Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) — Vice President Kamala Harris’s choice for running mate — has a long history of loving China, New York Times bestselling author and Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer said during an appearance on Breitbart News Daily, laying out Walz’s history. Walz seems to have a deep affection for China, which Schweizer, host of the Drill Down podcast and president of the Government Accountability Institute, said is not an issue in itself. However, it begins to get muddied when you are dealing and showing affection not to the Chinese people but the Chinese Communist Party...

Hillary Clinton — who once falsely claimed she took sniper fire in Bosnia — attempted to come to the rescue of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, the Democrat vice presidential candidate. Walz is facing scrutiny for exaggerating his military service and choosing to retire from the military after he knew his unit — of which he was the senior enlisted leader — would deploy to Iraq. “Tim Walz served honorably for two decades. Then he joined Congress and worked to pass a new GI bill that helped fund the college educations of millions of veterans—among them, JD Vance,” Clinton posted on...

An Israeli crowd led by hard-right politician Itamar Ben-Gvir stormed Jerusalem's most holy site today in a pilgrimage seen by Muslims as provocative. The move launches a fresh challenge to rules covering one of the most sensitive sites in the Middle East - with tensions over the compound fuelling violence before. The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the visit as a 'provocative intrusion' that endangered the fragile status quo regarding the Jerusalem compound. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu quickly denied there would be any change to rules that prohibit Jews from praying at the site, which is holy to both Muslims and...

In a bombshell revelation, whistleblowers within Homeland Security have accused the agency of actively retaliating against them for exposing a systemic failure to comply with a federal DNA collection law. The whistleblowers have risked their careers to reveal that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), a division of DHS, has systematically failed to collect the DNA of illegal immigrants as mandated by the DNA Fingerprint Act. This law, passed in 2005 with bipartisan support, mandates the collection of DNA samples from non-U.S. persons detained for immigration violations. This failure has allowed violent criminals to evade detection and commit further crimes...

What are the economic policies being proposed by Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee? We don’t actually know what “Kamalanomics” looks like because the veep has been more focused on offering platitudes with attitude. Will Kamalanonics be similar to Bidenomics? Or is it just Bidenomics on steroids? So far, her campaign website has zero policy proposals, so that’s no help. But you can buy a Harris-Walz camo hat the media have been effusing over. Wait until someone tells the candidates that “camo” is short for camouflage, which is something typically worn by hunters and soldiers who carry…guns. Probably...

VLADIMIR Putin has reportedly called in his ex-bodyguard to lead the desperate defence of Kursk as Russian casualties pile up on their own turf. Ukraine last week stormed into Russia and is said to have taken out so many enemy troops that they can't even be taken to morgues and identified. In response, a shocked Vlad has given the reins to his trusted old bodyguard, who once claimed he saved him from a rampaging brown bear. Alexei Dyumin, 51, is now coordinating the defence ministry, security agencies and regional authorities in the rush to save Russian regions from Kyiv's forces....

As of January 1, 2024, Social Security ended a spousal rule that allowed recipients to switch between their benefits and their spouse's to receive the maximum amount. The only people who can still take advantage of this rule are those who turned 70 on January 1, 2024, or were born before January 1, 1954. Under the expired rule, the higher-earning spouse would claim spousal benefits at full retirement age while the other spouse claimed their benefit. The higher earner would then switch to their benefits at age 70, which maximizes the monthly Social Security payment because of the delayed retirement...

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden is zeroing in on the policy goals closest to his heart now that he’s no longer seeking a second term and will visit New Orleans on Tuesday to promote his administration’s “moonshot” initiative aiming at dramatically reducing cancer deaths. The president and first lady Jill Biden will tour medical facilities, then, at Tulane University, will help announce $150 million in awards from the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health. Those will support eight teams of researchers around the country working on ways to help surgeons more successfully remove tumors for people facing cancer. The...

An unknown male suspect burglarized former President Donald Trump’s campaign office in Ashburn, Virginia, on Sunday night, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said Monday. The suspect in Virginia, whom surveillance video showed to be carrying a backpack and wearing a black baseball cap, appeared to stuff items into the bag during the burglary. He remains on the run.

