For decades, huge bundles of cocaine have washed up on Florida beaches, having been smuggled from South and Central America. Hauls are often dumped at sea (both to give to smugglers and evade law enforcement), and currents and tides push them to shore. In June, the U.S. Coast Guard seized over 14,100 pounds (6,400 kilograms) of cocaine in the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean, with an estimated value of $186 million. With so much cocaine entering the waters, Tom "The Blowfish" Hird wanted to find out whether the thousands of sharks off Florida were ingesting the dumped narcotics, and —...

Now look at them Bozos, that’s the way you do it. You dump on Trump on C-Span TV. That ain’t working, that’s the way you do it. Money from donors and your trips for free. Ah yes, a little Dire Straits for a nation in dire straits. Every four years, America holds a presidential election, and every four years a bunch of people with no chance of winning enter the race and raise money. They do so because they can spend the money they raise pretty much as they want. It beats working for a living. The federal government used...

The Secret Service recently concluded its investigation into the cocaine scandal that rocked the White House earlier this month. No suspect was identified and the Secret Service didn’t interview any of the more than 500 potential culprits. GOP Congressman Tim Burchett said the Secret Service destroyed all the DNA evidence after they blew up...

On Thursday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” House Minority Whip Rep. Katherine Clark (D-MA) argued that “what’s dangerous about” Republicans investigating the handling of the Hunter Biden probe “is that the American people and their needs are not part of their agenda, and they want to focus on this political theater.” Co-host Joe Scarborough asked, “[W]e have House Republicans bringing in arms dealers, Chinese agents, people that illegally smuggle Iranian oil. Now, we have these so-called whistleblowers who are saying, yeah, we’re really angry. It’s really terrible what Trump’s IRS people did and Trump’s attorney general did and Trump’s prosecutor...

The House Oversight Committee hearing on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) next week will be centered on transparency, a bipartisan group of lawmakers said Thursday. The committee hearing, spearheaded by Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.), will investigate the increase in sightings of UAPs and their impact on national security. Burchett said the lack of information from the government — during Republican and Democratic administrations — has eroded public trust. “This hearing is going to be different. We’re going to have witnesses who can speak frankly to the public about their experiences,” Burchett said. “We’ve had a heck of a lot of pushback...

Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) said Thursday on PBS’s “Firing Line” that she would vote for her colleague, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), if the 2024 election were between him, President Joe Biden, and former President Donald Trump. Host Margaret Hoover asked, “Your Democratic colleague, Joe Manchin, is being courted by an outside effort to run independently in the 2024 election. This has been called by the organization No Labels, an insurance policy. Do you see any scenario where a third-party candidacy isn’t a spoiler for Donald Trump and just returns him to the White House?”

How exactly did this happen? “Sound of Freedom” crossing the $100 million mark at the domestic box-office is some kind of achievement. It’s the highest earning independently-financed film of the year, by a long shot. It’s made more money than Oscar contenders “Tar,” “The Fabelmans,” “The Banshees of Inisherin,” “Women Talking” “Til,” and “Triangle of Sadness” combined. “Sound of Freedom” is set to make another $22-25 million this weekend. A domestic total of $200 million isn’t entirely out of the realm of possibilities, especially with the legs that it’s showing. When all is said and done, will it manage to...
