Connecticut police have charged two people with cutting more than 2,000 fiber optic cables, leaving over 40,000 homes and businesses without internet service in the southwestern part of the state. Norwalk police said they arrested Asheville, North Carolina, residents Jillian Persons and Austin Geddings on Saturday during a surveillance operation. Both were charged with larceny and criminal mischief crimes, as well as interfering with police. Persons also was accused of giving a false statement to police.

Transgender activists aim to police the speech of Americans—particularly when it comes to preferred pronouns, but some of them do not extend the Almighty the same courtesy. Charlotte Clymer, a biological male who identifies as a transgender woman, recently took to MSNBC to claim that conservatives “cynically weaponize” and “exploit” the deaths of children by pointing out the fact that the woman who massacred six people in a Nashville Christian school identified as transgender, according to police. Of course, this shooter’s transgender identity does not implicate others who identify as transgender or those who advocate for redefinitions of legal rights...

As we await the publication of all the impending indictments of former President Donald Trump by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, Americans are trying to figure out what constitutes an indictable offense for current and retired public officials.

I have always been a believer in limited government. I have always been aware that most men are not inherently good, let alone perfectible. Yet, I have, until recently, never believed in conspiracies, and was anything but a conspiracy theorist. Events of the past few years have, sadly, further opened my eyes to the extreme lengths some will go to attain, enhance, and sustain power over others. I now believe the indictment and possible conviction of former President Donald Trump, along with a potential gag order, is a preplanned attempt to engender a broad and potentially violent response among his...

(Last Updated On: March 28, 2023) NATIONAL CHOCOLATE MOUSSE DAY Every April 3rd National Chocolate Mousse Day recognizes the decadent dessert that gained popularity in France in the 1800s. #ChocolateMousseDay Mousse is prepared by beating eggs or cream or both to a frothy, airy consistency and then folding the ingredients together to create a light, creamy delight. While mousse can be either savory or sweet, for this day, we will focus on that all-time favorite, chocolate. The words mousse and chocolate are derived from the French language, so it isn’t difficult to believe France is where to begin looking for...

OSAKA -- China is increasing its presence in the race to develop replacements for the lithium-ion battery, a Nikkei analysis shows. A country-by-country tally of patents related to post-lithium-ion batteries over the past 10 years shows China in the lead, accounting for more than half of all patents. The evaluation of patents for sodium-ion batteries, perhaps the biggest horse in the race, also shows China dominating Japan and the U.S., with Chinese companies expected to begin mass production of these batteries this year. Japan and the U.S. are also rushing to develop inexpensive alternatives to resource-constrained batteries for their decarbonization...

A report says McDonald’s has closed its U.S. offices for a few days as the company prepares to inform employees about layoffs. The Wall Street Journal cited an internal email from the Chicago-based fast-food giant saying U.S. corporate staff and some employees overseas should work from home while the company notifies people of their job status. McDonald’s did not immediately reply to emailed requests for comment. The report said McDonald’s would inform its employees this week about staffing decisions that are part of a wide restructuring of the company announced earlier. Though the U.S. labor market remains strong, layoffs have...

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" (Matt. 5:3). Poverty of spirit is a prerequisite to salvation and to victorious Christian living. In Luke 18:9-14 Jesus tells of two men who went to the Temple to pray. One was a Pharisee, the other a tax collector. The Pharisee boasted to God about his self- righteous efforts; the tax collector humbly acknowledged his sin. The Pharisee was proud and went away still in sin; the tax collector was poor in spirit and went away forgiven. The Greek word translated "poor" in Matthew 5:3 was used...

In The Root of the Righteous, A. W. Tozer wrote, “It is doubtful whether God can bless a man greatly until he has hurt him deeply.” God is smart. He’ll tell you what’s ahead, but he won’t tell you how you’re going to get there. He gave Joseph a dream where he saw sheaths of wheat in the field bow before his sheath. God showed him what was going to happen but never showed him how he was going to get there. Let’s be real. If God had showed him the process, it wouldn’t have been a dream. It would...

The whole thing is grotesque, and I can’t imagine the ick factor that just got associated with drinking Bud. We never had Budweiser beer in my house when I was growing up. My German father called it Räuber Peepee, and that was not a compliment. At least in those days, though, Bud knew who its market was: Ordinary Americans who wanted a reliable light lager. Now, though, Bud has gone to the woke dark side. With its Dylan Mulvaney ad campaign, its newest market seems to be Joe Biden: A man whose fantasy, as played out in public, is accessible...

