Representative Justin Humphrey has filed an Oklahoma bill that would ban “furries” from attending school and would require either a guardian or “animal control” to pick them up if they violate the rule. On Thursday, Humphrey (R-Okla.) filed House Bill 3084 targeting “furries” which are described as “member[s] of a subculture devoted to art, writing, or costumes depicting anthropomorphic animals,” by dictionary.com. “Students who purport to be an imaginary animal or animal species, or who engage in anthropomorphic behavior commonly referred to as furries at school shall not be allowed to participate in school curriculum or activities,” the bill states....

I forgot my password to sign into Intuit when I tried to install TurboTax. I had to call their customer service to get to the page to reset the password. Their representative sent me an email with a link to enter some information. They require you to send a picture of your license or passport before you can reset the password. This seem excessive just to reset a password. Has anyone had any experiences like this? Thanks

President Biden told reporters Friday that the US-Mexico border is not secure — contradicting Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas — after endorsing “massive changes” in immigration policy. “No, it’s not,” Biden said when asked whether the frontier was secure following remarks to a bipartisan group of mayors in the White House East Room. During his speech, the 81-year-old Biden said he hoped for Senate negotiators to announce a compromise next week on border policy as part of a broader $106 billion supplemental spending request that would also finance military aid for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. “I believe we need significant...

Long story short, then, we love Flight Simulator. There’s just one problem, though, and it’s a fairly big one. What happens when you run out of ideas? As a sandbox, the game is great. Choose where to start, choose where to end, and enjoy the flight. But not everybody is comfortable with setting their own parameters like that in a game. Some people play games for the satisfaction of completing challenges set for them. In other words, some players like being told what to do and seeing if they can successfully do it. The 2020 release has some of this...

VIDEOIan Miles Cheong, watching the performance of the Idiot Son of evil billionaire George Soros, Alex Soros at a World Economic Forum panel obsessing over Trump, speculated about whether he was high. In fact, as you can see from these zoomed in shots of the Idiot Son, Alex's problem seems to be way beyond being merely high. "Just Plain Nuts" could be the most accurate assessment of what is wrong with him.

If the future's electric, why isn't the past? Think a little bit about that simple-sounding question and you'll understand what science is all about and why it matters so much to humankind. Consider this: the ancient Greeks knew some basic things about electricity over 2500 years ago, yet they didn't have electric cookers or fridges, computers or vacuum cleaners. How come? Electricity is just the same as it was back then: it works in exactly the same way. What's changed is that we understand how it works now and we've figured out effective ways to use it for our own...

E. Jean Carroll's second suit against former President Donald Trump for defamation of character took an ugly turn this week when it was discovered that she had deleted evidence that had been subpoenaed by Trump's defense team. On the witness stand Carroll admitted that she deleted the subpoenaed emails because she didn't want to upset her lawyers. Following this admission of illegally destroying evidence, Trump's lawyer Alina Habba moved for a mistrial. Presiding Judge Lewis Kaplan denied the mistrial request, saying that "the requested evidence is irrelevant. It is beyond dispute that Trump continues to contend that he is innocent...

Administrators at a Minneapolis high school canceled classes Friday after a pair of allegedly “race-fueled” fights Thursday between African-American and Somali students that drew in parents and resulted in the arrests of two adults. CrimeWatchMinneapolis reported that a fight initially broke out between groups of African-American and Somali students at St. Louis Park High School. The school said in a statement that the first incident, which took place during the latter part of the school day, was broken up by teachers and staff. “Unfortunately, the situation escalated further at the end of the school day when adults (not SLP employees),...

A liberal from New Hampshire made credible threats to kill a Republican member of Congress, contacting them directly. This week, he was sentenced to probation and a whopping $500 fine at the request of the Biden appointed federal prosecutor. Meanwhile, a conservative was sentenced to 7 months in prison for making a meme. Democrats are actively engaging in lawfare, and it won’t end until Republican prosecutors do the same. #Biden

This date in 250 is the feast day and traditional martyrdom date for Pope (and Saint) Fabian(us). “They say,” quoth ecclesiastical historian Eusebius, “that Fabianus having come, after the death of Anteros, with others from the country, was staying at Rome, and that while there he was chosen to the office through a most wonderful manifestation of divine and heavenly grace.” For when all the brethren had assembled to select by vote him who should succeed to the episcopate of the church, several renowned and honorable men were in the minds of many, but Fabianus, although present, was in the...

PORTLAND, OR — Local Woman Kiera Thompson left her gym frustrated after a few male patrons glanced her way, despite the fact that she had gone there specifically so they would glance her way. "Ugh! I wore my skimpiest workout outfit, put my hair in a high ponytail, and spent the entire time lifting weights right where all the dudes work out, and a few of them, you know, glanced in my direction!" Thompson lamented. "I mean, can't a girl in skin-tight yoga pants and a pretty much non-existent top work out in peace without guys noticing she's practically naked?"...

The United States has a wealthy, partisan elite class that’s not only immune from and numb to the problems of their countrymen, but enormously confident in and willing to impose unpopular policies on them. This is a recipe for disaster. The problem is starkly illustrated in a new survey Scott Rasmussen conducted on behalf of the Committee to Unleash Prosperity, which divided respondents between elites (people with at least one postgraduate degree, earning more than $150,000, living in ZIP codes where the population density exceeds 10,000 per square mile) and the general public. Rasmussen also recorded the responses of a...

Hailing from Queens, New York, The Shangri-Las was composed of two pairs of sisters: Mary and Betty Weiss and Marge and Mary Ann Gangser. As teenagers (Mary was just 15 years old), the quartet signed a record deal Red Bird Records and were teamed with producer George “Shadow” Morton. They experienced almost immediate success, achieving a pair of hit singles in quick succession. Released in August 1964, “Remember (Walking in the Sand)” hit No. 5 in the US and No. 14 in the UK. (Billy Joel, then an unknown session musician, played on an early demo version of the song.)...

First Lady Jill Biden's political advance team was ridiculed on social media after she appeared to speak at a local high school in Utah, named Hunter High. While visiting the Beehive State to attend a fundraiser for President Biden, the first lady stopped by the school in West Valley City, southwest of Salt Lake City, to visit faculty and hear the school choir perform. During her visit, Biden — a former teacher for over 30 years — spoke about the value of education and the importance of educators. But observers on social media were distracted by the rather unfortunate placement...
