Chinese scientists discovered a novel strain of bacterium with “unique abilities” that allowed it to thrive on the Tiangong Space Station, according to a report. The newly named Niallia tiangongensis was isolated by taikonauts from surface hardware on the China Space Station, according to a paper from the Beijing Institute of Spacecraft System Engineering published in the International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology. The novel strain is closely related to the terrestrial bacterium Niallia circulans, which is found in soil, sewage, food and human stool — but exhibits several mutations that could prove beneficial in the study of life...

America's natural-born population could edge toward extinction in just 500 years, startling new data suggests. Not taking into account immigration or major changes in death rates, statisticians predict this group could be cut by at least one-third every 75 years. Based on the current trends, recent Census data predicts the natural-born population in the US will be back to levels of the post-Civil War era in the next 300 years, with just 60million people. And around the year 2600, this population could dwindle to only 10million, a number not seen since the early 1800s when the country bounced back from...

Steve Bannon: “I got a problem. And it’s not with Andy Harris. Here’s what I’ve got a PROBLEM with…JOHNSON should not put the President of the United States in this situation…the President of the United States should not have to come to Capitol Hill…and have to WHIP VOTES…Johnson, in these rooms, tells everyone what they want to hear. That’s why people CAN’T STAND HIM…”

The hits just keep coming for Joe Biden’s presidency and the Democrat party. One of the details in Jake Tapper’s book, which came out today, is that Biden’s cabinet meetings were scripted, meaning that they were little more than theater. People in these meetings were more like actors than government officials. They also reportedly used cameras to cover any mistakes. If this is accurate, it basically means that Biden’s presidency was almost completely fake. LANDERNEAU, France - A small town in western France has set a world record for the greatest number of smurf-costumed people gathered in the same place, according to organisers, who counted over 3,000 this weekend. Landerneau, population 16,000, on the far western tip of France’s Britanny region, had tried twice before to wrest the record from Lauchringen, a town in Germany that managed to gather together a seemingly unassailable 2,762 smurfs in 2019. But on May 17, the French challengers finally pulverised that record, assembling 3,076 people clad and face-painted in blue, wearing white hats and singing smurfy songs. “We...

An undocumented Honduran mother living in South Florida says she was hit with a staggering $1.82 million fine from US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for failing to leave the country for two decades. The 41-year-old mother-of-three, identified only as Maria, has lived in the US since 2005. Her original asylum case was denied, and she has been under a deportation order since 2020. Maria said she was blindsided when she received a letter from ICE last month stating she owed $1,821,350 in civil penalties. 'They're charging me because I've been in this country illegally since 2005,' she told Telemundo...

On Tuesday a Biden spokesperson claimed Joe Biden’s last underwent a Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) blood test, a common way to detect prostate cancer, back in 2014. “President Biden’s last known PSA was in 2014. Prior to Friday, President Biden had never been diagnosed with prostate cancer,” a Biden spox said on Tuesday afternoon. Even CNN isn’t buying it. “He was President of the United States and didn’t get tested? I find this very surprising,” a CNN anchor said in disbelief.

Approximately 30% of the global population is affected by metabolic-associated fatty liver disease (MASLD), a condition that previously lacked targeted treatments. Researchers have now identified a genetic factor that exacerbates the disease, and remarkably, the FDA-approved drug that most effectively targets this factor is vitamin B3. A research team has elucidated the role of microRNA-93 (miR-93), which is expressed in the liver, as a key genetic regulator in the development and progression of MASLD. MiR-93 is a specialized RNA molecule expressed in hepatocytes that functions to suppress the expression of specific target genes. The team observed abnormally elevated levels of...

A majority of presbyteries in the PCUSA have now approved Amendment 24-C, according to the progressive Covenant Network of Presbyterians (CNP), giving denominational leaders yet another tool in their quest to cull conservatives from being ordained and installed as ministers, elders, and deacons by ensuring that “inclusion and diversity will play a more substantial role in the decision-making.” The amendment to G-2.0104b of the church’s Book of Order requires presbyteries and sessions to examine candidates on the principles of representation found in another provision, F-1.0403. That important paragraph—which already included “race, ethnicity, age, sex, disability, geography, or theological conviction”—will now...

The suspect in the California fertility clinic bombing was not a 'terrorist' or 'anti-life', but instead was 'anti-test tube baby', his father has claimed. Guy Edward Bartkus, 25, detonated a car bomb that rocked the American Reproductive Centers building in Palm Springs, east of Los Angeles. Authorities said Bartkus, who died in the explosion, left behind nihilistic writings that indicated views against procreation, an idea known as anti-natalism. But his father Richard Bartkus has challenged that description, suggesting his son is not a killer or terrorist, but should instead be called a 'suicide bomber.' 'A terrorist is out to kill...

The official ideology of academia is moonbattery, a fundamental component of which is self-hatred. So no one should be surprised that Smith College — a women’s college — just granted an honorary degree to a man who has waged war on women. The honoree is Richard “Rachel” Levine… …who has weaponized his medical position as a doctor to attack fairness in women’s sports, privacy in women’s intimate settings, and a generation’s ability to have children. Levine took part in the abomination that was the Biden Regime as assistant secretary for health at the Department of Health and Human Services. [H]e...

To say football was in Nasir Adderley's blood is an understatement. His grandfather, Nelson Adderley, played at Ohio State and in the Canadian Football League. His grandfather's cousin, Herb Adderley, was a cornerback for the Green Bay Packers who eventually landed a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame (and who was one of my dad's favorite players from his childhood, apparently). At just five years old, with his grandfather's encouragement, Nasir developed a passion for the sport himself. Nelson even predicted he'd play in the NFL one day, though sadly, the elder Adderley died just before Nasir started...

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals on Monday announced it is buying 23andMe out of bankruptcy for $256 million – taking with it the company’s extensive trove of genetic samples and data. It will acquire 23andMe’s Personal Genome Service, Total Health and Research Services and its large biobank, including genetic data of more than 15 million customers – raising privacy concerns from individuals who had willingly handed over the samples to completely different owners. All of 23andMe’s genetic testing services will continue uninterrupted, and the deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2025 pending bankruptcy court and regulatory approvals, Regeneron said....

President Trump on Tuesday named Space Force Gen. Michael Guetlein to lead his “Golden Dome” project to improve and integrate America’s missile defense technology — as House Republicans included $25 billion for the plan in the latest version of the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.” Trump said the plan would make good on Ronald Reagan’s “Star Wars” project in the 1980s to protect America from incoming nuclear missiles. “We will truly be completing the job that President Reagan started 40 years ago, forever ending the missile threat to the American homeland,” Trump said in the Oval Office. “The success rate...