Daily Readings from the USCCB“What is your opinion? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray, will he not leave the ninety-nine in the hills and go in search of the stray? And if he finds it, amen, I say to you, he rejoices more over it than over the ninety-nine that did not stray. In just the same way, it is not the will of your heavenly Father that one of these little ones be lost." Matthew 18:12–14It is so easy to go astray. There are many wandering souls who are lost, confused, and...

Hamas attempted to fire two rockets at Tel Aviv and central Israel on Tuesday, but failed with one of them landing in the Mediterranean Sea and one of them failing to even leave the Gaza Strip. Citizens in Tel Aviv and other parts of central Israel heard sounds of explosions, initially creating confusion until the IDF clarified the situation. According to the IDF, the rocket which landed in the Sea was immediately detected, but the IDF did not activate any alarms because it was apparent from the start that its entire trajectory was flying only over the Sea. Likewise, no...

“Why did all these RVC [Russian Volunteer Corps] and the Legion [Freedom of Russia Legion] conduct their raids? To carry out additional reconnaissance [of the area]. They weren’t just walking around and posting all these videos; [PR] for the media was an afterthought. Initially, any military shit is done for military purposes. We did the same thing back in the day [since 2014]. We went in, observed the reaction — how quickly they respond to your arrival, how many forces are there, where, what, how — and then we left. Then again and again. So, eventually, [the AFU] already had...

This was incredible! On Monday night, former President Donald Trump joined forces with tech mogul and billionaire Elon Musk for what can only be described as a “major interview.” The event was nothing short of groundbreaking, bringing together two of the most influential figures of our time for a conversation that will be remembered for years to come. Trump Crashed X Originally scheduled to begin at 8 PM ET, the interview faced a delay due to a massive Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attack, pushing the start time to around 8:45 PM ET. While the source of the attack remains...

The acting governor of Kursk, Russia – a border region Ukraine launched an invasion into last week – told Russian strongman Vladimir Putin on Monday he has evacuated 121,000 people from their homes and plans to move another 59,000 out of threatened areas as soon as possible. Reports began surfacing on August 6 of Ukrainian troops crossing the border and seizing territory in Kursk, which Ukrainian officials have long identified as a launchpad for attacks into their territory. The attacks mark the first time since Putin launched a “special operation” to oust Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in February 2022 that...

Weaponizing an historically false hierarchy of oppression. After Donald Trump was interviewed by Rachel Scott at the National Association of Black Journalists convention in Chicago, the rewriter of American history, Nikole Hannah-Jones, took time out from her five-year-long promotional tour of her 1619 Project to actually write something for the New York Times, where, according to her byline, she is still employed as a “domestic correspondent . . . covering racial injustice and civil rights.” In the manner typical of her original project published as a special issue of the New York Times Magazine and expanded into a book, Hannah-Jones...

You will recall that Trump was suspended from Twitter on January 6th. Elon Musk un-suspended Trump earlier this year, provoking hysterical yips of fear from corporate media. But Trump did not use his Twitter account. Yesterday, he came back. It was a flex, an early sign of a shift in the Trump Campaign. He’s going on offense. Variety ran the first story yesterday, headlined “Donald Trump Returns to Posting on X/Twitter After Year-Long Break Ahead of Elon Musk Interview.” Here is Trump’s first X post since January 6th, 2021: I’ll get to the historic Twitter Space interview in a moment....

Tim Walz’s "Church" is about what you’d expect. Tim Walz’s "Church" is about what you’d expect.August 13, 2024 by Robert Spencer 15 CommentsHey, Tim Walz isn’t so bad. In an age when leftists compete with one another in how much they can repudiate and mock traditional values, it is surprising and refreshing to discover that the Democrats’ shiny new vice-presidential candidate, America’s dad, is a regular churchgoer. Walz’s Christian piety, however, is not exactly the sort of thing that would put you in mind of Augustine, Aquinas, Martin Luther, Mother Theresa, or any other prominent Christian you’d care to name....
