The Biden administration is working on new regulations that would require airlines to compensate passengers and cover their meals and hotel rooms if they are stranded for reasons within the airline’s control. The White House said President Joe Biden and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg would announce the start of the rulemaking process Monday. The rulemaking pledge continues a push by the Democratic administration to require airlines to improve customer service, and it comes just weeks before the start of the peak summer travel season. The aim of the rules would be, for the first time, to require airlines to pay...

Genetically-altered pigs are now on the menu. The United States Food and Drug Administration has authorized gene-edited pigs entrance into the food chain for human consumption—as German-style sausages. Gene-editing can make changes in an organism’s DNA that could occur in nature or through selective breeding but would take much longer without a tool like CRISPR. The FDA authorization is investigational, and limited to these particular pigs, but shows that gene-editing livestock to quickly produce desirable traits for improved food production is a viable strategy for helping feed the planet’s growing population. “It’s important for a university to set the precedent...

The Education Department on Monday said over 615,000 student-loan borrowers have had debts forgiven through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program since October 2021 due to policy changes made by the Biden administration. The government has forgiven a total of $42 billion in loans for public servants since October 2021, the department said. "This is a result of the temporary [Public Service Loan Forgiveness] changes made by the Biden-Harris Administration that made it easier for borrowers to reach forgiveness," the department also said. Under the Trump administration, 7,000 borrowers were approved for the forgiveness program

Bankruptcy-bound Vice Media will reportedly be bought out of Chapter 11 by investors who include billionaire George Soros for about $400 million — after the Brooklyn-based company was once valued at nearly $6 billion. The cash-strapped media company has been prepping for the bankruptcy filing after failing to find a buyer over the past year, The Post reported last week. The company’s post-bankruptcy arrangement will be to sell itself to the Soros Fund Management — founded by the 92-year-old left-wing activist — and Fortress Investment Group in a deal that would value the once-high-flying Vice at just $400 million, the...

The reality was/is that both political corporations do the bidding of their financiers, Wall Street. The battle against the UniParty is always a battle of Main Street -vs- Wall Street.Wall St funds the acceptable candidates from either wing of the UniParty; the candidates best suited to maintain the status quo and keep the elite class in control of the economy and finance. Donald J Trump is the only threat to their interests, so the Wall Street control group fund anyone who can remove the threat.Against this backdrop the Wall Street billionaires and multinational corporations selected Ron DeSantis as their best...

Part of President Joe Biden’s reaction to the mall shooting in Allen, Texas, on Saturday was to go after Republicans by saying, “Tweeted thoughts and prayers are not enough.” He was criticizing responses such as Sen. Ted Cruz’s tweet: Heidi and I are praying for the families of the victims of the horrific mall shooting in Allen, Texas. We pray also for the broader Collin County community that’s in shock from this tragedy. — Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) May 7, 2023 All the details were not known when Cruz sent his tweet, and they still were not known when Biden issued...

If James Comer had a U.S. Marshals badge and a set of handcuffs I would be impressed. Alas, unfortunately Comer is the Chairman of what… Yep, the House Oversight Committee, otherwise known as the “Chaff and Countermeasures Committee” famous for Fast n Furious investigations, IRS investigations, Benghazi investigations, and now Hunter Biden investigations. For the non-pretending among us, an unfortunately very small – albeit intellectually superior rebel alliance, we can overlay the timing of James Comer’s “explosive” and scheduled Wednesday press conference with the DC motive to distract away from the U.S. southern border as Title 42 expires and a million...

The Democratic Party and its media allies continued their campaign to delegitimize the Supreme Court last week, this time attacking Justice Clarence Thomas for the crime of giving love and support to his impoverished great nephew decades ago. Although ethics rules do not require judges to disclose when third parties pay tuition for distant relatives, Democrats want people to believe it is somehow scandalous that Justice Thomas’s personal friend Harlan Crow funded a scholarship for Thomas’s relation at the same school Crow had attended. Crow had no business before the Supreme Court at the time the scholarship was funded, nor...

The hits just keep on coming now that James Comer has had time to investigate the contents of Hunter Biden’s Laptop from Hell, speak to whistleblowers and issue subpoenas. Some of the most interesting material continues to revolve around the infamous letter signed by 51 intelligence agency figures claiming that the laptop was “Russian disinformation” in the final weeks before the 2020 election. We’ve now learned that former CIA chief Michael Morell was responsible for the creation of the letter and the collection of all the signatures when he was working as an advisor to the Biden campaign. But in...

