Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that after the death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, it was time to designate Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism. Partial transcript as follows: GRAHAM: As to what happened in Russia with Navalny was one of the bravest people I have ever met. When he went back to Russia, he had to know he was going to be killed by Putin. And he was murdered by Putin. So what- why don’t we do this? I just got off the phone with two Democratic senators. Let’s make Russia...

BOSTON (AP) — With back-to-back Super Bowl victories for the hometown Chiefs, Kansas City football fans gathered for another championship parade and a second celebratory pep rally in a row. Don’t expect there to be a third. Not because the Chiefs, with star quarterback Patrick Mahomes still just 28 years old, can’t win another NFL title. But even if they do, officials are unlikely to allow so many fans in one place to cheer them on, security experts said in the wake of Wednesday’s shooting just after the rally had ended. “They have to think twice about having these parades,”...

Dozens of rioters were filmed surrounding the Opera conference hall along Fruitweg in the Netherlands, as multiple police vans drove to the scene. Another clip also showed the aftermath. The building had several smashed windows and parked vehicles were on fire, with the street left...

Tyreek Hill is a five-time All-Pro, eight-time Pro Bowl selection and a Super Bowl champion. The speedy Miami Dolphins receiver likes the idea of also having an opportunity to pursue Olympic gold when the rapidly growing sport of flag football debuts in the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles, a sentiment shared by other NFL stars, including Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Hill, Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and running back Raheem Mostert, Detroit Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram are among the players representing the AFC and NFC at the Pro Bowl Games,...

The universe is expanding faster and faster, but not all scientists agree that dark energy is the cause. Perhaps, instead, our universe keeps colliding with and absorbing smaller 'baby universes,' a new theoretical study suggests. Our universe is expanding at an ever-accelerating rate — a phenomenon that all theories of cosmology agree upon but none can fully explain. Now, a new theoretical study offers an intriguing solution: Perhaps our universe is expanding because it keeps colliding with and absorbing "baby" parallel universes. Studies of the cosmic microwave background, the afterglow of the Big Bang, have revealed that our universe is...

According to a recent report out of the United Kingdom, increasingly desperate eclectic vehicle dealers have slashed the prices of their vehicles in an attempt to boost sales by massively ratcheting up discount deals. The attempt to stimulate sales comes despite massive government efforts to boost interest in EVs and limit sales of combustion-powered vehicles. Such is what the UK financial website This Is Money reported in a recent expose on the state of the EV industry in the UK. According to its report, which cited market analysis by What Car?, dealerships have increased the average discount on an EV...

Federal Reserve chairman Jerome Powell is not known for his resolve. It’s the main reason why the new and emerging consensus among Wall Street Fed watchers is that he will cut interest rates at least twice this year despite signs of persistent inflation, the Post has learned. If the CEOs and top executives who follow the Fed can be believed — and these folks have sources inside the central bank’s building in DC — Powell is already brushing off last week’s high inflation reads as a likely anomaly. His first rate cut since he started to raise them in March...

Seemingly every day, a new scenario is revealed how the left might remove Joe Biden and insert another candidate for the presidential election. Heather Higgins, writing for RealClearPolitics, and covered by Thomas Lifson on AT, believes that the DNC will unleash a “September Surprise” after the Democrat National Convention (August 19–22), in which Joe Biden steps down — say, for some new health reason — and is replaced by Michelle Obama, who at this point will not even have to campaign against or vie with other potential Democrat candidates, including Kamala Harris. Higgins cites precedents for late-candidate “switcheroos” as well...

Most coverage of Friday's verdict from a Manhattan courthouse has focused on the $350 million plus that rogue judge Arthur F Engoron has demanded Trump cough up - for a "crime" which has no known victims and no identifiable proceeds. Confiscating (with interest) close to half-a-billion dollars for no good reason is certainly unusual, even by the standards of US "justice". But that's not what caught my eye about Arthur F Wankeron's judgment. The truly striking passage was this (page 90, just before the sign-off): The Court hereby enjoins Donald Trump and the Trump Organization and its affiliates from applying...

Was there ever a more predictable outcome than that of Donald Trump’s civil trial? Attorney General Letitia James came into office vowing to punish him and ignore all other crimes. Judge Arthur Engoron found him guilty before anyone even set foot in a courtroom. It was all over but the punishment: a $355 million fine and a three-year ban from running a business in New York. Guess they were out of tar and feathers. This was a politically motivated trial from the start, one that had the progressive James “protecting” big banks she would otherwise demean.

This week, actor and Bible expert Rob Reiner claimed that "Christians have no business being in politics. It goes against the teachings of Jesus. First of all, Jesus commanded his followers to render unto Caesar what is Caesar's. This command came in answer to whether his followers should pay taxes. He pointed out that it was Caesar's image on the coins needed to pay taxes. Money in America has pictures of dead former presidents. Clearly it belongs to the government that generously allows people to temporarily use it. Christians who agitate or vote for tax cuts are simply out of...

Republican presidential candidate former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that if former President Donald Trump were allowed to put loyalists in charge of the Republican National Committee, there would not be any money left to win control over the House and Senate in 2024. Anchor Jon Karl said, “As you have talked about as well, Trump is engineering a takeover of the Republican National Committee, and he wants to make his daughter-in-law the co-chair.”

Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that she was not ruling out a presidential run to keep former President Donald Trump out of the White House. Anchor Jake Tapper said, “You still haven’t ruled out a presidential run of your own in 2024, as far as I know. Are you still considering it, or what do you rule it out?” Cheney said, “I haven’t made any decisions about it yet. I’m going to do whatever is necessary to defeat Donald Trump.”

“It’s not enough to be against globalism or the WEF, we have to also be for something better.” — Tom Luongo, Gold, Goats ‘n Guns Mr. Luongo makes an important point. I want you to think about this: there is a reason that the WEF-Globalist cabal is losing the battle to control and dominate the rest of us. They are trying to power straight into the opposing currents of reality. Above all, they seek to centralize power and decision-making. But the world is moving in the opposite direction. All of the WEF’s aims founder on the macro trends unspooling in...
