House Republicans finally just passed the Big Beautiful Bill. There’s a lot of good in it. But one thing that was notably missing? DOGE cuts. We answer those questions and more on today’s Rebelcast, with Daily Caller Editor-in-Chief Dylan Housman and Communications Director

Explanation: Jupiter is stranger than we knew. NASA's Juno spacecraft has now completed over 70 swoops past Jupiter as it moves around its highly elliptical orbit. Pictured from 2017, Jupiter is seen from below where, surprisingly, the horizontal bands that cover most of the planet disappear into swirls and complex patterns. A line of white oval clouds is visible nearer to the equator. Impressive results from Juno show that Jupiter's weather phenomena can extend deep below its cloud tops, that Jupiter's center has a core that is unexpectedly large and soft, and that Jupiter's magnetic field varies greatly with location....

Ping the film mavens here please? You know I have a b&w film in my brain. About an older man i. He is perhaps 40s who wants to marry an 19 year old girl after a whirlwind romance. Upper class. He is about her mother’s age. Mother makes it clear to him that mother is dying and she is relieved that someone will be there for her young naive daughter and gives permission. It was a bittersweet film. I cannot find it. It rings no bells. I do not know whether I

On Sunday, Johnson made an appearance on CNN’s State of the Union and told Jake Tapper that there are enough Republicans in the Senate to “stop the process until the President gets serious about the spending reduction and reducing the deficit.” WATCH: How many other Republican Senators do you think share your concerns and are willing to work to make major changes to this bill? I think we have enough to stop the process until the President gets serious about the spending reduction and reducing the deficit.

Listen, so long as we end up taking the House, which I fully anticipate that we will do, and we are...

According to one 2025 nongovernmental estimate, Russia has around 1,718 deployed nuclear warheads based on a triad of strategic delivery vehicles roughly consisting of 330 intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), 12 ballistic-missile submarines (SSBNs) with 192 submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBMs), and 58 strategic bombers. Russia has not exchanged official data with the United States about the structure of its strategic nuclear forces since 2023. Russian officials have stated, however, that Russia continues to abide by New START limits, thus maintaining rough parity with U.S. strategic nuclear forces. According to one 2025 nongovernmental estimate, the United States has around 1,770 deployed nuclear...

They burned Elon’s businesses to the ground. They vandalized Teslas across the country. They assaulted Tesla employees and Tesla drivers… …all because Elon found waste and fraud in government …and the GOP won’t even vote on the cuts I can’t wrap my head around this.

Alberta is careening toward a referendum with the possibility of a divorce between the conservative, oil-rich province and liberal Canada.Initiating the ReferendumLess than 24 hours after globalist Mark Carney and his leftist government won control on April 28, Alberta Premier Danielle Smith introduced a bill lowering the threshold needed to trigger a secession referendum. The bill, which has since passed, reduces the necessary number of signatures from 20 percent of voters who participated in the last general election to 10 percent, which equals somewhere around 200,000 names. It also increases the number of days allowed for collecting signatures by an...

This week, the Supreme Court continued to deliberate over what to do with the growing number of national or universal injunctions issued by federal district courts against the Trump Administration. The court has long failed to address the problem, and what I call “chronic injunctivitis” is now raging across the court system. Justices have only worsened the condition with conflicting and at times incomprehensible opinions. Both Democratic and Republican presidents have long argued that federal judges are out of control in issuing national injunctions that freeze the entire executive branch for years on a given policy. For presidents, you have...

A popular left-wing Gen-Z TikTok creator with millions of followers praised the deadly shooting of two Israeli diplomats in the U.S. capital, calling the gunman a “resistance fighter” — joining other far-left groups that have justified, excused, or openly celebrated the attack. On Thursday, social media personality Guy Christensen — known online as “YourFavoriteGuy” — posted a video voicing support for Elias Rodriguez, the man accused of killing two Israeli embassy employees during a private event in Washington, DC, last week. “I do not condemn the elimination of the Zionist officials,” Christensen said in the now-deleted clip, later urging viewers...

The top federal prosecutor in Los Angeles is ratcheting up immigration enforcement in jails as the Trump administration looks for more ways to remove more immigrants from sanctuary cities. U.S. Atty. Bill Essayli announced this week a pilot program dubbed “Operation Guardian Angel” intended to “neutralize” sanctuary state laws. The office identifies individuals with criminal records who have been deported and charges them with illegally reentering the United States, a federal crime. The tactic focuses federal resources at the main place sanctuary rules have impeded the work of immigration agents — county jails and state prisons. “Under the Trump Administration...

Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) was a prodigious composer, credited with 722 works that pushed the boundaries of music and ushered in the Romantic era. Yet, his personal life was marred by several health challenges. Beethoven continued working despite deafness (and what a curse that must have felt like for a composer of his caliber), gastrointestinal troubles, and jaundice. A year ago, scientists sequenced Beethoven’s genome from his hair. They found genetic risk factors for liver disease but nothing conclusive about his other ailments. Now, new research suggests lead toxicity might explain the composer’s suffering.

Donald J. Trump’s victory in 2024 was not an outlier. It was the culmination of continuous gains by Republicans in much of the country each time he has run for president, a sea of red that amounts to a flashing warning sign for a Democratic Party out of power and hoping for a comeback. The steady march to the right at the county level reveals not just the extent of the nation’s transformation in the Trump era but also the degree to which the United States now resembles two countries charging in opposite directions. Mr. Trump has reordered America’s political...
