Daily Readings from the USCCBWhen the magi had departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Rise, take the child and his mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you. Herod is going to search for the child to destroy him.” Matthew 2:13The most glorious event ever to take place in our world also filled some with hatred and rage. Herod, who was jealous of his own earthly power, felt greatly threatened by the message shared with him by the Magi. And when the Magi failed to return to Herod...

"A core reflex in these decades of postmodern insanity was constant rejection of things we thought we knew in favor of New, Improved Beliefs packaged from above.” — Matt Taibbi, Racket News. I would guess that you’re feeling as if anything might happen now. It’s hard to rule out even the possibility that we could all be vaporized before moving onto the next mundane chore of the day. The world order is dangerously in flux. America’s Woke-Jacobin “Joe Biden” regime was defeated in the 2024 election, but they were apparently just a front for the sinister entity we call the...

Michelle Obama was heavily criticized for a New Year's message shared with her followers just weeks ahead of Donald Trump's return to the Oval Office. The former first lady took to Instagram on Friday afternoon with a minute-and-a-half-long video message wishing her followers a happy holiday season as 2024 officially comes to a close. But the internet wasn't so keen about her words of encouragement for the American people. The video (snip) showed the former first lady against a white background as she began to address the lens. 'Happy holidays!' she gleefully began. She then took a few moments to...

Russia suffered a major setback after Ukrainian missiles reportedly destroyed a key army military command post in Kursk. HIMARS missiles reportedly took out the headquarters of Russia's elite 810th Marine Brigade, which was hidden in an abandoned five-storey civilian building in Lgov. The devastating attack took place overnight on Christmas Day and caused heavy casualties, killing 17 marines. Lieutenant Colonel Salim Pashtov, one of the brigade's senior officers, was reportedly among those killed. Video footage purportedly of the missile strike shows a huge mushroom cloud of flames and smoke rising into the night's sky on the horizon. Further images shot...

CORONA DEL MAR, Calif. — Is your New Year’s resolution to lose some weight? A new poll finds many people may actually achieve their goals in 2025 — with a little help from their pharmacist. More than a quarter of Americans are planning to turn to GLP-1 medications like Ozempic and Wegovy to reach their 2025 weight loss goals. According to researchers with Tebra, who surveyed over 1,000 Americans in November 2024, there’s now a growing acceptance of pharmaceutical interventions for weight management, particularly among younger people. Specifically, Gen Z is skipping the gym and going straight to the pharmacy,...

The Silicon Valley immigration priority was not the topic I thought would explode and fracture the tenuous MAGA alignment with the New Big Tech group represented by Elon Musk and his billionaire network. However, we learn more every day. This is a jaw-dropping moment to watch unfold as a very influential sector of the political discourse begins a full-frontal attack against those who are pointing out how the tech community abuse H1B visas to replace American workers. In the background, of course, is the context of widespread immigration policy fraud being one of the priorities for the average Trump supporter....

The Department of Homeland Security Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (DHS-CISA) released an issuance entitled “Mobile Communications Best Practice Guidance” on December 18, 2024. From the classic cybersecurity practitioner’s perspective, it was full of technical guidance on how to make the mobile computing environment secure. Having been part of the combined, inter-agency response team for several broad enterprise breaches over the past 20 years, my interest was piqued. These documents take months and months of analysis, staffing, and inter-agency approval before publishing. Reading through the DHS CISA document, there were several flags that began to jump out at me. First,...

Five months after their shock offensive into Russia, Ukrainian troops are bloodied and demoralized by the rising risk of defeat in Kursk, a region some want to hold at all costs while others question the value of having gone in at all. Battles are so intense that some Ukrainian commanders can’t evacuate the dead. Communication lags and poorly timed tactics have cost lives, and troops have little way to counterattack, seven front-line soldiers and commanders told The Associated Press... Some front-line commanders said conditions are tough, morale is low and troops are questioning command decisions, even the very purpose of...

