Nancy Pelosi heading out, a Pelosi dynasty to begin? Christine Pelosi may be in line to take her mother's seat if she quits early

Now that Democrats have lost the House, longtime House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has said that she is reassessing her future and will make an announcement today.

According to the Daily Mail:

With Republicans set to take over the House of Representatives and Democrats slated for leadership elections at the end of the month, outgoing Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's will tell people her plans on Thursday.

Pelosi, 82, announced through a spokesperson that she'll 'address her future plans' later today with speculation already having begun as to whether she'll remain the leader of the Democrats.

Instead of passing the gavel in a great display of democratic continuity, that peaceable democratic change of power Democrats are so fond of touting these days, Pelosi's plan seems to be to resign now, citing her husband's health following an atrocious hammer attack by a drug-addled bum and illegal alien. No passing the gavel to a much-loathed Republican for her. She'd rather not finish her term than pass the gavel to, horrors, a Republican. She can let Hakeem Jeffries, reportedly in line for the House Minority Leader slot, do that.

But this being Nancy Pelosi, power will not be left on the table. She'd like to go, but for her, giving up power is anathema. What better than to leave it all in the family, where it's already been for two generations so far, and continue the enterprise, bigger and better than ever?

According to the Daily Mail:

Rumors have suggested that Pelosi would step down from Congress entirely, potentially leaving her extremely left-leaning district in San Francisco to her daughter Christine.

Joe Biden, who is as lost and out to sea as such creatures get, reportedly doesn't want this, but Pelosi reportedly hasn't dignified the old fool's pleas with a reply.

Christine Pelosi, 56, often appears with her mother at various events and even wrote a book about her in 2019: 'The Nancy Pelosi Way: Advice on Success, Leadership, and Politics from America's Most Powerful Woman.'

Her political work goes into California Democratic Party positions, including a decade-long stint as chair of the state party's women's caucus.

She's also served in Washington as a staffer in the Clinton White House as a special counsel in the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Pelosi was a Chief of Staff to Representative John Tierney from 2001 to 2005.

The speaker's daughter also has been affiliated with the Young Democrats of America. Most prominently, she was one of California's delegates to the Democratic National Committee and an elector for the state in 2016.

In the wake of the #MeToo movement, she also served as legal counsel to an ongoing campaign to end workplace harassment, going so far as to tell lawmakers in Sacramento: 'There are rapists in this building' during a public address.

As much as I despise Nancy Pelosi, I hate those who vote for her even more.

Nancy’s daughter would be a lock to win that seat.

What’s interesting to me is that OTHER legacy future political star, Chelsea Hubbell-Mezvinsky hasn’t breathed a whisper about starting her career in DC.

That tells me the Clinton “brand” isn’t doing too well these days.

So does Nancy want to take her ball and go home? She was just re-elected to her seat in Congress. So she is still a member of Congress even though she won’t be speaker of the house anymore.

It sounds like if she can’t be speaker she will take her ball and go home. And here we were led to believe she’s such a rough tough woman , first woman speaker of the house and all of that.

She said how she knows how to take a punch and how to throw a punch. But now things are getting tough so she’s going to be a coward and leave?

Here’s hoping this ‘protected child’ never lives up to the conniving evil her mother possessed.

What else can a Pelosi do? They are incapable of honest, productive work. Their only choice it to be a DemocRAT.

The House investigation in January needs to cover January 6th and Pelosi’s role in not securing the Capitol, but also her role in the ensuing 14 days. She called and met with Gen. Milley and claimed in public to have received assurances that the civilian chain of command of the Military had been short cut as a precaution against Trump initiating nuclear war on his way out of office. Every communication that Pelosi (and Milley) had in that time period must be subpoenaed and disclosed to the public a la the J6 committee’s approach. Except that instead of filtering and selectively releasing information I would just take the text messages of what will then be former Speaker Pelosi - all of them and dump them, raw and unedited, completely unredacted, online.

Of course. The nobility always pass on their power to their children. We peasants just hold our hats in our hands, pull our forelocks and know better than to question the actions of our betters.

So Nancy’s daughter could be a grandmother by now?

It’s a family affair, though. Before Nancy, three members of the Burton family held the seat. That takes us back to 1964. I guess the city isn’t big on competition.

Wait a minute here. Members of the House are elected by the people. If Nancy was in the Senate when she left the governor of the state she represents can pick the replacement. Since she is in the House, the governor can not pick someone. There must be a special election.

Until we correct the errors that have been introduced into the system by changing which citizens are allowed to vote we will have a hard time righting the ship.

Lazy, illiterate voters are the bane of our Republic. We do not have aristocracy in our country, yet these types of voters seem most willing to forget that.

Nancy Pelosi now thinks she’s a queen her gray matter has turned to slush.
Don’t believe her party will stand for that she has stepped on to many toes to often.
