Coronavirus-stricken President Joe Biden might be down but he firmly believes he is not out of the 2024 race to the White House and on Sunday remained huddled with top political aides to plot a return to the campaign trail. Bloomberg reports the appeals from vulnerable House and Senate Democrats for Biden to depart have only intensified as the president has been quarantined at his Delaware beach home after he tested positive for COVID-19 Wednesday.

They have been nervously looking on as Biden’s abrupt evaporation of support has embroiled the Democratic Party in an unprecedented crisis, prompting thousands of employees to game out whether they should be preparing for a change at the White House — and mourning the possible end of the Biden administration...

A voting rights group says a new Alabama law that expanded the list of felonies that cause a person to lose their right to vote is “out of step” with what is happening in most of the nation on voting rights for formerly incarcerated people. The Campaign Legal Center filed the lawsuit Wednesday in Montgomery Circuit Court seeking to clarify that the new law cannot block people from voting in the November election. The lawsuit argued House Bill 100, which has a Oct. 1 effective date, cannot be used in the upcoming election, because the Alabama Constitution prohibits new election...

Seventy-nine percent of Democrats said they would approve of Vice President Kamala Harris becoming the Democratic presidential nominee if President Joe Biden steps aside, according to a new Economist/YouGov poll. Twenty-eight percent of Democrats think Harris would be more likely than Biden to win against former President Donald Trump in the fall, while 32% say Biden and Harris have about the same chances of winning. Less than a quarter say Biden would be more likely than Harris to defeat the former president. The results come as Biden faces renewed calls to drop out of the race from Democrats who worry...

Standing at 20 feet, Freeda Womb isn’t afraid to stand for Americans’ right to contraception. And on Friday morning, the giant inflatable shaped like an IUD stood in the heart of the city. --SNIP-- Additionally, in a statement released Thursday, AFC pointed to the Trump-Vance ticket and its connections to Project 2025, saying that they represent “a direct assault on the right to contraception, a right that has been hard-won and must be fiercely protected.”

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was "crazy as a bedbug" and has accused her of turning on President Joe Biden "like a dog." More than an hour into his speech at a campaign event in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Saturday—his first rally since last Saturday's attempt on his life—Trump dubbed Pelosi "Crazy Nancy" and said she is "selling out" Biden. **SNIP** "She's [Kamala Harris] not as crazy as Nancy Pelosi, Crazy Nancy. Did you see Nancy Pelosi is selling out Biden now? Did you see?" he said. "She turned on him like a dog....

Remember that schoolyard game we used to play as children, where one person turns their back and everyone else runs toward them, until they turn around and you have to stop in your tracks? Then they turn their back again, and you see how close you can get before they spin back around? Note that, if you’re one of the runners, you never have to go backward. You just stop and remain in place until they’re not looking, then move forward again. That is essentially the story of Marxist leftism over the past 100 years or so, in the United...

At the 2024 NATO Summit in Washington, commemorating the alliance’s 75th anniversary, leaders offered Ukraine a fresh round of false hope in its war against Russia — which is worse than doing nothing. Whether by military commitment or intensified support, the pretension that NATO could currently deliver a Ukrainian victory, or secure one later, encourages the country’s leaders to postpone reckoning with their dire circumstances. Moreover, it threatens to further imperil NATO members without a security payoff. After the failure of Ukraine’s counteroffensive in 2023, recognition that its forces cannot regain more of its territory has begun to sink in....

The IDF strike was the first strike on Yemen's soil in response to ongoing Houthi attacks on Israel and the Red Sea, including a drone attack on Tel Aviv that killed one. Israeli officials on Saturday evening responded to the confirmed IDF strike on the port of Hodeidah in western Yemen, which struck Houthi military targets and energy infrastructures. The strike was conducted by IDF fighter jets and struck several targets in Hodeidah, including Houthi strategic points and energy infrastructure. In response to the strike, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said that Israel struck the Houthis in Yemen to send a...

To whet your appetite, I will take you today to Australia, where we find the latest news on the inevitable collapse of impossible dream of “green” hydrogen as the means to make electricity from wind and sun work. But before getting to the latest news, kindly...

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem (7/21/24)[Prayer]Names and Titles of God (The Word) John 11 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same...

Was this illegal part of a Venezuelan or Cuban military intelligence operation? Why, again, was he let in? Joe Biden's open borders may be about more than just replacing the electorate. The New York Post found that one of the most malevolent of the border surgers, a Venezuelan illegal named Leonel Moreno, who famously urged other illegals to squat in Americans' homes and waved hundred-dollar bills around to boast of his public benefits on TikTok, is being investigated by the feds for his military intelligence work for the Marxist dictatorship back home. According to the Post: Joe Biden's open borders...

If you are a Trump-hating Democrat, you are probably having trouble separating your nightmares from reality. After all, the Republicans just had a wildly successful convention while your party is forming circular firing squads. Worst of all, Joe Biden has picked a terrible time to throw a hissy fit, making it impossible to know who will be your party’s presidential nominee. Consider two reports circulating Friday: One says Biden is “in it to win it” and sees a path to victory, the other insists he and his family are discussing his imminent withdrawal. At this point, it’s not clear which...

MILWAUKEE, WI — At the end of former President and U.S. Presidential candidate Donald Trump's 90-minute acceptance speech, the sounds of opera opened with "Nessun Dorma" ("Let No One Sleep"), a majestic musical piece performed by tenor Christopher Maccio. ----- However, the aria also has a more sinister connotation beyond its original intention in the opera. It is featured in the 2002 film "The Sum of All Fears," based on Tom Clancy's 1991 novel. This political thriller, a sequel to "Clear and Present Danger" (1989), involves CIA Deputy Director Jack Ryan, who attempts to prevent a nuclear war between the...

The IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) have uncovered a treasure trove of Hamas intelligence, consisting of stacks of documents, files, and computers, including guidelines on what to do if someone is suspected of being part of the LGBTQ community and a phrasebook of Hebrew words to help terrorists communicate in Hebrew, which included phrases such as "Take off your clothes." Among the findings were operational tables, equipment lists, classified maps, and instructions on what to do if captured, leading to the conclusion that Hamas's military wing has transformed into a professional army right under the nose of Israeli...

Thousand of Donald Trump supporters descended on Grand Rapids, MI on Saturday for the first campaign rally of the former president since the failed assassination attempt one week ago in Butler, PA. Crowds of Trump loyalists started lining up in downtown early in the morning and by early afternoon, the line to get into the event spanned multiple city blocks as people came from all over Michigan and out of state to see the Republican presidential nominee speak. Security for the rally was intense outside the Van Andel Arena. Dump trucks blocked off streets around the venue while fencing had...
