Representative Jamie Raskin (D-MD) said Wednesday on CNN’s “Laura Coates Live” that former President Donald Trump does not need to be criminally convicted of insurrection for the 14th Amendment to disqualify him as president. Raskin said, “The authors of the 14th Amendment themselves dealt with that question. They felt that if someone sets themselves at war against the Constitution, and engages in the most profound anti-democratic act of trying to overthrow an election by installing themselves in office with an insurrection, then at that point, they are constitutionally barred. So, when people say, it is undemocratic what the voters decide,...

Hundreds of scientists working for the state of California to protect water supplies, respond to oil spills, study wildlife and track foodborne outbreaks marched in Sacramento today in what’s being called the first-ever strike by state civil servants. Today was the first day of a three-day “Defiance for Science” rolling strike by more than 4,000 rank-and-file state scientists, who are seeking to close pay gaps with their counterparts in local, federal and other parts of state government.

There’s some real anger spilling over at the Daily Wire this week but I think it’s fair to say this has been building up for a while now. Ben Shapiro, the co-founder of the Daily Wire, has obviously been one of the most outspoken defenders on Israel online. Candace Owens works there as one of their most prominent voices but she’s taken a very different view. For instance, she has argued that the charge of anti-Semitism has been “weaponized” to silence people.

Note: This op-ed was written by Pastor Seth Brickley of Eureka Baptist Church in St. Croix Falls, WI. In the Fall of 2022, Pastor Kliewer, who pastors Cornerstone Church in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, had his ordination censured by the Board of Ministerial Standing of the Free Church. In June at the national conference, he was officially disciplined when the pastors sided with the leadership. Pastor Kliewer was censured because he wrote a book titled, Woke-Free Church, criticizing the Social Justice push by the Free Church leadership. Remarkably the leadership never dealt with the content of Kliewer’s book where he...

Checking in on the West’s slow-motion suicideFor a nation to survive, it must prefer its own culture, traditions, language, history, and folkways above any other. Liberalism strips all of that away. The clash in Gaza has created a crisis of faith for many of those in the West who have dedicated themselves to the liberal project. While the actual conflict is centered many thousands of miles away, a mixture of ideological fanaticism and hubris has convinced most Western nations to import large populations who have carried their centuries-old feud into their new host countries. As Hamas supporters smash the doors of...

[An interesting article from a former leftist. A very interesting perspective.] You wouldn’t know me if you met me in May of 2019, as I drove to a luncheon for Joe Biden sponsored by a big donor at one of the mansions in a wealthy pocket of Los Angeles. I’d been hand-picked as an influencer after rising in the ranks of Team Hillary on social media. I’d thrown myself into politics in 2015, panicking about climate change. “We have to win,” I thought. By the end of 2020, just one year later, I’d have left the Democratic Party for good,...

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley, a former United Nations (U.N.) ambassador, vowed on Wednesday to defund the U.N. “as much as possible” if elected to the Oval Office, but stopped short of saying the U.S. should withdraw from the international organization. Fox News host Sean Hannity in an interview pressed Haley on whether she agreed with the statement that the U.N. has been “historically anti-American and anti-Semitic.”

The owner of the Reedley biolab was/is part of the Chinese Communist Party’s “Military-Civil Fusion” program, and received millions in suspicious dollars from China while stealing American bio-technology, selling unlicensed pregnancy and COVID tests, and squirreling away thousands of vials of deadly pathogens.

Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trvX07puB0EAs of Tuesday afternoon, there were two reports of potential voter fraud—or stolen ballots— in Lawrence Officials are looking into allegations of possible voter fraud in Lawrence, Massachusetts, and NBC10 Boston has obtained video footage from a man’s home that appears to show a woman removing ballots from his mailbox. The man, who did not want to be identified, said he went to vote in person on Election Day last week and was told, according to the list, he already voted. So, he checked his camera footage and then contacted the police. The Essex County District Attorney’s Office and...

