North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum (R), a leading vice presidential contender for former President Trump, said on Sunday he has “evolved” in his position on abortion access in the eight years since he suggested women were unsafe before Roe v. Wade. In an interview on NBC News’s “Meet the Press,” anchor Kristen Welker pressed Burgum about a clip she played from his 2016 gubernatorial campaign, when Burgum expressed concern about outlawing abortions. “When you outlaw the ability to terminate pregnancies and make it illegal, it just makes it unsafe for some of the most vulnerable people in the world —...

Gimme two steps to sell my house. Are people getting out of dodge?? Calfornia Gpvernor “Greasy Gavin” Newsom sold his Sacramento home and moved to Marin County for better schools. Sacrramento active housing inventory is up 65.6% YoY. Active housing inventory in May is up 27.5% YoY nationally, with Denver leading at 75.2% YoY. I highlight Columbus Ohio at +32.9% since that is where I live. While the government may be able to fake BLS and CPI data to gloss over the fact that 5.5% rates have already likely driven the nation into a deep recession, independent data on the...

The Parliamentary faction of President Emmanuel Macron has been utterly destroyed in the unexpected snap election he called just three weeks ago, with Le Pen’s Party looking to nearly treble its seat holding. Polling has closed in France for the first round of this week-long Parliamentary election. While actual seat distribution won’t be fully known, the exit polls following this knock-out round have given a confident answer that Marine Le Pen’s nationalist-populist National Rally (RN) won the day. Per the exit polls, her faction gained 34 per cent of the vote, while the left-wing coalition founded for the purpose of...

"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto...

Seventy-two hours after the debate in Atlanta last week, President Biden and those closest to him have settled on the same strategy police officers use to shoo bystanders away from a car crash: “Nothing to see here.”According to the talking points being repeated by the president’s aides and surrogates, the debate was a 90-minute blip in a long campaign. Mr. Biden didn’t have “a great night,” as he told donors Saturday, but fund-raising is going strong and he has already bounced back.Aides have been pushing a similar message for more than a year, as polls have shown that voters are...

A Chinese military aircraft was also claimed to be flying overhead in what was described as “a further display of excessive force and intimidation.”A Philippine Navy RHIB transporting supplies, including seven disassembled and packaged CAR-15 rifles, was towed away from Sierra Madre, surrounded on by Chinese vessels and boarded. One name being bandied about to replace Joe Biden is Michelle Obama; the speculation here, on both the left and right, is making me wonder, what qualifies this presumably front-hole person to be POTUS? I mean, should she not, at the very least, have been elected dog-catcher first? How about managing a Chick-fil-A, a lemonade stand? I think, however, that the very idea the Democratic Party (or mouthpieces of) will contemplate or even talk about this possibility tells us a lot about what they think of the office. Clearly, to them, no experience is necessary; NONE, at all. So, why...

Joe Biden's close aides have carefully shielded him from people inside and outside the White House since the beginning of his presidency. Why it matters: The intermittent access has resulted in many current and former White House aides being shocked at the 81-year-old president's limitations at the debate Thursday night. Driving the news: Current and former White House aides are feeling whiplash — and now questioning whether Biden could fulfill a second term.

VIDEOScrew any sense of fairness! That is the attitude of deranged former federal judge Michael Luttig. Rather than letting the 2024 election proceed normally, Luttig is DEMANDING that Jack Smith prosecute President Donald Trump in a trial in the weeks leading into the November election in order to keep him tied up in court and OFF the campaign trail aka ELECTION INTERFERENCE. The one great thing about Luttig is that NOBODY gives more of a hangdog over the top sad appearance than he does as you can see here. Perhaps he is already anticipating the very very sad (for liberals)...

Representative Chip Roy (R-Texas), who has previously endorsed Florida Governor Ron Desantis, is now seemingly attempting to undermine his own party by proposing a resolution urging Kamala Harris to initiate proceedings under the 25th Amendment to declare Joe Biden unfit for office. .... Snip.... Rep. Roy appears to be on a mission to rescue the Democrat party from what he perceives as a leadership crisis. His proposed resolution seeks to use the 25th Amendment as a tool to declare President Biden unable to perform his duties, a move that some critics are calling the “dumbest thing” to do.

resident Biden is now threatened by the sentiment that brought him to the White House. Democrats came into 2020 traumatized by their party’s 2016 loss and by four years of Donald Trump’s hard-right presidency. The party internalized the idea that the key to beating Trump was doing better with blue-collar Midwestern Whites, and Biden was the natural guy to fill that gap. When you asked Democrats that year whom they planned to support, they would often indicate that they preferred a non-Biden candidate to be the nominee — but that Biden seemed like the best bet to win. And he...
