RUSH: If you’re just joining us, ladies and gentlemen, I’m fit to be tied today. I’ve had it with the constant drumbeat of negativity, enraged, irrational madness that embodies itself in a hatred of George W. Bush by a bunch of people that have not the slightest clue what they would do differently about anything. Jimmy Carter is engaging in traitorous conduct in my opinion with an interview that he has granted to der Spiegel magazine, and I guess he’s got a new book out. Let’s pick up this interview where we last left it, at the conclusion of the...

Sen. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said Sunday that the New Year’s Day attack in New Orleans shows Kash Patel “should not be confirmed” as President-elect Donald Trump’s pick to lead the FBI. Schiff told NBC News’ “Meet the Press” that the terrorist attack “underscores” why it’s important to have an FBI director “that has experience, has judgment, that has character, that will prioritize defending the country against the violence we saw in New Orleans or the violence we saw on Jan. 6.” Schiff added that the Senate should not confirm “someone whose top priority is political vendettas, who believes in Deep...

For Mother Nature, biological sex isn’t always an either-or proposition. Some species come with simultaneously functioning female and male organs. Others change from female to male or vice versa, depending on need or surrounding conditions. The reasons behind this fluid mobility are varied: Some are natural processes that offer a species reproductive flexibility, while others aren’t so natural, often sparked by rising global temperatures. Here are 11 creatures that offer a fascinating glimpse into the many ways sex can develop and change.

Senator Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) questioned if deporting everyone in the United States illegally was “realistic” Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” Host Kristen Welker said, “Let’s talk about the Republicans’ agenda. When I spoke to President-elect Donald Trump he said his mass deportation plan was his top priority. He wants to deport everyone who is here illegally. Do you support that plan to deport everyone who is here illegally?” Thune said, “Well I think certainly there are categories, people who have committed crimes. There are over a million people that the current administration had targeted for deportation. So...

Former Trump White House Chief Advisor Steve Bannon is calling on the president-elect to rescind the Presidential Medal of Freedom that was given to left-wing billionaire financier George Soros by President Biden on Saturday. Soros was one of 19 recipients of the nation’s highest civilian honor after President Biden nominated him on Friday. Other recipients included Hillary Clinton, actor Michael J. Fox, children’s science presenter Bill Nye and four people who received the word posthumously, including Robert F. Kennedy Sr. and George Romney. While Soros, 94, did not attend Saturday’s ceremony, his son Alex accepted the prestigious award on his...

I just received word that my father was in a serious car accident. They had to do emergency surgery for an internal bleed. He's extubated and in step-down now. One of my step sisters was able to talk to him. He's communicating but in pain and exhausted. It's good news that he's talking, but the man is 86. If you guys have any pull with the big guy upstairs, I'd appreciate it. CC

The alarming 29% rise in Channel crossings since Labour came to power is a stark indictment of their weak and misguided approach to illegal migration. More than 23,000 migrants have made the dangerous journey since they scrapped the Conservative government’s Rwanda scheme. This surge isn’t just a statistic. It represents thousands of lives put at risk by Labour’s inability to tackle the people-smuggling gangs profiting from human misery. They have lost control of the borders and these criminals are exploiting desperate migrants, packing them into flimsy dinghies powered by inadequate engines. The result? More than 70 lives tragically lost this...

VIDEORemember all the liberal lectures about how January 6, 2021 was an insurrection despite no guns carried by the supposed insurrectionists? Well, leftists are now calling for an insurrection, according to their own terminology, on January 6, 2025, in order to prevent Donald Trump's election as President being certified in Congress based on an obscure section of the Fourteenth Amendment pertaining to Civil War Confederates. They tried the same shtick to keep Trump's name off the ballot in Colorado but that was rejected in a UNANIMOUS decision by the Supreme Court. However, as you can see here, that is not...

While Trump calling Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau "Governor of America's 51st state" was intended as a joke, Trudeau is reportedly lobbying Trump to name him Governor of Canada. "Look, in Canada's parliamentary system I'm toast," the Prime Minister lamented. "Polls show the Liberal Party in third place with only 16% voter support. Pierre Poilievre's Conservatives are at 45%. Jagmeet Singh's New Democrats are at 21%. The Atlantic Liberal caucus of my own Party is demanding my resignation." Atlantic caucus chair and Nova Scotia MP Kody Blois insisted "it is no longer tenable for Trudeau to continue to lead our...

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) claimed Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that he and other top Democrats did not mislead the American public about President Joe Biden’s decline in mental acuity. Host Kristen Welker said, “Obviously, there has been a lot of focus on President Biden’s role in this. You were, obviously, in close contact with President Biden well before the public tuned into that debate that ultimately led to him stepping down. I want to play you a little bit of something you said last year. Take a look. In 2024, on Capitol Hill, Schumer said, “I...

A U.S. District Judge denied a Jan. 6 rioter’s request to attend President-elect Trump’s inauguration later this month, citing concerns over the Capitol insurrection which incited hours of chaos and violence in the nation’s capital. Russell Taylor, who is on probation after pleading guilty to obstructing an official proceeding, petitioned the court for permission to travel outside of the Central District of California to attend the ceremony for President-elect Trump after receiving an invitation from lawmakers. Judge Royce Lamberth denied the request in a Friday court order, reflecting on the event that took place after the 2020 presidential election. “Mr....

With the passing of Jimmy Carter at the age of 100, there is a scurry to rewrite the history of our 39th president. According to the popular narrative, Carter faced economic and foreign policy challenges, yet his accomplishments, such as the Camp David Accords, are remembered, as well as his lifelong dedication to humanitarian efforts and winning the Nobel Peace Prize. Carter’s true legacy is quite different. He was a godly man who was unprepared to serve as leader of the world’s superpower. His good — but naïve — intentions too often created disastrous results for our nation. His administration...

Daily Readings from the USCCBWhen Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, in the days of King Herod, behold, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, saying, "Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star at its rising and have come to do him homage." Matthew 2:1–2The Magi were most likely from Persia, modern-day Iran. They were men who regularly engaged in a study of the stars. They were not Jewish but were most likely aware of the popular belief of the Jewish people that a king would be born who would save them. These Magi...

Russia-appointed officials in occupied Crimea have announced a regional emergency as oil was detected on the shores of Sevastopol, the peninsula's largest city. Fuel oil spilled out of two stricken tankers nearly three weeks ago in the Kerch Strait, about 250 kilometres from Sevastopol on the southwest of the peninsula. "Today a regional emergency regime has been declared in Sevastopol," regional Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev wrote on Telegram. Oil was found on four beaches in the region and was "promptly eliminated" by local authorities working together with volunteers, Razvozhaev said. "Let me emphasise: there is no mass pollution of the coastline...

A contingent of 150 Guatemalan soldiers has arrived in Haiti, tasked with helping to restore order amid the chaos wrought by armed gangs. A first group of 75 soldiers arrived on Friday and another 75 on Saturday, all drafted from the military police, according to Guatemala's government. A state of emergency has been in place across the Caribbean nation for months as the government battles violent gangs that have taken control of much of the capital Port-au-Prince. The forces are in Haiti to boost a United Nations-backed security mission led by Kenya that has so far failed to prevent violence...
