A British fashion entrepreneur has sold a coveted plot of sand on a luxury island in Dubai in a record-setting deal. The empty, 24,500-square-foot parcel of land, which lies on the man-made Jumeirah Bay Island and has no structures on it, sold for 125 million dirhams, or $34 million, on April 19, according to Knight Frank, the real estate firm that brokered the off-market deal. The sale is noteworthy because of the property's sparseness — previous headline-grabbing sales in Dubai have been of mega-mansions and ultra-luxurious apartments. Wanna get away? With federal and congressional investigations hanging over his head, first son Hunter Biden and his wife Melissa Cohen escaped Los Angeles by spending the weekend at a $50 million vineyard owned by medical device company executive Joe Kiani — a major donor to Democrats and Biden. Hunter, Melissa and their Secret Service protectors arrived at Kiani Preserve, about three hours north of LA in the heart of Santa Barbara wine country, in a four-car motorcade Friday evening — one week after the 53-year-old returned to the US from accompanying his father and aunt on a state visit...

VIDEOWhile watching 60 Minutes laughably attempting to "debunk" the idea that Ray Epps was a J6 Fed, I figured that no rational person would swallow their weak Kool-Aid. I was wrong. The Hill Rising's self-styled libertarian Robbie Soave despite being suspicious of the government somehow managed to make himself believe the 60 Minutes report as you can see. He does point out all the many feds involved in the Gretchen Whitmer "kidnapping" case yet somehow talks himself into believing that the feds wouldn't do what they often do on J6, namely to insert feds into a situation to help create...

I haven't watched FNC since 11/4/2020 and survived. You can too. The Bud Light boycott is already showing results. Two people have been put on "leave of absence" (fired). Turn off FNC and similar results can occur. Beside, if you watch FNC for 1 hours, you've seen everything newsworthy you're going to see there all day, anyway. The rest is just fluff and filler. Try Newmax, OANN or just your local news (not the network broadcast). Add a little FR and CFP and you'll get all the news you need for the day.

Let’s face it: Many armed Americans are deathly — and irrationally — afraid of others. And so they have become a menace to the rest of us. According to a 2021 Gallup Poll, as many as 88 percent of gun owners are apparently terrified of being harmed, since they say the guns are for self-defense. Yet very, very few gun owners end up defending themselves and their families from the sort of random crime they fear. According to The Trace, fewer than 3 percent of gun owners ever use a weapon in self-defense, and apparently some of those involve misrepresentation...

"Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. "Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. "Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath...

Exports of Irish beef have resumed to China, with the first shipment from Ireland to Shanghai arriving yesterday. The trade has resumed after a ban on Irish beef was lifted in January. The ban had been imposed following the discovery of a single case of atypical BSE in this country in 2020. Coinciding with the first shipment, Bord Bia has relaunched a beef promotional campaign in China. Access for Irish beef to China was first granted in 2018, and the trade in 2019 was worth €40 million. …

[Catholic Caucus] Assisted suicide: Paglia's OK destroys MagisteriumThe president of the Pontifical Academy for Life Vincenzo Paglia has given his OK to the assisted suicide law from the columns of Renzi's newspaper Il Riformista. In a plethora of heresies and leaning on the liberalist drifts of current social conditions and widespread pluralism, the bishop openly contradicts the Magisterium and the pronouncements of the Italian Bishops' Conference, even going so far as to say that the Church does not own the truth on these issues.Bishop Paglia is open to the assisted suicide law” read the front page of Il Riformista [The...

What if the conservative donor base took a tiny fraction of the money it spends on campaigns to win elections and spent it on building a school to teach conservatives how to organize for political power and action beyond and between elections? This wouldn’t be a school for educating children, as vital a task as that is. Hillsdale’s initiative focusing on K-12 schools and the growing Christian classical school movement are certainly commendable for the purpose of forming young minds. But this effort would be more a boot camp for adult conservative organizers to learn the tricks of the trade...

You lose Tucker Carlson; I think that really kills them.” “You’re getting rid of Tucker Carlson? Wow,” Beck added. “Letting him walk out the door even? Wow.”

Explanation: What powers this unusual nebula? CTB-1 is the expanding gas shell that was left when a massive star toward the constellation of Cassiopeia exploded about 10,000 years ago. The star likely detonated when it ran out of elements near its core that could create stabilizing pressure with nuclear fusion. The resulting supernova remnant, nicknamed the Medulla Nebula for its brain-like shape, still glows in visible light by the heat generated by its collision with confining interstellar gas. Why the nebula also glows in X-ray light, though, remains a mystery. One hypothesis holds that an energetic pulsar was co-created that...