WASHINGTON — Active-duty Marines, soldiers and some airmen will begin arriving at the southern border to perform logistical tasks Wednesday, one day before the expiration of Title 42. “The specific timeline for deployments is still being determined, however, the initial active-duty military personnel will be on the ground on or about May 10, 2023,” US Northern Command said in a statement. “The majority of active duty personnel will come from the US Army and US Marines, although a small number of US Air Force personnel will also deploy.” The troops will come from three battalion-size units — the 2nd Marine...

Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz jumped to Gov. Ron DeSantis’s defense after leaked footage of the governor’s 2018 debate preparations made it to ABC News. In the clip, Rep. Gaetz asked then-Congressman DeSantis, “Is there any issue upon which you disagree with President Trump?”

Sen. Rand Paul's (R-KY) "Support the Reinstatement of Trained and Effective Firefighters" amendment to the "Fire Grants and Safety Act" (S.870), was voted down by a 54-45 margin in the Senate. The purpose of this amendment was to end the embargo on rehiring firefighters who were discharged for refusing to be injected with the experimental covid vaccines. Paul called the votes against his proposed amendment "bizarre. While there was little reason for requiring these low-risk young and healthy individuals to get the jab in the first place, there is no good reason now for barring them from rejoining the firefighting...

I regard him (Bergoglio) as an example of light thinking, a mixture of opportunism and foolish overvaluation of his own person. Nothing to be surprised about, were it not for his unhealthy and unscrupulous passion for office and power. God knows how many were his twists and turns and stoops to get to where he is today and how many were the trappings he donned to achieve his goals. However, there is one predominant feature in his career: his flirtation with leftism in all its variants

(May 8, 2023) — The 2024 presidential election cycle is now underway with a few candidates having already declared their candidacy. Presidential candidates now are required to file the Office of Government Ethics (OGE) Financial Disclosure Form 278e with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) within 30 days of declaring their candidacy. From my experience and from the experience of others who have contacted me with questions about various candidates, several of the candidates are not being responsive to this author and others when sent questions regarding their full life narrative, background, and family history. Their tactic seems to be to...

Authorities in Tulsa are investigating whether a homeless black man shot and killed two white men because of their race. Carlton Gilford allegedly murdered the two strangers he had no connection with on April 18, the Tulsa Police Department told Fox News. Gifford went inside the Rudisill Library around 9:40 a.m., walked up behind Lundin Hathcock, 35, and sadistically shot him in the back of the head, according to cops. Hathcock, who had been sitting at a desk when he was killed, was rushed to a local hospital where he died. Later that day, Gifford went to a nearby QuikTrip...

The president was in deep trouble, and everyone seemed to understand it except for himself and a few zealous aides. As the summer of 1974 wore on, it became obvious to all that the Watergate break-in and the subsequent widespread cover-up that followed had politically and legally ensnared President Richard Nixon in a trap from which there was no viable escape. A growing number of senior Republicans feared Nixon was too isolated from reality and quite possibly misinformed by aides to rationally ascertain his dire predicament. For those reasons, and others, a few decided that an intervention at the White...

Kiara, a 12-year-old from Santa Cruz, felt her nerves surge as she peered through the trees toward a large cabin, hearing the murmur of voices in the distance. Before arriving at the Young Actors’ Theatre Camp in Santa Cruz on the first weekend of April, she had spent all Friday daydreaming at school about what the drag workshop she had enrolled in would actually look and feel like. Would it unfold like an episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race”? Would the other campers like her ideas? What if she just couldn’t keep up?

Here it is, short and sweet — the Arab League told Joe Biden and his foreign policy clown show to “go pound sand” as they reversed course and ended Syria’s suspension from the Arab League.Let’s go back to the future. Here was the news from almost 12 years ago:Syria has been suspended from the Arab League over its failure to end the bloodshed caused by brutal government crackdowns on pro-democracy protests in a move that will increase the international pressure on President Bashar al-Assad.At an emergency session of its 22 member states in Cairo to discuss the crisis, the league...
