A court in Malawi has ordered a Chinese national to leave the country in seven days after being found guilty of racial discrimination against children. The court had sentenced 26-year-old Lu Ke to one year in prison for selling exploitative videos of Malawian children. State lawyers say Lu Ke has since paid his victims compensation, but Malawian child rights campaigners say the punishment is not enough. The sentence comes after prosecutors amended some of the charges. Lu Ke, also known as Susu, was initially charged with child trafficking, illegal use of the internet and procurement of children for use of...

Speaking after meeting African leaders in St Petersburg, he said an African peace initiative as well as a Chinese one could serve as a basis for this. President Putin also said it was hard to implement a ceasefire when the Ukrainian army was on the offensive. Ukraine and Russia have previously said they will not come to the negotiating table without certain preconditions. Ukraine wants its borders as they were in 1991 to be reinstated, something the Kremlin is deeply opposed to. Moscow argues instead that for negotiations to take place, Kyiv would have to accept its country's "new territorial...

Central bank digital currencies are feverishly being developed all over the globe, and this is something that should deeply alarm all of us. For a moment, I would like for you to imagine a world where the government instantly knows whenever you buy or sell something. No transaction would ever be truly private, not even your most personal or embarrassing ones. In addition, your money would not be truly your own under such a system. Your access to the digital currency system would be a privilege which could potentially be suspended or revoked with the click of a mouse. All...

In order to optimize traffic flow through city streets, municipalities often install car-counting cameras or other sensors at a few set locations. A new study, however, suggests that using existing bus-mounted cameras may be a better way to go. Most city buses are already equipped with forward-facing cameras for the same reason that many private vehicles are – to document any accidents in which they may be involved. Such cameras are in use on the buses utilized at The Ohio State University campus, which is laid out a bit like a small city. MORE STORIES Gaia adds some loading versatility...

The Biden administration has launched a two-pronged attack against the right to bear arms in America – and Congressional Republicans made it possible. Regardless of what certain lawmakers intended, and despite all their assurances this wouldn’t happen, the Biden administration is using the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA) of 2022 to both bribe states into creating red flag laws and withhold federal funding for schools with hunting and archery programs. So the Biden administration is buying gun control at the state level. Shocked? Don’t be. This isn’t the first time federal funding has been used to control the states. Safer...

Bernalillo County Sheriff John Allen physically fought and detained a suspected shoplifter on Friday evening while with his family at a sporting goods store on the West Side. "Two individuals wisely chose to abandon the items and leave the store," BCSO said on Twitter. Deputies said the third shoplifter hit the sheriff twice before being taken to the ground by Allen. This week, members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) held a press conference to highlight how Blacks are under assault in America. Examples cited by CBC Chairman Rep. Steven Horsford (D-Nev) included "Alabama's refusal to create a second majority-Black congressional district and Florida's new education guidelines requiring that students be told of the valuable work skills Blacks learned as slaves." "It isn't only state level Republicans who are to blame," Horsford complained. "Rep. Eli Crane (R-Ariz) used the words 'colored people' to refer to Blacks and Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala) says it's okay for white nationalists to serve in the...

JUST FOR TODAY As I go through some "troubles" in my own life, I've worked out this "formula" to help me be a useful and happy person. See if it doesn't work for you! JUST FOR TODAY: I will try to live through this day only, and not tackle my whole life problem at once. JUST FOR TODAY: I will be happy. I will assume to be true what Abraham Lincoln said: "Most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be". JUST FOR TODAY: I will try to strengthen my mind. I will study. I...

Brain-damaged Democrat Senator John Fetterman (PA) short-circuited during an interview with the New York Times this week. Fetterman, 53, spent two months at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center receiving treatment for clinical depression this year after having a massive stroke last May. John Fetterman has brain damage and can barely string a sentence together. The New York Times asked Fetterman how he has adjusted to life as a senator. “Everyone here is cynical, of course. But we can fight for things that are meaningful. That we should have no hungry. Hanger. Hangry. Hanger. Hangry,” Fetterman said. “Fox News will...

On Friday, James O’Keefe published his interview with Democratic presidential candidate Robert Kennedy, Jr. The two luminaries discussed lawsuits, Anthony Fauci, Fear as a political tool, the FBI, the presidency and more. The interview was posted on Twitter and YouTube. Unfortunately, YouTube took the video down saying, “This video has been removed for violating YouTube’s Community Guidelines.” YouTube is doing its best to interfere in the 2024 election. They are afraid of Robert Kennedy, Jr. The more you hear him the more you agree. Again, this is election interference.

It’s not at all surprising that a powerful, corrupt political family may want to threaten someone who is about to “sing” to authorities under oath. The Iowa affiliate of the Republican National Committee (RNC) and the organizers of the RNC Lincoln Day Dinner in Des Moines, thought they would be cute by using a snarky song for the entrance music of President Donald John Trump.Relax, we got this. There are more of us than them, and they hate us for it. Their efforts are laughable and will backfire as base voters are wide-eyed and awake to the Machiavellian constructs the RNC is famous for in their quest to control the illusion of choice. The RNC is as fake and phony as the astroturf under the...
