In a shocking case of corruption, Hamtramck, MI, councilmen Mohammed Kamrul Hassan and Muhtasin Rahman Sadman have been slapped with a bevy of felony and misdemeanor charges for alleged voter fraud during the 2023 elections. For context, Prosecutor Jeffrey Yorkey, who was appointed after AG Dana Nessel recused herself, pointed to numerous examples of forged absentee ballot applications and widespread measures to aid unqualified voters. Reacting to these allegations with tired race-baiting, Sadman dismissed the charges as “made-up” to tarnish the Muslim and Bangladeshi populations. Similarly, Hassan complained about damage to his reputation. The sweeping charges stem from an investigation...

Black community leaders in Cincinnati are furious over what they claim is a racial double standard in the aftermath of last month’s brawl in the city and want the white man involved to pay as well. As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, a group of black individuals smacked around a bald white guy at the intersection of West Fourth Street and Elm Street in downtown Cincy and beat him so bad that he could not get up. Then, a white woman got slugged by one of the cowards. Her head slammed down onto the concrete, and she lost consciousness. Blood...

President Donald Trump wants to clean up crime in Washington, D.C. by providing more federal agents and the National Guard to help out. Trump is trying to make the nation's capital safer. The Democrats should be welcoming the aid, but instead, because of their Trump Derangement Syndrome, they have to come out against it, even if that makes no sense. As is always the case with the left, what do they do next? They're throwing down the protest card. They're protesting an effort to make things safer. What are they going to do to make things better? Bang pots and...

Last month, a Republican Congress and President Trump achieved, if that is the word, a massive budget-reconciliation bill. As is more and more common, a Congress averse to accountability for particular votes crammed the measure full of many agenda items that the majority and the president wanted but chose to vote up or down on them as a package. Several provisions are relevant to American higher education. They involve the student-loan program, in which the federal government provides both subsidized and unsubsidized loans to both graduate and undergraduate students. Federal grants to needy students, e.g. Pell grants, are only modestly...

Ukraine says it has struck a critical oil-pumping station in Russia’s Bryansk region, igniting a large fire at a hub feeding the Druzhba pipeline to Europe. The Unecha facility also links to the Baltic Pipeline System-2, which carries Russian crude to Ust-Luga, the country’s second-largest Baltic oil port.

A man suspected in the 2008 slaying of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Juan Escalante was among 26 fugitives the U.S. has taken into custody from Mexico, the Department of Justice announced. Escalante, 27, was shot and killed that August in front of his mother’s house in Cypress Park, leading to the arrest of multiple suspects and the search for Roberto Salazar, who was charged with murder although he had not been apprehended. In its news release on Tuesday, the DOJ listed Salazar among the fugitives sent to the U.S. from Mexico to face federal and state criminal charges from...

Former Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) clerk Melissa Moorman sued her old employers for allegedly firing her because she reported on co-workers selling driver's licenses to illegal immigrants. According to court documents obtained by Fox News Digital, Moorman discovered in 2024 that two co-workers from the Department of Vehicle Regulation were selling documents to "nonresidents" without proper immigration screenings or testing. Her lawyers argued that she knew of the crime after being invited to participate. "The employees were being paid under the table," Moorman told WDRB News on Monday. "I immediately let my supervisor know about it." She also informed WDRB...

I LIVE in New York City. “Proud Democratic Socialist” Zohran Mamdani is likely to be my next mayor. I’m not happy about it. But I am outnumbered. Mamdani is popular. He won more primary votes than any other candidate in the city’s history. Minneapolis may also elect a socialist mayor. Why?! How deluded can voters be? In my new video, I explain why their socialist ideas are destructive. Mamdani mocks those of us who fear socialism. He says socialism just means that the state “provides whatever is necessary for its people to live a dignified life.” Sounds nice. But socialism...

Researchers expose problem with arm cuffs and how simple fixes could greatly improve accuracy. In A Nutshell * Standard arm-cuff blood pressure tests often read nearly 6 points too low, missing about 30% of people with high systolic blood pressure (140 mmHg or higher). * Cambridge researchers found the problem stems from a hidden drop in blood pressure in vessels below the cuff during the test. * In lab tests, low “downstream” pressure caused readings to be off by as much as 9–10 points. * Simple fixes, like redesigning cuffs, adjusting arm position, or using small correction factors, could make...

COGAT @cogatonline: 🚨WATCH: 5 Armed terrorists operated under the cover of a fake emblem of @WCKitchen placed on a vehicle in Gaza - and were eliminated from the air. The terrorists deliberately affixed the emblem and wore yellow vests in an attempt to conceal their activity and avoid being targeted, cynically exploiting the status and trust afforded to aid organizations. Representatives from #GazaCLA verified the information with the WCK organization, which confirmed that the vehicle seen in the Gaza Strip bearing the organization’s emblem had no connection to its operations.

A United Airlines flight was cancelled after a female passenger suffered an explosive bout of diarrhoea and vomiting that destroyed the aircraft's tiny bathroom. Writer and actor Meghan Reinertsen freely admitted she was to blame for the mid-air disaster, revealing she spent an hour and a half locked inside the lavatory during the July 2024 flight from Newark to Indianapolis. Reinertsen said the nightmare began moments before boarding her connecting flight home from Portugal, when she suddenly felt the first waves of what she later discovered was severe food poisoning.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was slammed on social media Monday after she dismissed President Trump’s efforts to combat crime in Washington, D.C. as "unhinged" with other top Democrats, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, receiving similar pushback. "As you listen to an unhinged Trump try to justify deploying the National Guard in DC, here's reality," Clinton posted on X on Monday, along with a DOJ press release from early January of this year, in conjunction with Trump’s press conference announcing the federalization of the nation’s capital to combat crime. "Violent crime in DC is at a 30-year low."...

As a macchiato devotee for many years, I have a few ideas on what a true version of the drink should be. It's one of those espresso drinks that's often misunderstood, even amongst Starbucks baristas. Depending on location, there's about a 50/50 chance of having to very politely request a re-do. The first thing to realize is that an authentic Italian macchiato consists of merely 2 espresso shots "marked" with a dash of frothy milk -- thus the name "macchiato," which means "marked" or "stained" in Italian. There's no caramel in the equation… But Starbucks has its own interpretations of...
