To some, Trump’s announcement at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday was music to their ears. It was the revival they had been waiting for after two years of a Biden administration that was not even a return to the swamp, but a deep-dive into the La Brea Tar Pits. As before, they were weary of being called names, lampooned, and now vilified as Mega-MAGA Republicans and a threat to the general welfare. (Incidentally, I thought the Democrats had all of the creative people on their side. Couldn’t they have done better than Mega-MAGA? It sounds like an ad for a monster truck...

On November 4, NBC’s “Today Show” had a blockbuster report on the strange attack on Paul Pelosi, husband of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. In the report, National Correspondent Miguel Almaguer cited an anonymous source close to the ongoing criminal investigation into the home invasion and assault that claimed Pelosi didn’t immediately ask for help or seek protection from police when he greeted them at his door the fateful night of the attack.“After a ‘knock and announce,’ the front door was opened by Mr. Pelosi. The 82-year-old did not immediately declare an emergency or try to leave his home....

Former Vice President Mike Pence won’t testify before the J6 Committee. He declared that Congress “has no right” to his testimony, despite previously indicating he would consider appearing before the committee. “I am closing the door on that,” Pence told Face the Nation host Margaret Brennan about testifying before the panel. “But I must say again, the partisan nature of the January 6 committee has been a disappointment to me,” Pence explained. “It seemed to me in the beginning, there was an opportunity to examine every aspect of what happened on January 6, and to do so more in the...

For older adults undergoing nonelective surgery, loneliness is associated with increased odds of death at 30 days, according to a research letter. Mary R. Shen, M.D. and colleagues examined whether loneliness is associated with postoperative mortality among a cohort of 4,453 older adults (mean age, 75.0 years) using data from the Health and Retirement Study linked to Medicare claims. Overall, 14.0 percent of the patients underwent nonelective surgery. The mean loneliness score in the cohort was 1.5. The researchers found that the unadjusted 30-day mortality rate was 1.8 percent (0.9 and 7.4 percent in the elective and nonelective groups, respectively)....

On my last night in Montana, I gave a talk on transhumanism to a right-wing organization. This was the third meeting I’d attended, held in the basement of an old Eagles Lodge. It really was a great honor. There were about forty people in the audience, I’d say, and about twenty holstered pistols. You don’t say the wrong thing to a crowd like that. Any more, I open my talks on transhumanism by noting that what we’re talking about is mostly fantasy. Genetic engineering on demand, sentient artificial superintelligence, commercial brain-computer interfaces—these are all disturbing ideas that exist, by and...

Back in May, California Gov. Gavin Newsom gleefully boasted that the state of California had a nearly $98 billion surplus after operating in the black for multiple years. But, now that Newsom’s been safely reelected, new projections show that the state of California will have a $25 billion deficit in the 2023-2024 fiscal year. “That shortfall, according to a new report from the state’s independent Legislative Analyst’s Office, could be followed by continued annual budgetary gaps between $17 billion and $8 billion for the subsequent three years,” reports the Sacramento Bee. “If the forecast holds true through June, when the...

When lawlessness has consumed as many governmental authorities as it has under Joe Biden, facing the reality can be a daunting prospect. Particularly since the straits we find ourselves in are already so dire that a sober assessment includes the reality that our survival depends on it. Consequently, we have no choice but to face this reality and all the dimensions of its existential threats, or be overwhelmed by it. Our nation is under siege. And not just by nuclear-armed totalitarian enemies outside the gates, who are determined to destroy us. But even more ominously by a domestic party that...

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) wouldn’t say Wednesday whether he would endorse former President Donald Trump’s latest White House run. McCarthy’s refusal came one day after the 76-year-old former commander in chief announced his 2024 bid. “You guys are crazy,” McCarthy told reporters when asked if he had plans to back Trump. “I thought he gave a great speech,” McCarthy said about Trump’s Tuesday night Mar-a-Lago spectacle. The California Republican fended off a challenge by Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) to win the House GOP’s nomination to be speaker of the House just hours before Trump’s announcement. Both McCarthy and...

