I’m over the moon Trump elevated him this way in a nod to the next generation. He could of played it safe with another DC hack but didn’t.
I’m just curious why Trump didn’t pick one of his sons to be his vice president. Imagine a Trump trump ticket? Hopefully they would stay in power long enough for Baron Trump to become old enough

On the 5 last week Tarlov was claiming that Vance is the guy that the dems wanted Trump to pick. Easiest to defeat or some nonsense. Seems to me that he must be the guy they feared the most.
Nepotism smells to high heaven. A pick like that would have seen Trump go down in flames.

WI-MI-PA are the battle ground states in 2024. if Trump wins PA it game over for the Dems. Vance background will play very well to habitual blue collar Dems who voted for Trump in 2016 and switch back to Biden in 2020.
As someone who watched Biden in politcs for 35 years, he has always had this weird connectivity with blue collar Dem voters. Vance background helps Trump re-connect to that voter block in critical states of PA-MI-WI

Me Too! Twice they underestimated him. Harris will not be easy to beat. She has the estrogen voted locked in.

What I find interesting about this story is that WOWO radio, Ft. Wayne, IN, announced on its 10am news that there were reports of FBI, State and local police had arrived at Senator Vance’s Ohio home around 9am. And it was repeated on the 10:30 and 11am news. Thus Pres Trump may not have called Sen Vance until around 3pm, but Sen Vance must have had an inkling that he was the choice when all of that security arrived.
