For those that are concerned about the woman vote going for Kamala. It's 2024. All it requires is that JD or President Trump declare to be a woman candidate. After Thanksgiving they can transition back. Let's not continue to be the stupid party.

Hong Kong CNN — Palestinian factions including rivals Hamas and Fatah have signed an agreement on “ending division and strengthening Palestinian unity” in Beijing, China said Tuesday. The announcement followed reconciliation talks hosted by China involving 14 Palestinian factions starting Sunday, according to China’s Foreign Ministry, which come as Israel wages war against militant group Hamas in Gaza and as Beijing has sought to present itself as a potential peace broker in the conflict.

Just what a weary world needs. I have an idea. What if they just stopped blowing stuff up? The world is on fire; war is raging in Ukraine and Gaza, and a global war could break out at any moment. The Southern border is a fictional line on a map. Americans are being steadily robbed of their savings and prevented from being able to get ahead by the cruelest tax of all, inflation. The Biden regime, in a series of unprecedented and deeply un-American moves, has weaponized the Justice Department in order to destroy the leader of the political opposition....

Eight days before the 81-year-old president sensationally exited the race, Schumer, the Democratic Senate majority leader and Biden’s former congressional colleague, paid him a rare visit in Rehoboth Beach, Del., for a 35-minute meeting, a source told The Post. Schumer “opened by saying he was there out of love and affection and he came as a friend and colleague,” the source said.

In late May, a strange post appeared on the X account of Iran’s leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. “Dear University Students in the United States of America,” it read, “you are standing on the right side of history. You have now formed a branch of the Resistance Front.” As it happens, the Supreme Leader’s government has struggled with its own resistance, ignited by the regime’s murder of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini, accused of violating Iranian laws requiring head coverings—the most visible, but far from only, limitation on women’s basic freedoms in the Islamic country. It’s hard to imagine that the cleric looked...

By Monday night, Harris secured 2,668 delegates at the Democratic National Convention in August. Only 56 delegates remain uncommitted, according to the informal count. Vice President Kamala Harris has secured verbal agreements from enough delegates to win the nomination, according to a survey conducted by the Associated Press. By Monday night, Harris secured 2,668 delegates at the Democratic National Convention in August. Only 56 delegates remain uncommitted, according to the informal count. The announcement came after dozens of state delegations began endorsing the vice president on Monday, pushing her expected delegate count far ahead of the 1,976 needed to secure...

… U.S. President Joe Biden’s decision to withdraw from the White House race may well turn 2024 into the Year of the Woman — namely, that of Vice President Kamala Harris who, armed with the outgoing president’s endorsement, can now be considered the front-runner to replace him atop the Democratic ticket. Truth is, if Harris is successful in getting the nod from the Democratic Party, much of the subsequent election campaign is likely to domestically focus on abortion and women’s rights. Trump already has a problem with women voters — polls have consistently shown that the proportion of women planning...

U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is facing serious questions from members of Congress over the failed assassination attempt on Donald Trump on July 13. And while he has yet to answer questions about how an identified threat was allowed to scout out the venue via a drone, climb onto a rooftop just 150 yards away from a presidential candidate and actually fire shots at Trump before being stopped, Mayorkas has boldly weighed in by issuing a statement regarding women in law enforcement. Instead of addressing the growing cascade of failures that nearly allowed the assassination of...

I want to be as respectful as I possibly can. The rumors are intense as of this posting whether or not Joe Biden is deceased or actively dying. This vanity post will address the issue of transfer of power. On the event of death, is VP Harris, due to both her birth status and her parents birth status, able to assume the Presidency? Or will this pass to Speaker Johnson until January?

Sharks off the coast of Brazil have tested positive for cocaine, scientists say. Marine biologists tested 13 Brazilian sharpnose sharks taken from the shores near Rio de Janeiro and found they tested for high levels of cocaine in their muscles and livers. The concentrations were as much as 100 times higher than previously reported for other aquatic creatures. Experts believe the cocaine is making its way into the waters via illegal labs where the drug is manufactured or through excrement of drug users. Packs of cocaine lost or dumped by traffickers at sea could also be a source, though this...

FARNBOROUGH AIRSHOW 2024 — Amid a revolution in air combat, the head of the US Air Force said Saturday he’s “reasonably confident” America’s next-generation fighter aircraft will have a pilot, leaving the door open, however slightly, for a radical departure from a fully manned system. “I’m confident there’s going to be a sixth-generation fighter. I’m reasonably confident that it’s going to be crewed,” Kendall told Breaking Defense in an exclusive interview over the weekend. That the Air Force is seemingly unsure whether the aircraft will need a pilot, and presumably a cockpit to house them, suggests the service may need...

The US Navy surface fleet continues to shrink. And every surface hull commissioned after the Arleigh Burke class in 1991 has been a failure. The Chinese Navy exceeds the US Navy in total warships deployed. What makes this even more astonishing is that the Chinese maintain a regional naval power with optional blue water projection capabilities (mind you, untested) while the US maintains the fiction of a global capability. The current U.S. fleet is smaller, with more than 280 vessels. The Secretary of the Navy expects that strength to reach 300 in the early 2030s which is a pipe dream...

WASHINGTON — In his first memoir, President Joe Biden reflected on what at the time was the most searing moment of his political career. He had withdrawn from his first presidential campaign in disgrace, driven out by charges of plagiarism. Now, some 37 years after that flameout, Biden’s epitaph weighed heavily as he made surely the hardest political decision of his long career in Washington to give up the presidency after just one term and end his bid for reelection. As he sat in isolation with COVID at his Delaware beach house these past few days, hacking and hacked off,...

KEY POINTS * Hamas and Fatah have been bitter enemies ever since the bloody 2006-2007 civil war in the Gaza Strip. * But this is far from the first time the rival groups have signed reconciliation pacts, only to return to hostilities due to persistent disagreements. * The development is significant for China, which has increasingly moved to expand its role in international diplomacy.

(The Center Square) - Giving Americans $1,000 per month makes them worse off, says a new three-year, 3000-participant study. The National Bureau of Economic Research’s massive study found recipients and their partners work and earn less, with the negative effect on wages and earnings getting worse over time. While proponents of universal basic income theorized such programs would improve non-economic metrics for recipients, the study surprisingly showed only leisure time increased as recipients spent less time on sleeping, child care, community engagement, caring for others, and self improvement. Transfers also reduced recipients’ non-transfer incomes significantly, with the study finding “for...
