come for all! Jesus is Almighty God, the Father's agape love for all! Jesus is Almighty God, the Father's agape love for all! This agape love walked among us. This agape love...

Much of the mainstream news this week has been, in my opinion, partisan or devoted to less-than-significant matters. Does it really matter if the Trump-appointed board that saved the Kennedy Center from going to wrack and ruin has added his name to the building? Were you really surprised that Bill Clinton, not Trump, was pictured in the released Epstein files cavorting with women whose faces were blacked out because they were either minors or victims? Were you so daft that you thought Biden, who had these files, was protecting his arch-enemy Trump from exposure? On the internet, the focus was...

A massive outage has knocked out power to 130,000 homes and businesses across San Francisco, leaving at least one-third of the city in darkness. The power failure left a large swath of the northern part of the city in the dark on Saturday, beginning with the Richmond and Presidio neighborhoods and areas around Golden Gate Park. Social media posts and local media reported mass closures of restaurants and shops and darkened street lights and Christmas decorations. The San Francisco Department of Emergency Management said on X there were 'significant transit disruptions' happening citywide and urged residents to avoid nonessential travel...

The world's largest producer of mozzarella is closing one of its dairy plants in California due to the state's sky high operating costs. Leprino Foods, headquartered in Denver, Colorado, supplies cheese for fast-food pizza restaurants, including Domino's, Pizza Hut and Papa John's. For the last 115 years, the plant has operated in Lemoore, a small town deep within California's rural Central Valley. But now more than a century of history is coming to a close, with an estimated 300 people set to lose their jobs when the plan shutters early next year. To give people time to find new employment,...

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has met with his Polish counterpart Karol Nawrocki for the first time since Nawrocki took office in August. While Nawrocki has taken a less friendly approach towards Kyiv than his predecessor, Andrzej Duda, today he declared that his meeting with Zelensky was âa sign that we are togetherâ and was âbad news for Moscowâ, their common enemy. The Polish president said that he was âoptimisticâ about âbuilding good neighbourly relationsâ, while Zelensky likewise said that he âfeels very positiveâ following the talks, which he believes can âopen a new stage in relationsâ. After arriving in Warsaw...

People living in âan Islamic countryâ must âat least have to profess [theyâre a] devout Muslim.â Those living in âthe United States or a Western Europe,â however, can believe and do whatever they want. Hanson breaks down the difference between âa Judeo-Christian countryâ and âan Islamic countryâ where itâs âalmost impossibleâ to be âan apostate, an atheist, [or an] agnosticâ in those countries, on todayâs episode of âVictor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.â

...In a 2022 episode of the All of Us podcast, Romy admitted that, at one point, she had been smoking up to 25 joints of marijuana a day and was on antidepressants. 'I was pretty addicted,' she said. 'I hate marijuana. Addiction is very real. Let's say I was abusing it, for sure. 'Fifteen to 25 joints a day, just blitzed all the time. That's a very long time. Dude, I was really f***ed up, and now I smoke, let's say tops, three joints a day at the end of the night.'... She had been on and off the antidepressants,...

I. During a public address in October 2023, as Israel was preparing to launch its ground invasion of the Gaza Strip, Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu quoted a verse from the Bible that would echo through countless NGO reports, and would feature prominently in South Africaâs case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague: âRemember what Amalek has done to you.â To those uninitiated in Biblical mythology, the phrase may not sound particularly ominous, but Israelâs critics knew better. In the Bible, the people of Amalek are the ancient foes of the Israelites, and in...
