An organization called “Flee Red States” is helping LGBT people who live in Republican-dominated states find homes in “less hostile” states, and even in different countries. Really. Real estate broker Bob McCranie started the service in Texas. McCranie called it a “sad thing” to have to change the nature of his business from selling Texan homes to helping residents find housing elsewhere but said it was necessary because Texas legislation is “unsafe” for LGBT people.
