Few subjects seem less political than math. There is little room for subjective judgment because its truths are universal. No matter what you look like or where you’re from or how you feel about it, two plus two will always equal four, and the area of a circle will always be π r². Math is so objective, in fact, some scientists have theorized that prime numbers could offer the basis of communication with supposed intelligent life elsewhere in the cosmos. However, even if aliens know that math has no racial or gender bias, some educators on Earth seem to think...

National Security Minister responds to US President's claim Israel's government the most extreme ever on Judea and Samaria National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir spoke at an event honoring the Chabad movement in the Knesset today (Monday) during which he responded to the latest criticism of the Israeli government by US President Joe Biden. "The things that US President (Biden) said yesterday, the US is a wonderful friend to us and we love (the Americans). But I say from here to President Biden: 'The Land of Israel is for the People of Israel, according to the Torah of Israel," Ben-Gvir...

Of course it's Hunter's cocaine. Everyone knows it, especially the Biden's. It was odd that the 53 year old Hunter Biden suddenly became a dependent resident of the White House as details of his tax evasion poured out. It's absolutely and totally incredible to suggest that we may never know who the culprit is. KJP won't flat out deny that the coke belongs to the Bidens, instead making some idiotic reference to the Hatch Act. KJP then went on to invoke a lie when calling a question about the presence of the Bidens in the White House "incredible irresponsible." .@NYPost's...

The propaganda ministry is in full spin mode, trying to explain why Joe Biden is parading around the world with Hunter in tow. The two are together for state dinners, overseas junkets, and weekends at Camp David. As the narrative goes, Hunter is a troubled man, victimized by the demon of addiction. Any appearance of presidential impropriety is simply a loving father concerned about his son, holding him close to keep him out of trouble. I say hogwash. Organized crime bosses protect themselves from legal jeopardy by insulating themselves from the dirty work. They use underlings to sell their product,...

WASHINGTON — Midway through the third year of his first term as president, things were not looking good for Ronald Reagan. His approval rating was consistently anemic as the nation struggled with high inflation. Voters gave him especially poor marks for his handling of the economy. And as he began his reelection campaign, people were openly questioning if he was too old for the job. But four decades ago, Reagan went on to win a second term by running on a theme of economic renewal that his campaign famously branded as “Morning in America.” Now, noting the similarities to President...

America’s never-ending quest for inclusion has now turned its attention to supposedly offensive school nicknames and mascots. Native American names are a particular target of this ire—Braves, Warriors, Chiefs together with individual tribes such as the Seminoles or Illini. The latest installment of this “anti-hate” push has occurred in New York State where these purportedly offensive names, logos, and mascots were banned in public schools as of April of 2023, or schools will lose state funding. As of March 2022, 133 New York schools had such Indian names and New York is hardly alone in exorcising allegedly hateful stereotypes. According...

My dog has a behavioral issue, and gets loose from time to time and kills cats... two so far. This is something that is making neighbors angry, obviously. Clearly the dog cannot stay here. She is also perhaps the stupidest dog I have ever owned and is completely untrainable. We have successfully housebroken her. However, for the eating ritual, she WAS sitting when commanded, and began eating on the release command 'Okay', but she forgot half that training and now just stares at you when you release her. Obviously we would never be able to train her not to kill...

No matter how many crimes occur in Chicago every day – carjackings, muggings, drug deals, political corruption – these rarely make the news, other than in reports of crime statistics. We hear numbers; we rarely learn the victims’ names. There are just too many of them. It’s the rarest of crimes – the incidents of severe police misconduct - that make the news. And the news of the day is a particularly disturbing story. The story broke on Thursday, July 6 that at least one Chicago police officer was being investigated for having sexual contact with illegal aliens (the press...

Ten years ago, in Paris for the first time, I left my hotel for a walk along the Champs-Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe. I wasn’t on the street ten minutes before a Moroccan or an Algerian gentleman walking in the opposite direction bent over to pick up something on the sidewalk. That something turned out to be a large gold coin that he immediately held up to my face. Speaking in broken English, the man proceeded to tell me a story about the “found” coin, and how it could be mine if only I paid him so many Euros....

The world has spun too fast, lost its moorings, rudderless we drift into vacant seas, storm clouds gather. America is adrift, we can all feel it. So many crises afflict us, it is as if a wave has crested and all we can do is stand in its wake and weigh the damage, absent memories of what came before. Where to start but in some reflective thoughts on the passing of these times. Lost connections are the curse of our days. The rise of mental illness, depression, suicide, particularly among our youth, rising drug addiction, lowering life expectancy, the...

The Left will fight to the death for the right of the government to silence you. When Judge Terry Doughty issued an injunction in Missouri v. Biden that banned the government from “specifically flagging content or posts on social-media platforms and/or forwarding such to social-media companies urging, encouraging, pressuring, or inducing in any manner for removal, deletion, suppression”, all hell broke loose. Evelyn Douek, a Stanford law professor, formerly of the Knight First Amendment Institute, warned that preventing the government from colluding with corporations to censor citizens would have a “chilling effect on communication between the government and platforms.” In...

(Daily readings from the USCCB)A woman suffering hemorrhages for twelve years came up behind him and touched the tassel on his cloak. She said to herself, “If only I can touch his cloak, I shall be cured.” Jesus turned around and saw her, and said, “Courage, daughter! Your faith has saved you.” And from that hour the woman was cured. Matthew 9:20–21What a tremendous amount of faith this woman had! She had suffered for many years and continued to suffer with her hemorrhages. How did she know that touching Jesus’ cloak would cure her? The only answer to that is...

Bidenomics relied on massive Federal spending thanks to Covid and massive monetary expansion. This led to the highest inflation in 40 years (Bidenflation). But now The Fed is slowing M2 Money growth into negative territory and hiking their target rate. The result? Bank credit growth has crashed to 0.5% YoY. In other words, banks are no longer expanding credit for the first time since the aftermanth of The Great Recession and Financial Crisis of 2008/2009. Of course, Washington DC bailed out their bestest buddies, the banks, while middle America suffered. As America loses steam under Biden and The Fed, 41+...

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s weaker-than-expected campaign is prompting other Republicans, such as Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin and Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, to take a new look at running for president, GOP strategists say. These Republicans argue that DeSantis, long seen as the strongest potential challenger in a GOP primary to former President Trump, has failed to establish himself as the clear alternative. “I think his high point was right after the last election, when he was the brightest spot on an otherwise somewhat disappointing night for Republicans,” said GOP strategist Vin Weber, commenting on the big DeSantis reelection victory for...

President Joe Biden has again been accused of delivering angry, abusive outbursts against his own staff when behind closed doors, a report Monday details. Axios reporter Alex Thompson laid out the accusations in a piece headlined — “Old yeller: Biden’s private fury” The story makes the point Biden likes to portray himself as a kindly figure given to eating ice cream and chatting to small children in public but in private he is reportedly prone to yelling invective. Thompson states: Behind closed doors, Biden has such a quick-trigger temper that some aides try to avoid meeting alone with him. Some...

Officers arrived on scene and were told by the homeowner his phone alerted him Kamau was on the property. The homeowner reportedly retreated to his truck to call...
