A onetime Miami Proud Boy and former Miami-Dade Republican Executive Committee member has been convicted of two felonies for storming the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. As a mob of Trump supporters descended upon the Capitol on January 6, 2021, Gabriel Garcia hopped on Facebook live to record himself inside the building while he taunted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to "come out and play." Sporting a red Make America Great Again cap, he allegedly encouraged other members of the crowd to flood into the building and called police "Fucking traitors." The former U.S. Army captain and ex-Proud Boy leader...

The Biden Justice Department is taking some heat after praising the conviction of a 75-year-old pro-life activist for an alleged crime that took place three years ago but so far ignoring hundreds of violent anti-Israel rioters that pepper-sprayed police last week. Last week U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Matthew Graves announced the conviction of Paula "Paulette" Harlow, 75, of Kingston, Massachusetts, for a "federal conspiracy against rights" and Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act violations for participating in a protest at an abortion clinic in 2020. Graves said Harlow and a group of eight others "conspired...

To listen to Joe Scarborough today, you can imagine the Morning Joe host fretting that if Donald Trump were re-elected, he would replace turkey pardoning with an Execution o' the Week ceremony! Scare-mongering Scarborough predicted that —given the chance—Trump would "execute" as many people as he could get away with. Get the rest of the story and view the video here.

Xi Jinping’s communist regime will “fail” as China’s economic woes go underestimated, a foreign policy expert has warned. Gordon Chang, a senior fellow at the Gatestone Institute, claimed Beijing was facing a number of crises and could turn to conflict to alleviate the pressures. He told GB News: “I think that the problems that we see in China are worse than people perceive. I don't think Xi Jinping has solutions to them or I should say more precisely, his solutions are making problems worse. So I do see a failure of the communist regime.” Chang highlighted how company debt defaults,...

Mainstream publications have fired another salvo of articles this week conveying a cratering outlook for Ukraine. Let’s take a run through the gamut to see just how urgently the tone has shifted, and what it portends. The first piece is from Foreign Affairs—the official journal of the CFR—written by CFR ex-president Richard Haass (remember him?). Note the deliberately chosen cemetery motif to define the tone: It lays out the urgency in no uncertain terms, using very direct language to exhort the U.S. and allies into immediately reorienting Ukraine’s posture from an offensive to a defensive one. Ukraine and the West...

Two private planes collided on the runway of a Houston airport early last week. Luckily, no one was seriously injured, and the ultimate nightmare scenario of a midair collision did not transpire. Investigators are still looking into the incident, though early reports suggest the air traffic controllers were responsible. ... “We just had a midair,” the pilot of the Hawker is heard saying in an audio recording posted on LiveATC.net, which shares live and archived recordings of air traffic control radio transmissions. Someone in the control tower responds by saying, “Say what?” “You guys cleared somebody to take off or...

Welcome to Muck IslandThe sacking of Bishop Strickland brings to mind the sad plot of Brian Moore’s novella "Catholics".I watched the EWTN interview of Bishop Strickland last night and had nightmares while I slept. The bishop, articulate and, to my mind, innocent of all irony, recounted what had happened in his process of deposition and professed his recognition of the pope’s authority and his obedience to his removal from office. The sincerity of the man’s confusion about why he was singled out was piercing. Many sources have hinted at “administrative” reasons without any real evidence. The fact that the protocol...

Congress is closing in on an effective ban of a China-based genomics company accused of stealing Americans' DNA and exploiting Covid to collect genetic data. The Beijing Genomics Institute, now known as BGI Group, is one of the largest genomic sequencing companies in the world and is listed by the Pentagon as a 'Chinese military company.' Republicans in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), Congress' must-pass legislation that sets military policy for the year, launched an effort to ban the firm from doing business with any company that takes U.S. government contracts in what could be a major jolt to...

More than half of Americans believe Joe Biden is directly implicated in his son Hunter's business dealings, despite the White House's insistent denials, according to a new poll. Sixty percent of respondents said they believed Joe 'helped and participated in Hunter Biden’s business,' while 40 percent said they did not think the president helped or participated, according to a new Harvard CAPS-Harris poll. Republicans were more likely than Democrats to think Joe Biden was involved in his son's deals - 81 percent of GOP voters thought he was implicated compared to 39 percent of Democrats.

The "polluter elite" are disproportionately driving climate change, according to a new report — with the wealthiest 1% of people in the world putting out as much carbon pollution as the poorest two-thirds. The report, by The Guardian, the international charity Oxfam and the Stockholm Environment Institute, found that climate change and "extreme inequality" have become "interlaced, fused together and driving one another." The report also found that the richest 10% percent of people worldwide made up roughly half of emissions that year. "It would take about 1,500 years for someone in the bottom 99% to produce as much carbon...

Good afternoon everyone. I hope everyone is gearing up for the Thanksgiving holiday and ready to have a great time. I wanted to keep this post short but I wanted to seek your opinions about supplements for treating Long Covid. As many of you know I contracted Covid and pneumonia early last year, and developed Long Covid late last year which resulted in me having to retire this past spring. I have purchased several supplements over the past two years that I/we were told could possibly help treat the symptoms of Covid-19 & Long Covid, but which never really helped....

Sen. Rand Paul, who has publicly criticized Dr. Anthony Fauci over the origins of COVID-19 and his advocacy of lockdowns and mandates, goes further in a new book by blaming Dr. Fauci for funding the creation of the virus with U.S. dollars and lying about it to Congress. In interviews about the book, Mr. Paul said he believes Dr. Fauci is a traitor who helped create the pandemic and “without question” belongs in prison. His assessment is dramatic. Mr. Paul, a Kentucky Republican serving his third term in the Senate, makes the case in the pages of “Deception: The Great...