The CEO of Rockstar owner Take-Two has talked about changing the way video games are paid for. Grand Theft Auto 6’s first trailer is fast approaching, after developer Rockstar announced it’ll reveal the first glimpse of the game in ‘early December’. Exactly when is still unknown, but The Game Awards on the 8th seem a strong possibility. The game’s price is also of interest, although it’ll almost certainly cost £69.99, which is what most new AAA games are priced at now. But during a recent investment call Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said that big budget video games should be more...

Former Minneapolis police Officer Derek Chauvin is arguing that new evidence proves he did not cause the 2020 death of George Floyd as part of an attempt to overturn his federal civil rights conviction. Chauvin said he would never have pleaded guilty to the 2021 charge if he was aware of the theories from a Kansas pathologist with whom he began corresponding earlier this year, according to a motion filed in federal court this week, The Associated Press reported. Chauvin is requesting the judge who oversaw his trial to toss his conviction and order a new trial or an evidentiary...

After Ohio’s Issue 1 vote legalized abortion with no gestational limit, the pro-abortion lobby is planning to put similar referendums on the ballots of many other states. As of November 14, pro-abortion initiatives are guaranteed to be on the ballots of two deep-blue states: Maryland and New York. However, abortion is currently legal in both states until so-called “fetal viability” – which is usually defined as falling between 23 and 24 weeks of pregnancy. Loopholes allow killing babies in abortions up to birth in both states. In many other states, the prospect of putting abortion to a vote next year...

Unfortunately this isn’t satire. A video is circulating on Twitter that features a TikTok user teaching viewers how to “practice abortion as a magical ritual.” The user who created the video lists “they’s” name as Valkyrja Vörðr and is supposedly a “witch.” “I am a witch who has had abortions and has used them as rituals,” she began. Supposedly abortion rituals are “birthing magic” and “death magic” at the same time. To make matters weirder the witch used the phrase “womb body” instead of woman. Unfortunately, this isn’t satire. Due to decades of secrecy in the Roman Catholic Church and the reluctance of some victims to come forward, it is impossible to identify every abuser. However, our team at Abuselawsuit.com has built an extensive, nationwide searchable database of clergy members and priests accused of abuse.

Before creating another “Palestinian state,” let’s consider its chance of success. We’ve had several different Arab states in and around Palestine. All failed, some disastrously. Will yet another Palestinian state envisioned by Anthony Blinken or some think tank become just one more “failed state,” indeed a state destined to fail? Yasser Arafat’s PLO operates a corrupt and failing state-in-waiting on Israel’s eastern flank, in an area commonly called “the West Bank.” It has failed in everything but terror for 30 years. Well-meaning Israeli leftists, backed by well-meaning U.S. think-tanks and State Department officials, believed Arafat and the PLO had become...

en. John Kennedy (R-LA) once again turned law professor when he quizzed President Biden’s nominee for a district judgeship in Oklahoma about her knowledge of basic legal terms. During a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, the senator asked Sara E. Hill to explain the difference between a “stay” order and an “injunction.” "A stay order would prohibit, um, sorry. An injunction would restrain the parties from taking action. A stay order … I'm not sure I can, actually can, can give you that," she answered. According to the Legal Information Institute, "An injunction is a court order requiring a person to...

The Biden administration is partnering with a coalition of organizations, two of which falsely accused Border Patrol agents of whipping illegal immigrants in September 2021, a Daily Caller News Foundation review of the groups’ previous statements found. The State Department partnered with Welcome.US, a coalition of nonprofit groups, corporations and former politicians, in September 2021 to provide aid to new Afghan refugees seeking sponsors, housing and jobs. The initiative includes the Haitian Bridge Alliance and Amnesty International, both of which made the false accusation that Border Patrol agents on horseback whipped Haitian migrants in Del Rio, Texas, which the Biden...
