...With the guidance of former Nazi German munitions experts, Nasser expanded Egypt's chemical weapons program to include the production of mustard gas, chlorine, phosgene, and according to several intelligence estimates, even advanced nerve agents. A short four years later, Egypt deployed this new class of weapons in January 1967 on the small northern Yemeni village of Kitaf, located within the vicinity of the Yemeni tribal opposition's cave headquarters.International media, whose attention had already been drawn to South Arabia by the continuation of hostilities, wasted little time in shining the spotlight and launching full-scale journalistic inquiry into Egypt's use of chemical...

Across Europe, the job market has been shifting, leading to an uncomfortable situation for the younger generation. Gen Z workers born between 1997 and 2012 enter jobs faster than any cohort before them, but they leave them faster and often not by choice. A recent study reveals that Gen Z employees are terminated at noticeably higher rates than older generations. However, a deeper and more systemic issue is breaking down between generations, expectations, and what is actually termed “professional” in 2025. And Europe is struggling with inflation, stagnant wages, and a post-pandemic reckoning that may be the perfect storm for...

Apparently, nobody’s watching the watchmen. Private security guards hired by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority to staff subway stations, and act as deterrents to would-be turnstile hoppers, have instead been lending a helping hand to the Big Apple fare-beaters. The Post recently observed Allied Universal Security Services guards inside the Herald Square station holding the emergency doors open on two different occasions to let a stream of scofflaws through. ... Several commuters could be seen walking up to the gate, and exchanging words with the guard, who then let them in. Whenever the guard opened the door, other fare-evaders would make...

CNN panelist and Democrat strategist Lis Smith has sparked backlash after appearing to admit on-air Donald Trump’s criminal trials were designed to upend his reelection. Ms Smith made the remarks during a recent episode of CNN's The Arena with Kasie Hunt. "Like we [Democrats] resisted so hard between 2017 and 2024, we impeached the guy, like, prosecuted him, convicted him on 34 felony counts, and guess what? He still got elected," she said. Republican strategist and fellow CNN panellist Scott Jennings immediately called Smith out on-air for saying the quiet part out loud. "Everybody who now touts the 34 felonies,...

Our Founding Fathers left us many wonderful works with which to learn more about their lives and beliefs, many of which are in the form of a multitude of letters written to other people or specific-topic-based works. Perhaps the best well-known topic-based work of the Founders is the Federalist Papers, produced by three Founders over the course of some months. Benjamin Rush did something different though, producing a short autobiography about his own life. I do believe there are others who had autobiographies as well but I think they were exceedingly rare among the Founding generation. I suspect very few...

It could happen in the next millisecond or 100 years from now. And, in the aftermath, all other problems—personal and societal—go away. Think about it: No more rigged elections, rampant...