The woman who baked a 'poisoned' Christmas cake that killed her two sisters and a niece has been pictured for the first time. Zeli Terezinha Silva dos Anjos, 61, from Torres, Brazil, prepared a traditional Christmas cake for a festive family meal on December 23. However, her sisters Maida, 58, and Neuza, 65, and Neuza's daughter Tatiana, 43 all died shortly after eating the cake. Three other family members, including Zeli herself and a 10-year-old boy, fell ill and were also hospitalised. Now, it has emerged that traces of the toxic metal arsenic were present in the bodies of the...

Ever since The Post broke the story of Hunter Biden’s laptop in October of 2020, it’s been obvious that Joe Biden was involved in his son’s influence peddling schemes. The president’s serial denials were as credible as Bill Clinton’s claim that “I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky.” Biden’s most ridiculous lie was that he never even discussed Hunter’s foreign business with him. Laptop messages and photos showing Joe meeting with some of Hunter’s skeezy clients proved otherwise. Revelations that the son got millions from Ukraine energy company Burisma, despite knowing nothing about energy or Ukraine,...

Disgraced ex-Sen. Bob Menendez has asked to postpone his upcoming sentencing until after his cancer-ridden wife’s trial wraps up because the overlap “is too much to ask of any man.” The 70-year-old New Jersey Democrat who was forced to resign following his conviction this summer is scheduled to learn his fate on Jan. 29 where he will face what could amount to a term of life imprisonment. But his wife Nadine Menendez, 57, is slated to go on trial in the same case on Jan. 21 and his sentencing falling in the middle of her trial runs the risk “of...

Clash Report: Chad ends military cooperation with France and strengthens ties with Türkiye, giving France until January 31 to withdraw its troops. This shift highlights France’s declining influence in Africa, while Türkiye continues to expand its presence, providing Chad with military training and defense technology. Since 2003, Türkiye has opened 44 embassies across Africa, making cooperation with the continent a strategic priority in its foreign policy. ✍️ @beholdisraelchannel

Democrat Florida State Representative Hillary Cassel switches parties to join Republicans; calls out the Democrat Party for “extreme progressive voices” pushing anti-Israel rhetoric. “As a proud Jewish woman I have been increasingly troubled by the Democratic parties failure to unequivocally support Israel and its willing to tolerate extreme progressive voices…” ✍️ @beholdisraelchannel

Reps. Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene called on Congress Thursday to release the names of current and former members on a secret list of lawmakers that have used taxpayer money to settle sexual harassment claims. “Congress has secretly paid out more than $17 million of your money to quietly settle charges of harassment (sexual and other forms) in Congressional offices,” Massie (R-Ky.) wrote on X. “Don’t you think we should release the names of the Representatives? I do,” he added. Massie’s suggestion was quickly endorsed by Greene (R-Ga.). “Yes. I want to release the congressional sexual slush fund list,”...

Attorney General Ken Paxton secured a victory for President-elect Donald Trump’s border-security agenda during a hearing today before a federal judge. The hearing was called at Attorney General Paxton’s request to uncover potential legal violations committed by the Biden Administration after recent reports that segments of the border wall were auctioned off for pennies on the dollar. The Biden Administration confirmed to the court today that it will agree to an order preventing the outgoing administration from disposing of any further border wall materials over the next 30 days—allowing President Trump to use those materials as he sees fit. This...

We're told that nobody is encouraging children to be transgender; that this generation of kids is suddenly coming to that realisation by itself. There’s an excellent article on the 4thwavenow website about how there is no historical precedent for the transgender child’s explosion into the early 21st century. Yet despite this, here zie is, in ever increasing number – and we need to have a careful look at the reasons behind that.

The election may be over, but that hasn’t stopped Kamala Harris from continuing to spin tales about her background. In a post on X, Harris claimed, “When I was growing up, Kwanzaa was a special time of reflection with family and friends. Let us carry the wisdom of the seven principles with us as we work to build a brighter future. Happy Kwanzaa.”
