As we enter the Christmas season in earnest, with decorating, gift shopping, and other seasonal activities keeping us busy, we cannot help but notice the unprecedented level of inflation everywhere we go. There are several reasons for these three years of price hikes, of course. It’s not all caused entirely by a single issue. But there is one major cause that outshines the rest: the cost of diesel fuel. What, you don’t buy diesel, yourself? You don’t have to. In many ways, the American economy itself runs on diesel fuel. There is enough evidence to be sending out red flags.’ There have been many tragedies this year. Phil Thomas, a young graduate of the Cadiz, Spain, flight training academy, fell ill and died suddenly...

The families of Russian men drafted under President Vladimir Putin's partial mobilization last year have planned mass protests demanding their return home, amid reports that soldiers are being prohibited from leaving the military. The soldiers' relatives published a manifesto on the Telegram channel The Way Home on November 12 demanding that their men be allowed home, and inviting Russians nationwide to participate in rallies on November 19. Since 2014, protesters in Russia have faced punishment for holding demonstrations without the permission of the authorities. Joy Behar doesn’t necessarily believe people who say they love both Donald Trump and Jesus. In fact, on Thursday morning’s episode of “The View,” the ABC host argued that “that’s an oxymoron right there.” Behar’s sentiments came as she and her co-hosts were discussing Nikki Haley’s widely criticized proposal to force all social media accounts to be verified. During an interview with Fox News this week, the Republican presidential candidate called anonymous social media accounts a “national security threat” that she would address on “Day 1,” but was quickly dragged on social media for the idea (even by X owner...
