Progressive Democrats always had it in them. Now they’re letting their murder flag fly proudly. Fewer than fifty days before a presidential election and two months after an assassin’s bullet narrowly missed Donald Trump’s head in Butler, Pennsylvania, a second attempt to kill the former president took place at his Florida golf course. The Biden-Harris supporting shooter was well known to FBI authorities as a radical felon illegally in possession of firearms back in 2019. The FBI closed the investigation without following up on credible information that might have incarcerated the shooter years ago. More recently, we saw a heavily...

This simulation shows a top-down view of how different light patterns in red and green are generated when fed with input from a waveguide on the left. Credit: Md Nafiz Amin =================================================================================== A new miniature spectrometer combines cutting-edge technology with affordability, offering high precision in fields such as astronomy and health diagnostics. This device promises to bring complex spectral analysis into more frequent use by reducing size and cost, without sacrificing performance. Spectrometers, tools for analyzing light, have been around since the time of 17th-century physicist Isaac Newton. They function by splitting light waves into their various colors, or spectra,...

This week, I wrote about polls that show the public is not buying the apocalyptic predictions of the imminent death of democracy unless Kamala Harris is elected president. Now, a new poll shatters another main talking point of pundits and the press. Democratic candidates, including Vice President Harris, have denounced voter identification laws as “Jim Crow 2.0” attacks on voters. A majority of voters have long supported these laws. According to a new Gallup poll, that majority is now a supermajority. Despite unrelenting attacks on these laws in the media, eight in ten Americans now support both laws: With less...

Donald Trump's shift at a Pennsylvania McDonald's was most popular with Gen Z, a new poll shows. The former President, known for his love of fast food, made headlines when he learned how to make fries at a branch in Feasterville-Trevose in Bucks County last weekend. The apprentice worker held an impromptu news conference via the drive-thru window, and used the opportunity to repeat his claims that Kamala Harris has been lying about working for the fast-food chain in her college years. Harris has referenced her McDonald's stint multiple times. In an August 31 post on X, formerly Twitter, she...

EXCLUSIVE: British lord condemns renewal of Vatican deal with Communist ChinaLord Alton told LifeSiteNews that 'the Vatican’s silence on human rights and religious freedom in China is profoundly disappointing and dangerously counterproductive.'VATICAN CITY (LifeSiteNews) — As the Holy See renews it secretive and “sellout” deal with Communist China regarding the appointment of bishops, China experts and leading human rights campaigners have warned that it will only “embolden” Beijing to “further intensify its repression” of Catholics in China.“The Vatican continues to engage in the pretense that it has an ‘agreement’ with the Chinese Communist Party,” said Steven Mosher, president of the...

Now they want to politics Muslim-less in India,” Siddiqui said during an interaction with DH in the run up to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections. “We have six big parties in Maharasthra, however, none of the parties nominated any Muslim candidates in the Lok Sabha polls," he said referring to Maha Yuit (NDA) and Maha Vikas Aghadi (I.N.D.I.A.). That’s more Corvettes than Toyota Supras, Nissan Zs, and Lexus RCs combined. In fact, the most popular trims outsold those rival sports cars...

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Thursday on CNN’s “The Source” that she found it “so distressing” Americans would vote for former President Donald Trump. Clinton said, “Here we are. It’s 12 days before the election of the President of the United States of America. It’s absolutely bonkers that we are talking about what he might do to violate the law to punish his political opponents. I mean, this is so un-American. I’ve been around longer than you have, and I’ve agreed and disagreed with presidents, Democrats and Republicans over a lot of decades. I was on the impeachment...

The skull of an Indiana teen was found in the wall of a home near Chicago. Officials in Kane County have solved a decades-old cold case involving a human skull discovered in 1978. A couple in Batavia found the skull inside a wall while remodeling their home. Initial testing at the time indicated the skull had been there for a significant period. In 2021, the Batavia Police Department and Kane County Coroner reopened the cold case, determined to identify the remains. A Texas company specializing in forensic genetic genealogy employed modern DNA technology to identify the remains as those of...

Welcome to Thunderdome, or as David Axelrod calls it, Word Salad City. Kamala Harris’s closing argument played out in a CNN town hall last night, and it wasn’t much of an argument at all. On question after question, Harris reverted to talking points that often had little or nothing to do with the query posed to her. On the border? No answer on why the administration took so long to act. On taxpayer funded benefits for illegal migrants? I was a prosecutor. On a border wall? It’s a dumb idea that I now say is a good idea. On taxes?...

‘Make America Great Again’ is a rallying cry for Americans to lift the country up despite the weight of Deep State opposition. A paradigm shift occurs when there is a radical change in thinking from an accepted point of view to a new one. Changes in social consciousness are not easy. Institutions defend orthodoxy with all their assorted powers, while new ideas receive support only from iconoclasts who are often dismissed as kooks or disparaged as domestic enemies. Prevailing opinion is like a heavy boulder sitting in the valley between several steep hills. For a novel idea to succeed, its...

Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign is in trouble, which means we may be in for one hell of a post-election fireworks show. If she loses the presidential election, there will be intra-Democratic Party in-fighting unlike anything we’ve seen before. The recriminations will be extraordinary. There will be finger-pointing, backstabbing, excuse-making and an air of panic that will make even the sleazy, widespread gossip-peddling that followed the late Senator John McCain’s defeat in 2008 look tame. How do we know this will happen? Because it has happened before, albeit on a smaller scale. In December 2019, when Harris dropped out of...

The Minority Teachers for Illinois Scholarship Program violates the 14th Amendment, alleges the Pacific Legal Foundation (PLF) in its Tuesday complaint on behalf of the American Alliance for Equal Rights in the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois. The racial criteria included in the program have been "excluding students from a state-funded scholarship program because of their race" since its inception, per PLF's press release. The Minority Teachers for Illinois Scholarship Program is not a private initiative; it is funded directly by appropriations from the state budget. The program received $1.9 million, $4.2 million, and $7...

Why is Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger quietly raising $5 million to “identify local election officials” who might challenge election results.. Georgia, the site of massive election misinformation, questionable results, incomplete audits and a mysterious come-from-behind razor-thin win by Joe Biden in 2020, appears to be at it again. Or perhaps we should say Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is at it again. Kylie Jane Kremer brought the matter to our attention through a series of posts on X. As Kremer notes, “Raffensperger sent an email, in a private capacity, that went to a list of trial lawyers...

During the Covid pandemic, the University of North Carolina (like many institutions of higher learning) went test-optional. However, the Board of Governors rightly reversed that policy this year, re-establishing a requirement that some students applying to UNC submit a score from a standardized college-entry exam and recognizing the SAT and ACT for that purpose. So far, so good (though UNC should really re-expand its testing requirement to all students). The experiment of going testing-optional has proven to many universities the benefits of using admissions exams as part of a holistic admissions process. But the SAT and ACT are no longer...

Former President Donald Trump told his audience at a Turning Point Action rally in Las Vegas, Nevada, Thursday night that he is leading Vice President Kamala Harris “by so much” that he is expanding the electoral battleground. Trump shared that Harris is on a downward slide that was even worse than President Joe Biden’s, which forced him out of the race so she could ascend to the top of the ticket. “Now she’s imploding worse than him. She’s actually imploding, if you take a look, because look, I’m not supposed to say it, but we are leading by so much,”...
