There’s trouble in Fulton County, Georgia as two high-powered criminal defense attorneys have suddenly filed a motion to withdraw from a 2020 election case. Criminal Defense Attorneys Donald F. Samuel and Amanda R. Clark Palmer have motioned to withdraw themselves from the Favorito v. Wan case, according to the motion. Rasmussen speculated that the lawyers reportedly motioning to withdraw may have something to do with “missing” mail ballots. “These 150,000 still secret 2020 unfolded mail ballots with the perfect ovals protected by court order for 3 years may have gone missing, and the county’s lawyers have just quit,” Rasmussen posted...

The Metropolitan Police is preparing for an unprecedented security operation ahead of a pro-Palestinian demonstration in London on Saturday. The force expects the march - which coincides with Armistice Day - to be the largest yet, and has warned there is a risk of clashes. Pro-Palestinian protesters gathering near the Cenotaph can be arrested under sweeping measures announced by the Met. Rishi Sunak has repeated his view the timing of the march is "disrespectful". He urged protesters to be "mindful of the fear and distress in Jewish and Muslim communities" when they gather on Saturday, and said he had been...

Luke 16:1-8 Friends, in today’s Gospel, Jesus praises a steward who cheats his master. Now, what do we make of this? It seems so peculiar especially in Luke’s Gospel, where Jesus has been teaching the radical message of detachment from worldly goods. But here he is giving his approval to a man who clings to wealth in an immoral way. Well, what gives? Jesus wants us to see that this steward takes a hard look at his situation and decides to do something about it. Now, the Lord is not telling us to imitate his immorality. But what Jesus admires...

Georgia, Oregon and Washington election officials have all received some forms of threats over the past few weeks. A letter, post-marked from Portland, read “Stop giving power to the right that they don’t have. We are in charge now and there is no more need for them.” and it included the three arrows symbol (Leftist antifascists/Antifa). At least one letter had powder. For instance, this photo (obtained by the Taxpayers Association of Oregon) from this summer in Athens, Greece during their elections shows an anarchist flyer calling for people to burn the ballot boxes. In 2019, Greek anarchists actually burned...

An analyst, who was once dubbed the 'Oracle of Wall Street', has warned how not owning homes hurts the 'avocado toast generation.' Meredith Whitney, who is known for successfully forecasting the 2008 financial crisis, said that younger Millennials and Gen Z have missed out on $21 trillion in equity which older generations have built in home ownership. We are seeing record low homeownership levels for those under 38,' she told DailyMail.com. 'Homeownership has been a forced savings vehicle in the US, but particularly in the last 12 or 15 years, because interest rates have effectively been at zero. We have...

More than half of the U.S. and parts of Canada, home to around 180 million people, could fall short of electricity during extreme cold again this winter due to lacking natural gas infrastructure, the North American Electric Reliability Corp (NERC) said on Wednesday. In its 2023-24 winter outlook, the regulatory authority warned that prolonged, wide-area cold snaps threaten the reliability of bulk power generation and availability of fuel supplies for natural gas-fired generation. “Recent extreme cold weather events have shown that energy delivery disruptions can have devastating consequences for electric and gas consumers in impacted areas,” NERC said.

HOUSTON – Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo [aka County Supervisor] fired back Friday after the Texas Rangers [police force, not baseball team] opened a new public corruption investigation tied to “concealed” records subpoenaed during a grand jury’s review of the federal indictments of three of her high-level staff members. The records subpoenaed are related to the investigation launched last year into how the county’s nearly $11 million COVID-19 outreach contract was awarded to a local woman’s LLC.In a news conference streamed live on Click2Houston.com, Hidalgo said she wanted to call out the truth, as well as “what’s false.” She accused Harris...

With every hour that passes, Donald Trump’s grip on the Republican Party’s 2024 presidential nomination grows tighter. US tax brackets will rise by around 5.4 percent next year in line with inflation, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has confirmed. From 2024, the lowest tax rate of 10 percent will apply to those earning up to $11,600, up from $11,000 this year. Meanwhile the highest rate of 37 percent will now apply to workers whose salaries exceed $609,350, up from $578,125 in 2023. Middle-income thresholds all saw similar rises. These higher thresholds could mean savings for millions of workers across all income brackets. They will apply to the 2024 tax year - meaning returns filed in 2025. The...

The Council on American–Islamic Relations (CAIR), a Muslim civil rights and advocacy group, has called on US President Joe Biden to pressure the Israeli government to release Palestinian activist Ahed Tamimi. Tamimi, 22, was arrested by Israel on Monday after she posted on Instagram that Palestinians would slaughter Israeli “settlers.” “Come on settlers, we will slaughter you. We are waiting for you in all the cities of the West Bank. What Hitler did to you was a picnic. We will drink your blood and eat your skulls,” the post read in both Arabic and Hebrew…. “The Council on American-Islamic Relations...

A majority of American adults would not be willing to serve in the military were the U.S. to enter into a major war, recent polling has found, while public confidence in the armed forces appears to be waning. The figures come as all branches of the armed forces have in recent years struggled to meet their recruitment targets, suggesting a growing apathy towards a career of military service. In 2023, the Army and Air Force fell short of their respective goals by around 10,000 recruits, while the Navy was under by 6,000. Since 1987, the number of active-duty personnel has fallen...

Adams campaign attorney Boyd Johnson said an internal City Hall review discovered that “an individual had recently acted improperly” and it was immediately reported to the FBI, which triggered the seizure. “After learning of the federal investigation, it was discovered that an individual had recently acted...

A viral post on X has rocked the foundations of the entire Trump “fraud” case. In our Universe, all stable atomic nuclei have protons in them; there's no stable "neutronium" at all. But what's the reason why? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In theory, any type of baryon, or entity made of three quarks, can bind together to any other type of baryon. However, while protons-and-neutrons can bind together to form stable bound states (like atomic nuclei), neutrons-and-neutrons and protons-and-protons do not. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ KEY TAKEAWAYS Here in our Universe, all atomic nuclei, stable and unstable, are made up of protons and neutrons, with light nuclei often having equal amounts of both and heavier nuclei having more neutrons than protons....

Democrats are lying to Americans about abortion. They are both dishonest about where Republicans stand on the issue and misrepresenting their own position. Since they intend to make abortion a key issue in the 2024 election, it is important to set the record straight. Simply put, most Republicans are moving toward where the majority of Americans are, wanting abortion to be legal but limited to the first 15 weeks of pregnancy. For proof, look no further than the stance of former president Donald Trump, who is leading the GOP primary race by a wide margin; he has called Florida’s six-week...
