LOS ANGELES, CA — On the heels of conservative media pundit Dennis Prager stating his belief that consuming pornography is acceptable if it keeps spouses from engaging in adultery, reports indicate the rest of the workforce at PragerU is now awkwardly making every attempt to avoid shaking Prager's hand. "Yeah, it just feels…icky," said popular PragerU personality Amala Ekpunobi. "We all have a lot of respect for Dennis around here, but that statement definitely made us cringe a little bit. He seems like the type of guy who would be diligent about washing his hands, but…I don't know. Fist bumps...

Headquartered in SoMa, Opendoor is a so-called “iBuyer," or instant buyer, a data-driven real estate buyer that uses pricing algorithms to quickly buy and sell homes. Opendoor has steadily expanded its services metro by metro, and in early 2022, it started buying houses in the Bay Area. Other real estate tech firms like Zillow and Redfin have halted their own buying initiatives amid economic pressure and complaints about the controversial business method. Opendoor went public through a special purpose acquisition company in June 2020 and saw its valuation peak the following February. But the real estate market, at a frenzy...

A new investigation from lawyers hired by a school board outside of Philadelphia undermines claims by the American Civil Liberties Union and the Philadelphia media that a GOP-controlled school board created a hostile environment toward gay and transgender students. The 140-page report, presented at a school board meeting and made public Thursday night, paints a picture of an activist teacher breaking the rules to manipulate students and the media and then becoming a media darling after getting suspended for it. They also reveal that the supposedly anti-gay school administrators were, in fact, aggressive in cracking down on bullying. The story...

THINGS FALL APART — “Frustrated and tired: DeSantis’ demands wear out GOP Florida allies,” by Gary Fineout: “Florida Gov. RON DeSANTIS’ iron-clad grip on the Republican-controlled Legislature may be slipping amid growing frustration among GOP legislators.“Republican lawmakers are stalling a handful of his key remaining legislative priorities with just weeks left in the annual session. And what started out as whispers in private about unhappiness over the governor are starting to become louder …. DeSantis’ announcement this week that he wanted legislators to take aim again at Disney has irritated conservative Republicans loath to target private businesses. One GOP legislator...

As a showdown looms over increasing the debt ceiling once again, President Biden warned that partisan bickering over the issue could lead the U.S. to default on its obligations to Ukraine. "Listen, folks, it's real simple," said Biden to reporters. "We have a sacred duty to send billions to Ukraine to keep the war going. And don't forget our obligations to PBS, the 87,000 IRS agents we're hiring, and free transgender surgeries for at-risk indigenous youth. That takes money. Gotta raise the ceiling-not a joke!" House Speaker Kevin McCarthy however, disagrees. "We will raise the debt ceiling in exchange for...

VIDEOSteve Bannon has often said that "There are NO conspiracies, but there are NO coincidences." So is it really a "coincidence" that on the same day that it was widely reported that Joe Biden would be officially announcing his 2024 campaign next week that a damning report was released by the Deep State via one its outlets known as CBS News?

It’s hard not to laugh at the deadly earnest, self-righteous inanities spouted by former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg, who, primarily because of his sexual orientation, was chosen to lead the Department of transportation. Despite having never fixed the potholes of his home town. Name a bugaboo the progressives claim bedevils our society and Pete will tell you that it is at the root of transportation problems. Let’s see. Racism? Check.Next: climate “change.” Yep, it’s to blame for our transportation problems (because?) as he just testified yesterday:CLICK ABOVE ARTICLE LINK FOR THE VIDEO “On one hand, our transportation systems...

DENVER (AP) — Colorado Democratic lawmakers killed an ambitious bill Thursday that would have banned the sale and transfer of semiautomatic firearms, citing promises made to their constituents and concerns over the sweep of the ban even in a state still reeling from a mass shooting in Colorado Springs months earlier. Washington state's Democratic-controlled Statehouse cleared a ban on semiautomatic rifles Wednesday, joining the blue bastions of California and New York. But Colorado's Democratic-controlled Legislature was split on the issue, underscoring the state's purple roots, tensions between urban and rural constituents, and an ongoing push-and-pull between progressive and moderate Democrats...

Leftist billionaire George Soros is willing to spend billions of dollars to radically transform society into his own bizarre leftist utopia but he was apparently a cheapskate when it came to paying Twitter’s blue checkmark fee. Twitter owner Elon Musk tweeted April 11 that April 20 would be the “final date” for removing legacy blue checkmarks from users who refuse to pay the $8 fee. Soros clearly didn’t pony up the cash and his account of roughly 388,000 followers was stripped of its blue checkmark.

Sam Brinton, a non-binary former senior Department of Energy (DOE) official, agreed in court Monday to undergo a mental health evaluation as part of an adult diversion program. Brinton agreed to enter the adult diversion program during a remote Hennepin County, Minnesota, court hearing stemming from an airport baggage theft case. In October, police charged the former federal official with stealing a traveler's baggage worth a total of $2,325 from the luggage carousel at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport on Sept. 16 after flying in from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington, D.C. Under the adult diversion program, Brinton will...

This story just just won't go away, and that's a good thing. Two weeks ago I asked Why Did Bud Light Choose to Follow the Hershey Highway to Hell? And this story seems to have a new development every day! Today's news informs us that bars are dumping Bud Light from their menus, and over last weekend Anheuser Busch (AB) launched a flaccid apology campaign, first with a sorry not sorry apology that tried to shame us Normals for being offended, then with a normally innocuous tweet from Bud Light that got a well deserved ratio, and then spending the...

A new rule from the Biden administration will have good-credit home buyers paying more monthly to subsidize costs for high-risk buyers. The changes, which will begin in May, have many experts worried about the impacts both on buyers and the economy.

Former first lady Michelle Obama criticized “unfettered access to firearms” in America, saying during a Thursday interview with CBS’s Gayle King it is “not a good thing.” Obama urged younger voters to get involved and vote for candidates who will tighten gun control laws in the United States, Fox News reported. “More of us have to feel strongly about it. In particularly our young people. This is where democracy comes in. Voting — all of this stuff is decided in the ballot box,” she said.

This week, I’ve been writing about Wednesday’s epic meeting of the new Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (CFTOD). The board discussed its bold plans for the future of the district as well as the shenanigans Disney masterminded to hold on to its self-governing power after the state dismantled the Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID).The state of Florida established the RCID in 1967 to allow Disney to develop innovations for the property that would become Walt Disney World without having to work around government red tape. As I wrote in my book Neon Crosses:“Before Walt died, the legal team discovered a...

An international climate activist group has claimed responsibility for deflating tires on 43 SUVs in Boston’s tony Beacon Hill neighborhood — and leaving behind preachy notes warning vehicle owners: “Your gas guzzler kills.” In a blog post, the group, which calls themselves the Tyre Extinguishers and claims to have 15,000 members worldwide, explained that Wednesday night’s stunt was their first foray into Boston, and that activists only targeted “large, luxury gas powered SUVs.” The eco-warriors noted that they spared hybrid, electric and handicapped-marked vehicles. “SUVs and 4x4s are a disaster for our health, our public safety and our climate. Bigger...
