VIDEOI bet you never thought it would happen. Secretary of State Antony Blinken agreeing with Mike Lindell on the need for voter integrity in elections. Of course the big difference is that Mike Lindell wants voter integrity in all elections and Blinken in this clip is only talking about Venezuela. Definitely NOT the USA.

RNS) — A Church of the Nazarene court has found one of its most prominent theologians guilty of affirming and advocating for the inclusion of LGBTQ+ members, contrary to the church’s teachings. After delivering the verdict on Saturday evening (July 28) against the Rev. Thomas Jay Oord of Nampa, Idaho, the court stripped Oord of his preaching credentials and expelled him from membership in the 2.5 million-member global denomination. “We, the members of the Regional Board of Discipline, unanimously find to a moral certainty and beyond a reasonable doubt … that Thomas Jay Oord is guilty of conduct unbecoming a...

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) — An eerie calm enveloped Venezuela’s capital early Monday, a day after the country’s opposition and entrenched incumbent Nicolás Maduro both claimed victory in the presidential election, setting up a high-stakes standoff. Several foreign governments, including the U.S. and European Union, held off recognizing the results of Sunday’s election, as officials delayed the release of detailed vote tallies after proclaiming Maduro the winner with 51%, to 44% for retired diplomat Edmundo González. “Venezuelans and the entire world know what happened,” said González. While the opposition vowed it would defend its votes, González and his allies asked supporters...

Americans are learning more about Kamala Harris, as Democrats rush to anoint the Vice President’s candidacy after throwing President Biden overboard. Ms. Harris wasted no time saying she’s going to run hard against a policy paper that Donald Trump has disavowed—the supposedly nefarious agenda known as Project 2025. But who’s afraid of a think-tank white paper? “I will do everything in my power to unite the Democratic Party—and unite our nation—to defeat Donald Trump and his extreme Project 2025 agenda,” Ms. Harris tweeted shortly after President Biden dropped out. She’s picking up this ball from Mr. Biden, and her campaign...

Vice President Harris on Monday backed President Biden’s push for term limits for Supreme Court justices and a constitutional amendment to counteract their recent presidential immunity decision. “President Biden and I strongly believe that the American people must have confidence in the Supreme Court. Yet today, there is a clear crisis of confidence facing the Supreme Court as its fairness has been called into question after numerous ethics scandals and decision after decision overturning long-standing precedent,” she said in a statement. Biden’s three-fold proposal includes 18-year term limits for the nine justices, which would enable the sitting president to appoint...

Kamala opposes a Cuba embargo. Her husband’s law firm cashed in on Cuban business. During the 2020 primaries, Kamala Harris told the Tampa Bay Times that she wanted to end what she called the “failed trade embargo” on Cuba. Few outside the Cuban American community paid attention to her answer and it was assumed that her willingness to prop up the Communist dictatorship was consistent with her general left-wing views on foreign policy. No one in the media was asked whether she had a financial stake in keeping Cuba open. When the Biden campaign released the 2019 tax returns for Kamala and...

JD Vance is a marked man. After accepting the nomination for vice president, Vance has been the subject of endless media attacks. Recently, Vice President Kamala Harris even questioned his “loyalty” to the country despite his serving as a Marine in the Iraq War. Yet, one of the most chilling attacks came from Germany where the publishing house Ullstein Buchverlage has stopped printing the sold-out German translation of Hillbilly Elegy, his 2016 autobiography. As we have discussed previously in this country, it is the modern left’s equivalent of book burning. After all, why burn books when you can simply prevent...

"This is France!" France unveiled a decidedly family-unfriendly spectacle last Saturday for over 28.6 million viewers worldwide as the four-hour opening ceremony for the 2024 Olympics, which unfolded along a 4.5 mile stretch of the River Seine in Paris, turned into the world’s most-watched Pride Parade.Because Western cultural elites today are overwhelmingly cultural Marxists, the organizers of the 2800-year-old athletic competition decided to jettison any connection with sports, athletic excellence, or national pride, and instead promote the normalization of sexual perversion, gender ideology, and anti-Christian bigotry. As always with Pride parades, the celebration of sexual libertinism, masked as “love” and “tolerance,”...

Special Dispatch to the New-York Times. FREDERICK, Md., Thursday, July 28. If a strong array of testimony may warrant a judgment in regard to the intentions of an enemy who has an annoying way of falsifying all predictions, I hazard the assertion that the Potomac is not at present likely to be crossed by any formidable invading force. It is certain that up to the hour of writing (Thursday, 7 P.M.,) no hostile body has shown itself at any point along the banks of the Potomac, and no demonstrations have been made in any wise looking to a movement into...

Writing the U.S. Constitution was a lengthy and delicate process. The framers exhaustively contemplated the structure of government from all angles. As debates rolled on, they strategically examined the glories and follies of human character to leverage gift against grift, repeatedly refining the document to ensure that it would securely guarantee individual liberty. As one of the authors of the Federalist Papers, James Madison offered significant contributions to the nation during this deeply reflective process. One of the most important principles in designing our American government was safeguarding minority rights against majority, or mob, rule. At the time of the...