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the...

Here’s Everything Republicans Should Do Now That They Control The HouseHouse Republicans must follow through on the promises they made to voters and punish Democrats for creating endless crises. It’s official. Republicans have won back control of the House of Representatives and finally have a shot at curbing the unconstitutional actions of the Biden regime.GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy already released an agenda he thinks Republicans should execute come 2023, but his legislative desires for a red House are too innocuous and unlikely to survive a Democrat Senate and presidency anyway. Because of limitations to legislative ability, Republicans must use their power...

Chinese dictator Xi Jinping lectured and threatened Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for leaking details of a previous conversation to the media in a remarkable on-camera encounter at the G20 summit in Bali, Indonesia, on Wednesday afternoon. “Everything we said has been leaked to the papers. That’s not appropriate. That’s not the way the conversation was conducted,” Xi told Trudeau in the brief and uncomfortable exchange, captured by a Canadian cameraman from the G20 media pool. “If you are sincere, we should communicate with each other in a respectful manner, otherwise it will be hard to say what the result...

Moderate Republicans are preparing to flex their political muscles to ensure their newly-won but narrow House majority is not hijacked by conservative hard-liners from the Freedom Caucus who are looking to impose a new set of rules in 2023. snip For example, the Freedom Caucus wants to restore an arcane rule allowing any lawmaker to call for a vote on removing the speaker at any time from the House floor. It wants to ensure that a floor vote is given to any amendment if at least 10% of the GOP conference is in support. Other rules changes deal with instituting...

Conservative pundit Megyn Kelly says she was unimpressed with former President Trump’s speech announcing he’s running for president again in 2024. “He kind of did disappoint a little last night, not to be too hard on him,” Kelly said Wednesday on her podcast. “I know he was trying to do presidential and he was trying to not screw anything up for Herschel Walker, but he did seem a little low energy. I was slightly bored.” Kelly took it a step further, saying, “I’m not going to lie, I did fall asleep before the end of the hour.” “Now, I’m getting...

WASHINGTON – The medical guidance was direct. Eleven-year-old Emma Basques had identified as a girl since toddlerhood. Now, as she worried about male puberty starting, a Phoenix paediatrician advised: Take a drug to stop it. At 13, Jacy Chavira felt increasingly uncomfortable with her maturing body and was beginning to believe she was a boy. Use the drug, her endocrinologist in Southern California recommended, and puberty would be suspended. An 11-year-old in New York with deepening depression expressed a desire to no longer be a girl. A therapist told the family the drug was the preteen’s best option, and a...

Chuck Schumer has apparently had an epiphany — without serfs, there can be no lord.Yesterday, the re-elected Senate leader addressed a crowd of reporters, and recognized a serious issue plaguing America, “Now more than ever, we’re short of workers.”But don’t fret, the fearless leader has a solution: fill the void with foreign-born invaders, and grant them citizenship.Citing the shortage, Schumer announced his party’s reinvigorated support for amnesty and citizenship for the illegal populations currently within our (fluid) borders — amnesty because these aliens are criminals for already having already violated America’s laws, and citizenship so they can officially become tax...

The media and the Democrats want us to believe that Kari Lake, along with others, lost because the “Red Wave” did not exist, and that close association with President Trump was the kiss the of death for Republicans. Really? Let’s take a closer look at the numbers to see what actually occurred in Arizona.

A recurring topic of discussion among some three hundred people from all over America who gathered to listen to and discuss presentations by U.S. national security experts after the November 8th election revolved around disbelief that the anticipated red tsunami appeared to have dissipated into a ripple. While some observed that “a near majority of Americans seem to have lost their common sense and moral integrity,” others expressed it this way: “Fools vote for fools, crooks vote for crooks, and dishonest people vote for dishonest representatives.” While these observations offer insight, there is clearly more going on. Many Americans have...
