Southport MP 'deeply concerned' by stabbing reports published at 15:05 15:05 Patrick Hurley, Southport's MP, says he's "deeply concerned" by the reports of the stabbing in Southport.
"I am hoping for the best possible outcomes to the casualties affected," Hurley writes on social media.
"My thoughts go out to all those affected, their loved ones and to the entire community."

I feel sorry for the UK 🇬🇧, although they did arguably bring it on themselves.

Unless they are losing their country slowly, in a steady trickle over time. Then folks will do little or nothing. They won’t even vote to save themselves.
True in the UK and other Western countries. Probably also true here in the US.
I’d put money on the opposite. They’ve tried to kill the man more than once - by finding any frivolous infraction to throw him in prison, in the Muslim wing. They’re not scared - they’re terrified.
I’ve been watching him for almost 15 years. When the State tries to destroy somebody, as they have with him, they’re very concerned. I doubt there’s a politician in the UK that could rally crowds like TR did on Saturday.
