My wife and I went to vote early yesterday in my east Texas town, and it was a first for us. We have never had to stand in line to vote - ever. And, the line was long and full of people I know are republicans. I hope this is an indicator or the outcome. But, as I always say, winning the vote is one thing. Actually getting sworn in is another.

Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) claimed Tuesday on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” that “many Republicans” will cast their vote for Vice President Kamala Harris because former President Donald Trump is “vulgar.” Sanders said, “Liz Cheney and I disagree on every single thing. You name it we disagree. But one area where we don’t disagree, is she happens to believe in American democracy and the rule of law. That is why she has been so opposed to Donald Trump and supporting Kamala Harris. And I respect that. She has taken enormous flack from the Republicans, her fellow Republicans. But what I think...

President Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America, will hold a Believers and Ballots Faith Town Hall with Lt. Governor Burt Jones in Zebulon, Georgia on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 3:00PM EDT. While Kamala Harris has a troubling history of affiliating with individuals and organizations linked to antisemitism, President Trump has stood firmly for religious freedom and the protection of all religions. On Holocaust Remembrance Day, Harris chose to attend the inauguration of Honduras' President Xiomara Castro and Vice President Salvador Nasralla, who has become notorious for his antisemitic remarks. Harris has also been connected...

Maria Shriver moderated a series of conversations with Kamala Harris and Liz Cheney in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania on Monday. Someone cruelly mocked it as a roundtable of women whose husbands knocked up their nannies. To do that, however, you have to leave Cheney out of the picture. Her participation in the roundtable is its own form of punishment. Below is a clip from one of Monday’s events. Vice President Harris advised the audience: “We cannot despair.” Why is this counsel necessary? One may infer that the joy has temporarily gone missing from the Harris presidential campaign. Not to say...

Denny's says it's closing 150 of its lowest-performing restaurants in an effort to turn around the brand's flagging sales. About half of the closures will happen this year and the rest in 2025, the company said during a meeting with investors Tuesday. The locations weren't revealed, but the restaurants represent about 10% of Denny's total. Stephen Dunn, Denny's executive vice president and chief global development officer, said in some cases the restaurants are no longer in good locations. "Some of these restaurants can be very old," Dunn said during the investor meeting. "You think of a 70-year-old-plus brand. We have...

The United States Treasury reported a $1.833 trillion budget deficit for the fiscal year ending September 30. This marks the third-highest deficit on record, but it is solely due to government spending. The highest deficit happened in 2020 during the disaster of COVID, and second behind is the clean-up year of 2021 when the deficit dropped to $2.772 trillion. Bidenomics is nearly as harmful as global one-in-a-lifetime disaster. The deficit widened 8% or $138 billion from the reported $1.695 trillion in 2023. The department stated that a large chunk of spending went to the reversed decision to forgive $330 billion...

MADISON, Wis. -- The first day of in-person absentee voting in Wisconsin saw a higher than expected turnout, according to the Wisconsin Elections Commission. It said Tuesday that it led to a temporary slowdown in its WisVote system, which some clerks rely on to manage voting logistics. According to the WEC, the system is essential for printing labels that are affixed to the outside of in-person absentee certificate envelopes. Clerks can still manually write the necessary information on the envelopes if needed. However, the delay was quickly addressed by the WEC staff, who worked to enhance the system's capacity to...

Increasingly, Western governments want their subjects citizens to be utterly compliant—and pliant—little state-loving automatons. Or they will threaten to incarcerate you in favor of illegal aliens, who they know are indebted to them…and ergo almost certain to vote for them in the next election. This is certainly the case in formerly jolly old England. It is what Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are now, as well. And America is racing in the same direction. This will be America, too, after November 5th—or seventh—or ninth—or 20th—or whenever Democrats have conjured up enough votes to steal a second consecutive election from Donald...

What is it that outweighs the misery that Hamas causes Gazans? Hamas has done everything it can to maximize harm to the Palestinians in Gaza. Its attack on October 7, when 6,000 Hamas members smashed into Israel and proceeded to rape, torture, mutilate, and murder Israelis, led ineluctably, as the terror group knew it would, to a ferocious counterattack by the IDF that would lead to many civilian casualties and the destruction of much of the infrastructure in Gaza. Hamas has always embedded its fighters, weapons, and rocket launchers in civilian areas and buildings — including schools, hospitals, mosques, and...

Gov. Tim Walz, D-Minn., blasted billionaire X and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, calling him a “dips—” during a rally in swing state Wisconsin on Tuesday with former President Barack Obama. “I’m not going to waste all the time on him,” Vice President Harris’ running mate told the crowd in Madison, Wisconsin. “I’m going to talk about his running mate,” he said. “Elon Musk.” The remark was met with laughs from attendees. “Seriously? Where is Sen. Vance?” Walz asked. “Elon’s on that stage, jumping around, skipping like a dips— on these things,” he said, likely referencing Musk’s appearance at a rally...

Prominent Michigan Democrats who are angry at President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris over the war in the Middle East are demanding an apology and explanation after a former Michigan Democratic congressional candidate was removed from a Harris campaign event. Ahmed Ghanim, who unsuccessfully ran to replace Rep. Haley Stevens (D-MI) in the Oakland County congressional district north of Detroit this year, described being removed from Harris's event with former Republican Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney on Monday in Royal Oak despite RSVPing and clearing Secret Service security. "After being seated and sitting there for minutes, a lady comes...

Palestinian civilians attempting to flee the intense fighting in the northern Gaza Strip are reportedly being shot at by Hamas terrorists trying to stop their escape. Cpl. Shai Gilboa, a medic in the IDF’s 9th Battalion, told Israel’s Channel 12 that Hamas terrorists are resorting to gunfire to prevent civilians from following Israeli evacuation orders to safer zones. Gilboa described how wounded civilians approached her unit for medical help after being fired upon while trying to flee. “Our battalion was sent to apply military pressure on Hamas, who were holding the civilians and stopping them from evacuating,” said Gilboa. During...

During a portion of an interview with NBC News Senior Washington Correspondent Hallie Jackson that was aired on Tuesday’s broadcast of “NBC Nightly News,” 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris said that she thinks the federal minimum wage should be “at least $15 an hour.” But she’ll work with Congress on the issue since the issue will go through Congress. During a report on her interview with Harris, Jackson said, “And on the campaign trail, she criticized former President Trump on minimum wage after he avoided saying whether it should be raised while campaigning at a McDonald’s.” Jackson...
