VIDEOIt is no mystery as to why FBI Director Christopher Wray is being fired and replaced by Kash Patel. Wray's own testimony before the Senate and House provides damning evidence why his firing is necessary. Listen to Wray reveal over and over again his evasions, obfuscations, deceitfulness and outright lies which more than justify his firing. No wonder Wray HATED testifying on Capitol Hill to the extent that he lied about needing to cut short a Senate hearing in order to go on a "business" trip when he was really traveling off to a vacation on his FBI jet.

Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) took a cautious approach to Kash Patel, President-elect Trump’s nominee to serve as head of the FBI, highlighting his support for current FBI director Chris Wray. “I think the president picked a very good man to be the director of the FBI when he did that in his first term,” Rounds told ABC “This Week” on Sunday. “When we meet with him behind closed doors, I’ve had no objections to the way that he’s handled himself, and so I don’t have any complaints about the way that he’s done his job right now,” the GOP senator...

For more than four decades before Donald Trump assumed the presidency, the FBI director was a position above politics. A new president might choose a political ally as attorney general, but the FBI director was different. An FBI director appointed by Richard Nixon also served under Presidents Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter. Carter’s choice remained on the job deep into Reagan’s second term, when Reagan moved him to head the CIA. Reagan’s FBI appointee served through the George H. W. Bush presidency and into the Bill Clinton administration. Clinton fired the inherited official—the first time a president ever fired an...

It's that time of year where we gather with Loved ones and "not so loved" ones. This will be an ongoing thread through the holidays where we can vent about those who we would rather not be around but are required to do so. Feel free to vent here about that special someone who manages to ruin your holidays, inlaws you abhor having over for dinner, and even that boss or co-worker who destroys the Xmas spirit.

The day after the election, an NBC News chart circulated on Instagram highlighting exit poll data showing that, roughly, the more education you had, the more likely you were to vote for Vice President Kamala Harris over President-elect Donald Trump. Some liberals used the occasion to look down upon the icky dummies who were too stupid to know they shouldn’t vote for Trump. Yet Trump’s victory was both definitive and diverse. He won broad swaths of the electorate, making significant gains in New York and California and winning over larger percentages of Latino voters and young voters than in 2020....

Former National Security Advisor John Bolton compared Kash Patel, President-elect Trump’s nomination for head of FBI, to one of the USSR’s most feared secret police chiefs, Lavrentiy Beria. “Trump has nominated Kash Patel to be his Lavrenty Beria,” Bolton said during an appearance on NBC News’ “Meet The Press” on Sunday. “Fortunately, the FBI is not the NKVD. The Senate should reject this nomination 100-0.” NKVD refers to the interior ministry and secret police of the Soviet Union, which was in place from 1934 to 1946.

Chanté and Rick McCoy III say their father, Richard McCoy Jr, was the man who identified himself as Dan Cooper when he boarded a Northwest Orient Airlines jetliner from Portland to Seattle in November 1971. “That rig is literally one in a billion,” Gryder said of the parachute, according to the Cowboy State Daily. He said FBI agents had visited the property of the McCoys’ mother, Karen, who died in 2020, last year. Agents searched “every nook and cranny”, according to Gryder, and the McCoys handed over the parachute. McCoy, a former military helicopter pilot who served in the Vietnam...

Daily Readings from the USCCB“Beware that your hearts do not become drowsy from carousing and drunkenness and the anxieties of daily life, and that day catch you by surprise like a trap. For that day will assault everyone who lives on the face of the earth. Be vigilant at all times and pray that you have the strength to escape the tribulations that are imminent and to stand before the Son of Man.” Luke 21:34–36“That day.” These two words are spoken twice in the passage above. To which day is our Lord referring? Clearly, He is referring primarily to the...
