President Trump on Monday suggested that “a little fight with the wife” should not count when it comes to Washington, D.C., crime statistics amid his crackdown in the nation’s capital. “Can you imagine our capital being the most violent city? But it was — it was really bad, into a totally safe zone. It’s called a safe zone city. There’s no crime. They said, ‘Crime’s down 87 percent,’ I said, ‘No, no, no, it’s more than 87 percent, virtually nothing,’” Trump said during an event at the Museum of the Bible in D.C. “And much lesser things, things that take...

Democrats attacked Robert F. Kennedy Jr. hard during his congressional testimony last week, launching personal attacks on the health and human services secretary. But it’s not just congressional Democrats on offense, as his own family is blasting him as an “embarrassment.” Victor Davis Hanson breaks down the Kennedy family’s hypocrisy—especially considering their silence on Ted Kennedy’s Chappaquiddick scandal and JFK’s infidelities—on today’s episode of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.”

0.0001208% death rate leads to urgent crisis. Do you miss having a blue rag clamped over your mouth and nose? Frowns from the people wearing masks? Having to shuffle six feet apart from the line at the supermarket counter? In Governor Gavin Newsom’s California, the local health officials have you covered. Across California, ‘health officials’ are calling for bringing back masks. He’s mumbling Mamdani. Democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani dodged straightforward questions Monday on pressing issues facing the Big Apple — capping off days of mealy-mouthed politician speak that insiders argued showed the charismatic candidate’s shine is wearing off. The frontrunner in the mayoral election only had gobbledygook to offer on a range of topics during the public safety forum at Columbia Journalism School, even when simply asked if he supported school safety agents working in the city’s public schools. “I think it is an indication of this broken status quo that we have many schools where they will have a school...

The Trump administration is escalating its immigration operations in Democratic cities in the wake of a Supreme Court ruling giving the government the ability to conduct immigration stops based on an individual’s ethnicity or whether they speak Spanish. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Monday morning announced “Operation Patriot 2.0” in Massachusetts and announced “Operation Midway Blitz” in Chicago roughly an hour after the Supreme Court decision came down. The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 to lift a lower court’s ruling that barred racial profiling as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers roved Los Angeles. The timing of the...

A boat carrying Greta Thunberg towards Gaza has been set ablaze in a suspected drone strike off the coast of North Africa, witnesses have said. The 22-year-old Swedish climate firebrand is part of a controversial convoy of around 350 activists and aid workers, sailing on what they describe as a 'peaceful mission' to deliver supplies to Palestinians in Gaza. But reports have emerged overnight that one of the vessels – the so-called Family Boat, flying under a Portuguese flag and carrying members of the flotilla's Steering Committee, including Greta – was attacked 'by a drone and caught fire' off the...

For decades, US firms have enjoyed a strong foothold in Germany, particularly in the country’s western regions, which were under the control of the Western Allies after World War II. In the immediate postwar years, US cigarettes were so highly prized on the German black market that they effectively served as currency. […] Today, however, the climate has shifted. The image of the US in Germany has taken a major beating, raising questions about how US companies can maintain their reputation. Some US firms are now actively marketing their products as “Made in Germany.” […] Coca-Cola, perhaps more than any...

The arabists keep claiming that Arab "Palestine" massacres on Jews are a "response" to something - supposedly. Nevermind that racist Arab Palestine began massacring Jews [especially since] April 1920 [Nebi Musa riots], there were cries of "we will drink the blood of the Jews," and "Muhamme's religion was born with the sword." Actually, the genocidal call/aim of "adbakh al yahud," was invented in the 1920s by Haj Amin al Husseini, their leader, over a decade before he rushed to beg Nazis for alliance. Why target religious ultra Orthodox Talmudic Jews, conscientious objectors in their neighborhoods who even refuse to serve...

If you’ve never seen HBO’s “Succession,” I highly recommend it. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I found it to be a fascinating blend of fine writing, interpersonal drama, and cutthroat, high-stakes corporate maneuvering. The series was reportedly based on Rupert Murdoch, his family, and his News Corp.-Fox News empire.Murdoch’s family has no shortage of its own theatrics, as we have written about, but on Monday, many questions about the future of the conglomerate were answered:The Murdoch family on Monday resolved the legal battle over control of its media empire, which includes Fox Corp. and News Corp, the company...
