Tucker Carlson says he went “from amused to legitimately angry” at U.S. political leaders during a recent trip to a Moscow grocery store, where the independent conservative journalist and his crew guessed that a cart full of food would cost about the equivalent of $400 in American dollars – and it came in around a hundred bucks. “Coming to a Russian grocery store, the ‘heart of evil,’ and seeing what things cost and how they live, it will radicalize you against our leaders,” Carlson said in the video shot on-site as he shopped for eggs, bread, wine and other staples....

Former President Obama stood by President Biden’s commitment to the NATO alliance on Wednesday, days after former President Trump sparked concern around the globe by saying the U.S. should not defend NATO allies who fall short of their defense spending targets. “President Biden is absolutely right,” Obama wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “The last thing we need right now is a world that is more chaotic and less secure; where dictators feel emboldened and our allies wonder if they can count on us. Let’s keep moving forward.” Obama was responding to a statement from Biden saying the NATO alliance keeps...

A proposal in the Maryland General Assembly would eliminate punishments for certain nonviolent disruptive behaviors committed by students on school property. The bill, introduced by Delegate Sheila Ruth (D-Baltimore County) and Senator Alonzo Washington (D-Prince George’s County), aims to amend the state’s school security laws that currently prohibit and penalize students for engaging in “disturbing activities” at their school, including “molesting or threatening” other students. The sponsors clarify that the term “molesting” refers to harassing behavior, not sexual abuse. Under the proposed amendment, disciplinary action would not be taken against students for these nonviolent disruptions occurring at their own school....

Fulton County prosecutor Fani Willis allegedly reimbursed her lover and fellow Trump case prosecutor, Nathan Wade, with cash for extravagant vacations they spent together, Wade said on the stand in a Georgia courtroom Thursday. Wade said the expenses were initially paid for with his business credit card. If the presiding judge determines Willis engaged in an actual conflict of interest with her lover and fellow prosecutor, Willis would be removed from the case, handing former President Donald Trump a massive victory in the Georgia election interference case. Judge Scott McAfee said during a Monday hearing that disqualification from the case...

JPMorgan Chase and institutional investors BlackRock and State Street Global Advisors announced Thursday that they are quitting or, in the case of BlackRock, substantially scaling back involvement in a massive United Nations climate alliance formed to combat global warming through corporate sustainability agreements. The FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago last summer might have been a plot to protect deep state intelligence officials, according to sources who spoke with a team of independent journalists this week.On Wednesday, journalists Michael Shellenberger, Matt Taibbi, and Alex Gutentag published part 2 of an expose on the role of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in orchestrating the years-long crusade to frame former President Donald Trump as a Russian plant. The article posted on Shellenberger’s Substack, Public, outlined how intelligence officials fretted over the presence of a classified “binder” in Trump’s possession that former CIA Director Gina Haspel had guarded...

Evidence suggests our intelligence agencies launched the Russia-collusion hoax months before the Clinton campaign joined in full force.Tuesday’s explosive news — that long before the FBI launched Crossfire Hurricane on July 31, 2016, the U.S. intelligence community had asked foreign intel agencies to surveil 26 people connected to Donald Trump — raises the question of whether our intelligence community colluded with the Clinton campaign in these efforts. After all, it was then-Biden campaign adviser and now-Secretary of State Antony Blinken who “set in motion the events that led to” 51 former intel officials issuing the public statement that falsely framed...

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Wednesday he prefers the more "experienced" Joe Biden in the 2024 U.S. election compared to former President Trump, the likely GOP nominee. “He’s more experienced, more predictable, he’s a politician of the old formation,” Putin told journalist Pavel Zarubin when asked which of the two would be better for Moscow. “But we will work with any U.S. leader whom the American people trust.” He also refused to comment on the 81-year-old president’s health, which has become a major issue during the campaign as a majority of voters believe he’s too old to successfully carry out...

We already knew that the FBI used the Clinton-funded Steele Dossier to obtain FISA warrants and justify spying on Trump campaign officials in the hopes of thwarting his campaign and undermining his presidency. But this week we learned that the CIA under Barack Obama recruited the intelligence services of foreign allies to illegally spy on 26 associates of Donald Trump before the FBI launched its counterintelligence probe in the summer of 2016. But before we get more into that, let's take a step back. Back in December, CNN reported that a binder "containing highly classified information related to Russian election...

A House Republican is calling for an inquiry into House Intelligence Chair Mike Turner (R-Ohio), saying his vague call to declassify a national security threat was done with “reckless disregard.”Turner on Wednesday called on President Biden to declassify intelligence on a “serious national security threat,” writing that it was needed “so that Congress, the Administration, and our allies can openly discuss the actions necessary to respond to this threat.”But Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) on Thursday accused Turner of having ulterior motives, citing the battle over both funding for Ukraine and a bill to reauthorize the nation’s warrantless spy powers —...

Four out of five Americans are being exposed to a little-known chemical found in popular oat-based foods — including Cheerios and Quaker Oats — that is linked to reduced fertility, altered fetal growth, and delayed puberty. The Environmental Working Group published a study in the Journal of Exposure Science & Environmental Epidemiology on Thursday that found a staggering 80% of Americans tested positive for a harmful pesticide called chlormequat. The “highly toxic agricultural chemical” is federally allowed to be used on oats and other grains imported to the US, according to the EWG. When applied to oat and grain crops,...

The deficit, in this discussion, is an annual number. It is the amount that tax revenues are less than spending by Congress. In other words, Congress is spending six-plus percent more each year than the government can cover by taxing citizens. Economist Brain Wesbury on the deficit and debt: Last week the Congressional Budget Office set out new projections for budget deficits and debt in the decade ahead, and they weren’t quite as bad as they looked last year. The CBO now projects a deficit of 6.4% of GDP in 2033 versus a prior forecast of 7.3%. Total accumulated debt...
