The family of an elderly man beaten to death with a traffic cone have expressed outrage after charges against one of the accused teens were dropped. James Lambert Jr., 73, was killed after being fatally struck with the object as he walked down a Philadelphia road in 2022. Gamara Mosley and Richard Jones, both then aged 14, were among the gang of seven teens involved and were initially charged with his murder. However, charges against Jones have been dropped, after his lawyer successfully argued there is not enough evidence to prove his blow contributed to Lambert's death. 'I think it's...

The former RNC chair's concession that Biden won "fair and square" did not save her from internal outrage at her support for Trump's stolen-election fantasy. Two weeks after the 2020 presidential election, Ronna McDaniel, then chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC), let Rudy Giuliani, Donald Trump's lawyer, hold a press conference at the RNC's headquarters in Washington, D.C. During that bizarre presentation, Giuliani and Sidney Powell, another member of the Trump campaign's "elite strike force team," crystallized the craziness of the president's stolen-election fantasy by describing a baroque international conspiracy that supposedly had delivered a fraudulent victory to Joe Biden....

Gov. Kathy Hochul was asked to leave the wake for slain NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller on Friday afternoon. Hochul arrived at the Massapequa Funeral Home on Long Island for the second day of viewings around 1:45 p.m. She was only in the venue for about 10 minutes before she was asked to leave, law enforcement sources told The Post. On her way to her car, the governor appeared to be confronted by a man in a black suit, who gestured while speaking intensely. Several cops waiting outside the funeral home clapped as he walked away.

Too many property owners are having trouble asserting their rights, but not everything is "squatter's rights."A man's home is his castle. Or is it? Over the past couple of weeks, squatters' rights—whereby someone who isn't a legal owner or tenant claims a right to stay in someone else's property—has moved from a 30 Rock joke to the subject of white-hot internet discourse. Kicking off this controversy have been several viral episodes of frustrated property owners trying to eject unwanted people from their homes. Most prominently, New York City resident Adele Andaloro was arrested on camera after trying to self-evict several...

Explanation: Looping through the Jovian system in the late 1990s, the Galileo spacecraft recorded stunning views of Europa and uncovered evidence that the moon's icy surface likely hides a deep, global ocean. Galileo's Europa image data has been remastered here, with improved calibrations to produce a color image approximating what the human eye might see. Europa's long curving fractures hint at the subsurface liquid water. The tidal flexing the large moon experiences in its elliptical orbit around Jupiter supplies the energy to keep the ocean liquid. But more tantalizing is the possibility that even in the absence of sunlight that...

A property owner in Atlanta, Georgia, is fighting back against squatters who have taken over his land, which spans nine acres. Approximately ten years ago, David Morris, who now resides in California, allowed four individuals to live on the property for a while at no charge, Fox News reported Wednesday, noting the agreement was they would assist with the upkeep of the land. Morris used to run a nonprofit on the property that assisted needy people with food. However, he shut down operations during the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, as people suffering from addiction and mental health problems moved onto the...

MSNBC national affairs analyst John Heilemann said on Friday’s “Morning Joe” that former President Donald Trump does not hide his “fascistic tendencies” or his “desire to be a dictator.” Heilemann said, “Donald Trump is not an undefined character in the American psyche. Everyone knows who Donald Trump is. Love him, hate him, somewhere in the middle, people understand who he is. There’s no thing not known, in some sense, about Donald Trump.”

Stephen A. Smith, an ESPN commentator known for his hot takes on sports and politics, sounded off on the idea that many Americans, including those in politics, expect equality of outcome rather than opportunity. During an appearance on the PBD Podcast hosted by Patrick Bet-David, Smith called upon Americans to accept the fact that "people who produce more ultimately end up more successful than those who don’t." He went on to observe, "We just have too many people in this world, especially on Capitol Hill as well, that want to give this impression or want to literally go about the...

“The Great Good Friday Eclipse” (Mark 15:1-47) It’s early afternoon on an early spring day, with lots of people in town, and the sky turns completely dark. No, I’m not talking about what will happen here on April 8, when Greenwood and the whole Indianapolis area will lie in the path of totality of a solar eclipse, and lots of people will be here to experience that rare event. No, I’m talking about what happened in Jerusalem back on the day when Jesus was crucified. On that day, lots of people were in town for the Passover festival. And on...

During an interview with entrepreneur and podcast host Patrick Bet-David, ESPN host Stephen A. Smith admitted he is "ashamed" of the Democratic Party and complained about the "lawfare" they’re waging against former President Trump. "What’s all the lawfare about?" he asked on the "PBD Podcast" on Wednesday, complaining that Democrats can’t just beat Trump in a traditional election. "One charge after another, you got Letitia James … You’ve got the folks in Georgia with Fani Willis and others. You’ve got, you know, the Mar-A-Lago situation. You got … I mean, we’re really, really, really going to have a trial about...

A Texas appeals court on Thursday overturned the illegal voting conviction of Crystal Mason, who was given a five-year prison sentence for casting a provisional ballot in the 2016 election while on supervised release for federal tax evasion. The decision by the Tarrant County-based Second Court of Appeals means she is formally acquitted of the felony voting charge. The court said in the decision that there was no evidence Mason knew she was ineligible to vote when she cast her ballot — which is a condition that must be met in order to convict her of illegal voting. Mason has...

There’s no way in hell they shouldn’t tell all’.. The FBI is closing the book on the agency’s “corrupt” handling of James “Whitey” Bulger — forever. The feds are refusing to make any further installments of Bulger’s case file public, saying the records are “investigative” and no longer subject to the Freedom of Information Act. “The records responsive to your request are law enforcement records; there is a pending or prospective law enforcement proceeding relevant to these responsive records, and release of the information could reasonably be expected to interfere with enforcement proceedings. Therefore, your request is being administratively closed,”...

NEW YORK, NY — At a high-priced fundraiser in Manhattan last night, three former presidents got together and reminisced about all the good times they had together on that one other island. Presidents Obama, Biden, and Clinton were all present at the lavish event, and sources say they couldn't help but remember the last time they were all together having fun on an island owned by a mutual friend, who is now mysteriously deceased. "Oh wow, what a great party!" exclaimed Biden, according to witnesses. "Is Ghislaine here? Where's Ghislaine? I've got a hankerin' for a massage. Where's Ghislaine?" The...

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Squatters beware. Florida's latest law makes it easier to remove those illegally staying on private property. Gov. Ron DeSantis signed HB 621 into law Wednesday, eliminating squatters' rights in the state. "We are putting an end to the squatters scam in Florida," DeSantis said.
