A New York professor says that Generation Z is too brittle and jeopardizes America’s future, especially if a war happens because they will be useless in combat. Backing up that statement is, “Pentagon and Army Major Jon-Marc Thibodeau believe that Generation Z’s skeletons are weaker for various reasons. The dubbed “Nintendo Generation” has listed that a sedentary lifestyle has affected the skeletons of the current-day soldiers, making them easier to break when transitioning from a civilian lifestyle into the military.” Gen Z has been raised to be addicted to pointless social media posts and to be whiny victims who have...

The idea of burying liquid carbon dioxide is insane. Yet we're being told it's the right thing to do. Let's say you're brainstorming with some friends, trying to figure out how to cash in on the woke green wave. It would probably not occur to the less boldly imaginative among us to propose 1) capturing carbon dioxide (CO2) from agricultural areas covering five Midwestern states (see map from a corporate website here), 2) dehydrating and compressing it into liquid form at various capture locations, 3) transporting it via brand new pipelines, and 4) sequestering it into its permanent rocky tomb...

A San Francisco art gallery owner has admitted that he blasted water from a garden hose at a homeless person on the sidewalk, an episode that ignited fury after it was captured in a video that rapidly ricocheted online this week.

As the World Economic Forum in Davos approaches in the coming days it's a good time to take stock of what the "World Order" is up to. Besides a total reordering of the world's economy there is the matter of who's being pushed and prodded into compliance with it. Not just us common folks in Europe and the USA but whole nations like China and Russia...

His resignation comes exactly two years after he was elected to lead the party Two months after the Florida Democratic Party suffered one of its worst elections in modern history, Party Chair Manny Diaz announced on Monday that he was resigning from office. “After much reflection, I regret to inform you that I have chosen to retire as FDP Chair, effective immediately,” Diaz wrote in a five-page letter addressed to Democratic Executive...

Estonia is planning to implement a directive that will require fuel retailers to display how much it costs to cover a 100-kilometre journey with each fuel, writes Äripäev. Thus, petrol stations will be obliged to display in euros the financial cost for an "average vehicle" of a 100-kilometre journey. The wider aim is to encourage drivers to buy more environmentally friendly vehicles. The ministry of the economy said the need for the amendment was due to the interpretation of the Alternative Fuels Implementation Directive, which aims to inform consumers about the cost per kilometre of a vehicle using different fuels,...

The Air Force Academy has been rocked by the loss of Cadet 3rd Class Hunter Brown, 21, who died on Monday, according to a statement from the academy. “It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness I share with you that we have lost one of our own,” Air Force Brig. Gen. Paul Moga, commandant of cadets, told the cadet wing on Tuesday, according to the statement. “He leaves behind friends, grieving teammates, a grieving cadet wing, and a devastated family.” Hunter, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, reportedly collapsed while on his way from his dormitory to class on cadets’...

A North Carolina school district used COVID-19 relief funds to boost the salaries and benefits of its staff, according to a report. Chalkboard, a K-12 public education news outlet, reported that Wake County Public School System used more than 40% of $442 million in COVID-19 relief funding to supply “bonus pay” to its employees. The outlet goes on to say that “77.69% of spending to salaries and benefits, with about 10% or less was spent “on other categories.” The report explained further that the school district spent $238.2 million on salaries and benefits, approximately $30 million spent on supplies, $19...

Will the Real Anti-Christ Please Stand Up?Matthew 7:6 “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.9 Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if...

The Chicago mayoral primary election is underway. They’ve winnowed the field a bit – down to seven challengers plus the incumbent, at this writing – and people are doing their polling, walking precincts, and putting up yard signs. And there are commercials; in the biggest media market in the Midwest, in which the Democratic mayoral primary is the biggest contest, you can already be sure that the only real winner in this election will be the radio and TV people, selling those 15, 30, and 60 second spots to put ads on the air. What are the issues? Tax and...

Researchers in Taiwan have added to the increasingly negative picture of the impact the mRNA Covid vaccines have on the hearts of young men. The researchers conducted electrocardiograms (ECGs), which measure the heart rhythm, on 4,928 high schoolers in Taipei City, the capital of Taiwan, before and after their second Pfizer shot. Over 90 percent of the students were male. They found 51 students had significant changes in their ECGs after the second Pfizer jab. One of those was diagnosed with myocarditis, and four more had “significant” heart rhythm disturbances. Those included a student with premature ventricular contractions, which can...

As different states and municipalities across the country adopt ranked-choice voting, it’s become obvious this mind-boggling election system deserves a new name: rigged-choice voting. After nearly two months of tabulation, Alameda County, California, — one such ranked-choice voting (RCV) adoptee — announced it got the count wrong for its Nov. 8 election. As The Wall Street Journal reported, the California county admitted it made systemic errors while tabulating ballots. As a result of the snafu, an Oakland School Board race flipped: The top vote-getter (and certified winner) must now hand his board seat over to the third-place finisher. While gross negligence on...

Yesterday the Wall Street Journal had a story about a topic I’ve covered before, the hollowing out of American cities as a result of changes brought on by the pandemic. One symptom of those changes is the decline of mass transit in major cities on both coasts. While offices have largely reopened and travel has resumed, many commuters are only coming in a few days a week. That shift has left subways, buses and commuter trains operating at well below capacity—particularly on Mondays and Fridays…The ridership drop also has fueled an increase in transit crime, which in turn has pushed away...

Game over, man — game over? Well, maybe, but this new poll result from Morning Consult has a couple of caveats.First, though, let’s check out the graph for our daily end-of-the-world input:Gen Z adults are 18-25 years old, a formative age for political views. For today’s zoomers, COVID-19 lockdowns, social unrest and graphic images of police brutality may be causing them to abandon a sense of American exceptionalism relative to older cohorts, especially in terms of respect for civil liberties at home compared with less democratic countries. If younger Americans think the United States is just one of many countries...

Climate change communists keep talking about electrifying our economy because it is the only way to conceivably get to zero or near zero carbon emissions. Beege wrote a must-read post on this yesterday. Must. Read. Now I have no problem, in principle, with reducing the carbon footprint of the economy, as long as it can be done with inexpensive, abundant, and reliable power sources that perform the job as well or better than fossil fuels. And that is the promise that is made by the advocates of electrifying our economy.Perhaps someday that dream can be achieved, but that day is way...

Americans do not have tremendous respect for the honesty and ethical standards of car salesmen or journalists, but they still give people in these professions a higher rating for these characteristics than they give to members of Congress. This week, as first reported Tuesday by the New York Post, Gallup released the results of a survey it conducted on how Americans perceive the honesty and ethical standards of people in different professions. […] Only 2% of the respondents gave members of Congress a “very high” rating for honesty and ethical standards, while another 7% gave them a “high” rating. With...

Yesterday we looked at the federal government’s suggestion that they may either ban all gas stoves in the country or require expensive emission control modifications. This is supposedly being done as a public health measure, but under the covers, it seems like yet another covert attempt to eliminate fossil fuel use in America. That move, if it happens, clearly won’t be enough for the state of New York, where Governor Kathy Hochul will always try to bring her green energy one-upmanship game to the table. During her State of the State speech yesterday, Hochul pledged to not only do away...