While Resident Biden is on good terms with the Mexican drug and sex trafficing cartels that control our southern border, the oil cartel just stuck their fingers in Biden’s eyes by cutting oil productions. Cartel removes more than 1 million barrels a day from market Analysts say the decline in oil inventories will accelerate Today, crude oil futures are up 6.62% to over $80 per barrel. Sunday’s surprise OPEC+ production cuts have redefined the outlook for crude prices, bringing $100 a barrel back into the frame. Prior to the announcement, the cartel’s own numbers suggested the group would need to...

After surveying 45,000 square kilometers of once mysterious ocean floor around Alaska’s Aleutian Islands, the uncrewed sailing drone Surveyor moved far to the south, discovering a previously unknown seamount within 200 miles of the NorCal coast. The safety-orange sailing ship is no stranger to adventure; it gathered carbon data from the Gulf Stream, mapped the seafloor from San Francisco to Hawaii, and weathered the 120-mph winds and 50-foot waves of Hurricane Sam. The seamount is the slumbering remains of an undersea volcano; these watery mountains were once considered little more than navigational hazards for submarines until scientists uncovered the richness...

The persecution of Donald Trump continues. It seems no accident that within the same twenty-four-hour window, anti-American prosecutors both confirmed their intent to lock up a president for exposing the Deep State's vise-grip over government power and celebrated the conviction of an American meme-maker who had used his First Amendment rights to mock Hillary Clinton's voters before the 2016 election. Highlighting both events as further proof of the country's two-tiered application of "justice," Tucker Carlson correctly noted that the in-your-face double-standard is precisely the point: leftist authoritarians want Americans to fear their power and meekly submit or respond unwisely and...

The 'Affordable Care Act' has caused — and is still causing — countless avoidable American deaths. On March 23, 2010, President Obama signed his namesake legislation, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) colloquially Obamacare, into law. On March 23, 2023, the Biden-Harris administration celebrated the ACA's thirteenth anniversary. They should be holding a funeral, not a celebration party. The ACA has caused countless avoidable American deaths. They are due to Washington's conflation of a piece of paper (an insurance policy) with a professional service: medical care. Xavier Becerra, the Health and Human Services secretary, astonishingly missing during the entire COVID health...

There are 19 months between now and Election Day 2024. Trust me, what the Democrats have in store to rig the 2024 presidential election through prosecutorial abuse has only just begun. To begin with, you have to remember just how vile and depraved the Democrat party has become. To appease their demonic base, Democrats like Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi openly advocate for child mutilation, gay porn in elementary schools, mentally ill men invading the girls’ locker rooms, and exposing little kids to the kind of depraved drag queens who want to expose themselves to kids. What’s more, to hold...

Liberal writers blast Leslie Stahl after bizarre Marjorie Taylor Greene interview on ‘60 Minutes’ Outspoken GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene doubled down on calling Democrats “pedophiles,” blasted establishment Republicans and demanded that the US stop the flow of aid money to Ukraine in a wide-ranging and fiery “60 Minutes” interview Sunday. Taylor Greene – also known as MTG – made numerous controversial comments during her sitdown with veteran reporter Leslie Stahl – and was promptly panned by many across social media. In one of the more shocking moments, the Georgia lawmaker responded “I would definitely say so” when Stahl pressed...

Many high school students are pushing back against the importance of test scores. Awaiting responses from colleges on whether you were accepted or rejected can be quite stressful. That stress can quickly turn to disappointment when having been rejected from colleges that were high on your priority list. For one high schooler, despite her high overall average when she sent out college applications, she was shocked to receive more rejections in the mail than she hadn't been anticipating. In a TikTok video, the teenage girl, C'Lette, filmed all of the rejection letters she had received in the mail from schools...

Pray For The Peace of JerusalemMark 14 Gethsemane32 They went to a place called Gethsemane, and Jesus said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray.” 33 He took Peter, James and John along with him, and he began to be deeply distressed and troubled. 34 “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death,” he said to them. “Stay here and keep watch.”35 Going a little farther, he fell to the ground and prayed that if possible the hour might pass from him. 36 “Abba,[f] Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from...
