Imagine, if you will, a group of people so detached from reality that they’ve decided Kamala Harris—a politician whose life and career is a veritable checklist of anti-Christian sentiment and policies—is actually a “faithful and committed Christian.” Enter “Evangelicals for Harris,” a group that’s apparently dedicated to rewriting history and redefining what it means to follow Christ. The group “Evangelicals for Harris” is a project created by Jim Ball, who previously founded a similar initiative, “Evangelicals for Biden.” This organization is part of a larger network called Faith Voters, a 501(c)4 organization dedicated to promoting a radical leftist political agenda...

Prominent (former) PCA Pastor Scott Sauls has left the Presbyterian Church in America, citing a newfound acceptance of lady preachers and pastrixes as the impetus for his departure. Sauls used to be a pastor at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in NYC, where he rubbed shoulders with, was mentored by, and was closely aligned with Tim Keller before ultimately ending up at Christ Presbyterian Church in Nashville, TN. A prolific contributor to the PCA’s ByFaith (the denomination’s outward messaging arm), he frequently defended the controversial Revoice movement and served as a foil for conservative Presbyterians by coming across as a slightly more...

Laura Graves and her husband, Samuel, each make six figures but are struggling to find a home in their budget in the Portland, Oregon, area. Laura Graves and her husband, Samuel, never thought they'd be raising their two children in an apartment, but they say the housing market has left them with little choice. Over the past three years, the couple, who are both 36 and live in a suburb of Portland, Oregon, have been looking for a home. They want to keep their monthly mortgage payment between $3,000 and $3,500 — or about 30% of their monthly take-home income...

Vice President Kamala Harris’ selection of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her vice presidential candidate seems to be a case of ideological birds of a feather flocking together. In the wake of the selection, Walz has received considerable criticism for his deception and dissembling regarding his military service. He merits equally great criticism for his ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Here are ten things that you did not know about Tim Walz and the People’s Republic of China (PRC).First, Walz claimed that he was in the PRC during the June 4, 1989, Tiananmen Square Massacre. One of the authors interviewed...

States that have permissive policies on squatting—a growing phenomenon in the United States—need to make the practice a criminal offense, the writers of a new report from Pacific Legal Foundation (PLF) say.Squatting is occupying an unoccupied or abandoned area of land or a building without having legal permission to use it. Although squatters don’t pay rent and sometimes damage the properties they take over, evicting them can be difficult and costly. Most states are reluctant to allow criminal prosecution of squatters as trespassers and prefer treating incidents as landlord and tenant disputes. Police who wish to avoid potentially violent confrontations often...

Ever since the Hamas attack on Israel last October, there has been an ongoing argument over whether or not Palestinians (in Gaza and elsewhere) are responsible for the actions of Hamas or merely additional victims of those actions. My sense of the media landscape is that most national news outlets see Palestinians as victims of Israel with some acknowledgement that Hamas is responsible for Israel's reaction to the October attack. But even so, the general argument has been that Palestinian civilians are mostly innocents who aren't responsible for the actions of Hamas. It's considered bad form and maybe even an outrage among...

The worst part about the porous Biden/Harris southern border is that we don’t know who we’ve let in and how dangerous some of those people might be. However, we now know of at least one allegedly very nasty character who’s been hanging out in our country, Peruvian gang member Gianfranco Torres-Navarro, who’s suspected of almost two dozen murders back in his homeland. He was arrested Wednesday in New York State by immigration authorities. Fox News’ Bill Melugin reported on the story: BREAKING: ICE Buffalo arrested a Peruvian gang leader yesterday who is wanted for 23 murders in Peru & was...

On Sunday, vice presidential nominee and Ohio Senator J.D. Vance (R) joined Margaret Brennan on CBS’s “Face the Nation” for an interview. Predictably, the conversation started with six questions in a row on abortion. While answering those questions, Vance spoke of the contrast between former President Donald Trump’s views on abortion and the view of the Democratic Party. He said, “You have Democrats who have supported abortion right up to the moment of birth — and even beyond the moment — of birth, which is just sick stuff. And I think it’s such a contrast…” Margaret Brennan cut off Vance...

Montana Governor Greg Gianforte blasted a unanimous decision rendered Wednesday by the Montana Supreme Court that struck down the Parental Consent for Abortion Act of 2013, eroding parental rights for the medical care of their minor children. “As a strong defender of parental rights, I’m deeply concerned and disappointed by today’s ruling from the Montana Supreme Court, which states parents do not have a fundamental right to oversee the medical care of their young daughters,” Gianforte said. “In its ruling, the Court has wielded its gavel like a hammer against one of the fundamental rights in our history: the right...

A plasterer who admitted to stirring up racial hatred on Facebook has been sentenced to 21 months in prison. Daniel Kingsley, 33, from Shotton in Flintshire, posted racist messages on social media on 8 and 10 August, as part of the disorder in England and Northern Ireland. Kingsley is a "bigot" who holds "deeply offensive and racist views", judge Rhys Rowlands said during sentencing at Mold Crown Court. He added that he hoped this case would "stand as an example to any others thinking of inciting hatred". Prosecutor David Mainstone shared two posts with the court that Kingsley made on...

"Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what the hell is going on," he said at the time. A controversial Muslim travel ban did later go into effect, and by the second year of his term the Trump administration was separating kids from parents at the border as part of the administration's "zero tolerance policy."

Horror novelist Stephen King wrote in a social media post that wearing a shirt in support of Vice President Kamala Harris has convinced Make America Great Again (MAGA) supporters to vote for her instead of former president Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election. King, who is a vocal critic of Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday afternoon, "Wow! MAGA guys and gals saw me in my Kamala shirt and immediately said, 'Okay, I'll vote for her!'" MAGA supporters are those who rally behind Trump's slogan, which has become synonymous with his political platform...

The first part of Alexander Mercouris' video deals with specific regions and fighting in the Donbas (primarily Pokrovsk) in detail. Mercouris says the fighting in that critical region appears to be reaching a 'decision point' as Russians continue to advance, apparently faster than anticipated. Ukrainians normally evacuate citizens ahead of Russian troops and this didn't happen in today's fighting in Donbas, supporting Mercouris' impression that the Ukrainians did not anticipate this rate of Russian advance.Mercouris mentions airforce and drone attacks on Ukrainians fighters and includes aUkrainian fuel supply convoy of 15 vehicles which was destroyed by Russian aircraft. He said...

A preliminary investigation report by Rep. Clay Higgins (LA-R) has revealed the body of Trump rally shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks is gone. In Rep. Higgins’s report, he wrote that on August 5th, when he requested to view the body of Thomas Matthew Crooks, he was told the body of Crooks was “gone.” The representative from Louisiana further noted that the FBI released the body to be cremated just ten days after the shooting occurred on July 13. Higgins, in his preliminary report of the Trump rally shooting, wrote, “My effort to examine Crooks’ body on Monday, August 5, caused quite...

It’s hard to exaggerate how bad Kamala Harris’s price-gouging proposal is. “Price gouging” is the focus of Vice President Kamala Harris’s economic agenda, her presidential campaign says. She’ll crack down on “excessive prices” and “excessive corporate profits,” particularly for groceries. So what level counts as “excessive,” you might ask? TBD, but Harris will ban it. That’s the thing about price gouging: As has been said of hardcore pornography, you know it when you see it. It’s not hard to figure out where this proposal came from. Voters want to blame someone for high grocery bills, and the presidential candidates have...
